- 2 stars, 21 Aug 2026: Our master bedroom AC was leaking, so we engaged Billy AC Servicing & Repair after they were recommended by both my in-laws and my parents. We never mentioned the recommendations to them. Initially, we had a good impression. They were able to offer a next-day appointment and arrived within the timeframe given. During the appointment, they told us the master bedroom unit was very dirty and required additional flushing of the drain pipe using water, as well as a chemical wash of the fan blower and water tray. - 1 stars, 25 Jun 2026: Beware of deceptive upselling tactics! I booked a basic multi-unit servicing package with this company. The technicians did the base cleaning, but then immediately used high-pressure scare tactics regarding my outdoor compressor. They claimed it was dirty and would heavily affect the cooling, pushing a steep $150 add-on fee to clean it. While watching them work, I realized the "cleaning" was a complete joke. They did not dismantle the compressor at all; they just sprayed some water and basic chemical over the fully assembled outdoor unit. To try and justify the high price, the technician even

But recently bad experience and was very disappointed. 28 Feb - came for servicing and do chemical overhaul. Checked no need gas topup. 4 Mar - Suddenly aircon not cooling. Found one of the hose not tighten. 4 May - Came check and say that the outdoor unit coil was not clean well. Need to add $100 for water jet cleaning. 3months ago chemical cleaning did not clean well? After 3 - 4 years, it seems their modus operandi has shifted from honest and trusty service to downright questionable. I have never heard of chemical wash for split aircon systems requiring complete purging of refrigerant gas in my line of work. The conflicting statements after questioning them on "why the need to purge all the gas and top up for chemical wash" came with two different reasons: (1) My gas was low and need to top up. (2) It is part of Billy Aircon's process to purge and top up. Unfortunely again, this was told to my
