I had a bad mealy bug infestation on my large potted plant. Eugene came over and taught me how to treat and repot it, and helped repot my other plants too. He was patient in answering all my questions and taught me everything I needed to know to maintain healthy plants. It was a lovely afternoon and I recommend Eugene for any of your plant needs, big or small!

Eugene is a God send! My balcony garden was a mess... One work trip, and everything was a little overgrown... One week of not paying attention because I was busy and the weeds had taken over... One heavy rain and suddenly every pot looked worse for wear. I had reached my wits end and was contemplating putting all my plants up for adoption! Then I came across Hortusculturesg and messaged them asking if they'd be willing to take on my little balcony oasis and I'm so glad I did! The whole balcony has been spruced up. The plants are recovering well from their pruning, and Eugene gave me so many tips and corrected all the bad gardening instructions I've been given my whole life. Huge thanks for bringing order back to the balcony! Even the sun birds are back, singing their happy little songs cause the garden looks so good.

I renovated my garden, and before the work began, I repeatedly confirmed with the boss about the plants he recommended. He assured me that they would thrive. We were satisfied with the completed garden, and it came with a one-year warranty. However, just one week later, all the Pearl grass died. I contacted the boss, and he did provide maintenance. But after a month, some of the grass and trees died again. The boss agreed to provide another round of maintenance. We also followed his instructions to take care of the garden every day. Unfortunately, after another month, issues occurred again. Now the boss is saying we need to pay extra for maintenance. But according to our contract, there is a one-year warranty, which includes free support for any problems with the plants. It’s very disappointing that he is now blaming us for improper maintenance and going back on his word.

His team of workers were skilful and efficient. Careful thoughts were given to carry out the work orderly. My sisters and I were happy with the results. The bamboo trimmings was well done. Despite the heavy trimmings, the bamboo was able to maintain a nice and natural look. The installation of pearl grass and granite slabs, the landscaping improvements /make over together with general maintenance of plants has enhanced the overall appearance of the garden space (including the space outside the house). Price was reasonable. Will definitely engage them again for future maintenance of the garden.

Eugene and Arun are fantastic to work with. From initial reach out, to surveying the site and sharing the plans - they were prompt and clear. As importantly, Eugene and his team of landscapers/gardeners are friendly, hardworking and they build beautiful landscapes & grass patches Didn’t need to worry as kids played near them while they worked. Most importantly, wife was happy with the end result!

Update: 1 Feb 2025 - Unfortunately after his last visit in April 2024, he has not returned for any maintenance visits as promised. We texted multiple times over these many months due to issues with the plants' growth, pests etc, and he replied with some advice, but did not come by aside from saying he'll try to. It has been 9 months. We need his expertise to diagnose problems with our plants and advise us, but are not getting help as promised at the start. We are disappointed and wish it has not turned out this way, because it started out really well. Being busy with more business and bigger jobs does not mean reneging on what was agreed upon, even if ours is a small job in comparison. ++++++ Our balcony transformed from a barren space into a lush jungle because of Eugene. Patient, easygoing, generous in dishing out advice and extras, Eugene was super to work with right from the first exploratory call about coming in to landscape our apartment balcony. He's crazy knowledgeable (and passionate!) about plants, understood the brief and delivered beautifully even though we asked for the moon. We now have a gorgeous forest sanctuary right in our home, filled with delicate ferns, majestic palms, enormous elephant ears and bird of paradise - plus basils, blue peas, rosemary and lavender. A place to escape into. ❤️ Thank you.

Went there by chance last weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the find - a hidden gem where you’ll be able to find exotic yet very affordable plants for the home and office! Don’t know much about plants but the owner gave me a good introduction to the varieties and how to care for them.... best of all without the pressure of hard selling... .... haha I actually ended up buying quite a few for myself and colleagues! Good handy gifts to perk folks up....also another plus point - great weekend trip for the family with a pond fishing facility within the venue to spend a nice relaxing afternoon !

Raja and team did a fabulous job for our garden! They tidied up the garden which allowed more sunlight to come through, reorganised some of our pots of plants to remove the clutter and most importantly, replanted new grass all over the garden floor! It's lovely to be able to see our garden being a garden all over again, restoring life and beauty into it. Raja and team was very patient and understood how we hoped for our garden to look after it had been done up. They definitely more than met our expectations and we highly recommend them to anyone who's looking to revamp your garden. Thank you Raja and team!!

Eugene is incredible! I had a tough time with my plants because the nursery I bought them from had horrible soil—I spent months dealing with crane flies, worms, insects etc. Eugene revived them by changing the soil and even helped me purchase a plant at a wholesale price, which he brought along when he visited! He took the time to explain every little thing and answered all my questions with patience and enthusiasm. You can tell how passionate he is about plants and how much he cares about educating people to care for their plants better.
