About Honestfix

A search result can't tell you whether a provider actually does your job. Honestfix was built around one worry the founder kept coming back to: a homeowner searches, finds a provider, calls them out, and the provider doesn't do that particular job at all. A category on a directory, or a general reputation, isn't proof of a specific piece of work. Honestfix was built to close that gap: a provider is listed on a trade page when there's evidence it does that trade's work.

Honestfix covers home services a household needs: something broken, urgent, or due for upkeep, such as plumbing, electrical work, aircon servicing, pest control, locksmiths and handyman jobs.

• It doesn't cover renovation, interior design, or anything a homeowner wants rather than needs.
• It's for homes, not businesses or commercial premises.
• It's a directory: providers do the work, and you deal with them directly for scope, timing and price.

Honestfix is free to use today, and nothing is charged to search or compare. There's no advertising or paid placement on the site right now. If that changes, any paid placement will be a clearly labelled position on the page, kept apart from the ranking. Money paid to Honestfix never moves rank, whether a provider pays for a placement or not.
