He also explained what needs to be done regularly to keep a washing machine in good working order. Again, the tedious 'paperwork' is a hassle, but I guess it protects all parties. Thank you.

Prior to the appointment, I provided the model number, photographs, and videos showing the fault symptoms. The gas supply and ignition spark were working, but the timer control could not activate the hob. I paid the discounted $56 advance inspection fee and made it clear from the outset that I was willing to proceed with repair if it could be completed on the same day. - 5 stars, 15 May 2026: Contacted HomeUnited Repair regarding my older LG front-load washing machine (9 years old) which had a door gasket / retaining spring issue causing the door not to close properly. Technician responded promptly, came onsite, and diagnosed the issue professionally. I appreciated that they explained the condition of the machine honestly instead of hard-selling unnecessary repairs. They also advised that due to the machine’s age (almost 10 years old), replacing the washer might be more economical in the long run.
