A one-off clean is priced by type and by the size of the home. Decide which clean you need, then make every company quote the same list of tasks.

## The published ranges

On their own websites, Singapore cleaning companies publish these typical ranges for a one-off clean: deep and spring cleaning SGD 170 to 320, move in and move out SGD 190 to 370, and post-renovation SGD 280 to 350.

| Clean | Typical published price |
|---|---|
| Deep and spring cleaning | SGD 170 to 320 |
| Move in and move out | SGD 190 to 370 |
| Post-renovation | SGD 280 to 350 |

This table shows published prices as of 20 September 2026: the middle half of what each trade lists on its own websites. Most are package prices for a typical flat, so a larger home or a landed house costs more. For the current range, use the [price tool](/tools).

## Which clean you need

A **deep or spring clean** is for a lived-in home. It goes beyond weekly cleaning: inside cabinets, behind appliances, grout, windows and fans.

A **move-in or move-out clean** is for an empty home. With no furniture in the way, it is quicker per room but often includes more surfaces, such as the inside of every cabinet and the oven.

A **post-renovation clean** removes fine dust and debris after building work. It costs the most because the dust is in every surface and track. Book it after cutting and sanding have stopped, or you will pay for it twice. See [post-renovation cleaning](/guides/post-renovation-cleaning).

## What moves the price

- **Home size and type.** A three-room flat and a five-room flat are different jobs.
- **What is included.** Windows, aircon filters, fans, the oven, the fridge and balcony are often extras.
- **How dirty it is.** Heavy grease, mould or renovation dust takes longer.
- **Crew and hours.** Some companies price by crew size and hours, not by package.
- **Equipment and supplies.** Ask whether cleaning products and tools are included.

## Licensing: what it does and does not tell you

NEA says cleaning businesses providing domestic cleaning at a private residence do not need a cleaning business licence. This does not cover the common property of a condominium.

So a company cleaning your flat may be unlicensed and still legal. A licence is still a useful signal. NEA's cleaning business licence has three classes. A licensed business must train its [cleaners](/cleaners), including in workplace safety and health, and pay resident cleaners under a progressive wage plan.

NEA publishes a public search page listing licensed cleaning businesses, which you can use to check a company that says it is licensed.

## What a quote must show

- The type of clean and the home size it assumes.
- A task list: rooms, windows, appliances, fans and anything excluded.
- The crew size and how many hours.
- What happens if the job takes longer.

A GST-registered provider must quote prices that include GST. IRAS can fine a business up to SGD 5,000 for not doing so, and a GST-registered business may not advertise a price as having no GST.

## Frequently asked questions

**How much is deep cleaning in Singapore?**

On companies' own published prices as of 20 September 2026, a deep or spring clean typically costs SGD 170 to 320, usually as a package for a typical flat.

**Is a move-out clean cheaper than a deep clean?**

Not always. The published range for move-in and move-out cleaning is SGD 190 to 370, because it often includes the inside of every cabinet and appliance.

**Does a home cleaning company need a licence?**

Not for cleaning a private home. NEA's licence applies to other cleaning work, such as a condominium's common property.

**Should the quote include GST?**

Yes, if the company is GST-registered. Ask for the total in writing.
