What matters for servicing is the warranty terms and the refrigerant inside. ## What the warranty covers Daikin Singapore's general warranty runs for fifteen (15) months from the date of delivery or twelve (12) months from the date of installation, whichever earlier, with the compressor warranted for a further period immediately following the general warranty. The warranty does not pay for routine work. Daikin lists general servicing of the air-conditioner among what the warranty excludes, and the compressor warranty excludes labour and transport and charging of refrigerant. Budget for servicing separately from the warranty. Two things void it. Daikin's warranty terminates if you use any part in the air-conditioner other than genuine Daikin parts, or fail to follow Daikin's instruction as regard the application, installation, use, service or maintenance.
