Highly recommend BTO Door Pte Ltd! We got their bundle (main door, gate, and digital lock) and it was a great deal. Kai Wen explained everything in a detailed manner and showed us examples of custom made doors too. It helped us make a good decision! The quality of the door and gate is excellent, and the digital lock is super convenient. Very happy with the upgrade to our entryway.

Disappointing experience with BTO Doors. Customers should be aware that they appear to operate largely as a middleman, with third-party vendors handling the doors and installation. Full payment was also required before anyone came down to take measurements. I ordered bedroom doors, a main door and gate, and a fluted-glass aluminium bathroom door. Two different companies came down to take measurements, but when the doors arrived two weeks later, my master bathroom door was measured wrongly and was too big to fit. Despite the mistake not being mine, I had to wait another two weeks for a replacement. Throughout this period, replies were slow and updates were lacking. I was eventually offered a $50 refund for the incorrect measurement and two-week additional delay, which I felt was inadequate for the inconvenience caused. Mistakes happen, but communication and accountability matter. Unfortunately, both could have been much better.

Visited the BTO showroom last week and finally had my Lockin digital lock installed today! The experience from start to finish was amazing. From the moment I stepped into the showroom, I was welcomed by a lovely scent that instantly made the place feel warm and homely. STOP! If you’re reading this then I strongly encourage you to reconsider your options. The service and responsiveness is disgustingly poor and ridiculous. Despite multiple messages and calls, they always arrive beyond the scheduled time and even work past regulatory hours and brought unnecessary complaints and unhappiness from my neighbours. The staffs’ responsiveness is poor and unprofessional. Despite communicating to them the lapses caused, they remain irresponsible and nonchalant. No matter how enticing the price may be, please take my advice to reconsider your options to avoid inconveniences and damages. The door installed is also 100+mm larger than the frame - which says a lot about their workmanship and skills in measurement and fabrication. I have lodged a formal complaint with CASE. All homeowners should not go through such trauma and unpleasant experience.

Highly recommended BTO Door! We installed a digital gate, main door, main gate, 2 toilet door, and 3 bedroom doors, and everything was completed perfectly with excellent workmanship and quality. Engaged Kai Wen for our BTO fire-rated door installation and had a very positive experience overall. Friendly attitude, prompt responses, and efficient throughout the process. Installation was carried out by an experienced and knowledgeable installer who was also very friendly and professional, which made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. Not responsive in whatsapp at all, at first I wanted to engage them for my house renovation. But after messaging and liasing for the few weeks, I notice they tend to not response. This would cause issue especially for installation if the staff are not responsive. hence I look to others. Engage at your own risk

We decided to engage BTO Door Pte Ltd after reading Google reviews, and our experience has been a positive one. We were assisted by Joshua during our visit to the showroom, where he was very patient in showing us the different options before we confirmed our order. Joshua’s follow-up was consistent and proactive, especially in coordinating the installation schedule with his team. Although the team arrived about 30 minutes late on the installation day, Joshua personally reached out to apologise on their behalf, which we appreciated. After the installation, we noticed a missing screw on one of the doors. Without hesitation, Joshua immediately coordinated with his team and arranged for it to be fixed on Jan 4. He also kept us well-informed of the timing beforehand. Overall, we are happy with the installation and would like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation to Joshua for his responsibility, responsiveness, and good service.

Unprofessional service. WhatsApp them to make an appointment but staff said no appointments required, can simply walk in during opening hours. Went down during opening hours but store is closed. Waited for half an hour while calling the staff multiple times but there was no response. Took time off from work to make a trip down. Saw the earlier reviews but wanted to give them a chance. Guess they are right. Unprofessional and disappointing

Who knew that one small mistake could cost us almost $2,000 and a traumatic experience? We engaged BTO doors to change our two bedroom doors, main gate, and main door in June. The installation itself was done nicely. We had a digital lock on our old door, and gotten the installer to remove it so we could get a professional digital lock installer to reinstall it on the new door. Unfortunately, the installer (from BTO doors) forgot to remove and return the face plate on the smaller old main door. We didn’t realise it at the time, assuming that we had everything needed when the installer dismantled the old lock. When our digital lock installers came, we only found out the crucial face plate was missing after we had the digital lock installed. It was the finishing touch. They had no choice but to improvise and try to work around it. (As reference - the situation turned out just as bad as what another 1-star reviewer has shown in his photo) This turned into a disaster: we ended up locked inside for two hours, tried to pry the door open, and damaged the digital lock in the process. All of this could have been avoided if the installer (from BTO doors) had simply returned all the lock parts when removing the old digital lock. Now, not only is our digital lock ($800) spoiled beyond repair, but the new main door (~$800+) also needs to be replaced. Also, not forgetting that this brand-specific face plate can’t be found anyway online. It’s such a pity that a small mistake ended up costing us so much money, time, and stress. We are so so so troubled by it and hope the after sales can get back to us with regards to this incident.

Unprofessional. I ordered the main gate and two digital locks from them at the smart home tech show. Only on installation day the worker told me the model I ordered does not fit the 3ft HDB door?? Nobody informed me about the limitations of different models and they have my door size from the start. Now I have to reschedule and topup to get a different model. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. The gate installed was fine.

Service is atrocious. Bought a main wooden door from them. They were supposed to fix up my door in the morning, so I took leave and went down to my house under renovation at the scheduled appointment time. I waited till the afternoon but they never turned up. Worst still, I tried calling my point of contact in the company, Kai Wen, who missed multiple of my calls. When I finally got through, I was told that the door was manufactured to the wrong dimensions and they had to rectify it at the factory. This delayed all my other intended works by a couple of days, making incur extra costs and efforts. When I called Kai Wen again to explain my frustration and rush them, there was not even a single apology from their end or an attempt to compensate me in any ways. There was no accountability whatsoever from their end from the point of the mistake to the final execution. That’s all I have to say and I’ll leave it here. I hope you will think twice before hiring them.

I'm thoroughly satisfied with my experience with BTO! Kai Wen was exceptional in explaining their products and providing transparent pricing. I visited BTO Door months ago and had the pleasure of being assisted by Wei Shen. I was initially unsure about which digital locks and door would best suit my needs. Wei Shen was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the features and benefits of various models, answering all my questions thoroughly and clearly. He never rushed me and ensured I understood everything before making a decision. Furthermore, Wei Shen followed up with me with the measurements and installation to ensure everything is in order. This level of customer service is truly exceptional and highly appreciated. I highly recommend BTO Door and especially commend Wei Shen for his outstanding service.

Having read the reviews before I decided to give BTO Door a try taking a risk as I know their contractors are the 1 doing the installation and there were some complaints regarding that. Reason I took the risk as it was a promotion hence the price point was very attractive. Choose to change 2 toilet doors which was eventually done up well and within the stipulated timing. Problem arise when the digital door lock contractor should be there from 10.30am to 12.30pm but eventually turn up at 3+pm. During the whole time tried to contact Kai Wen but was not responsive during the whole duration. Left me wondering if the contractor will even arrive. When finally done with the digital door lock installation, the lock and was not aligned to the door frame requiring adjustment and ending up with the photo attached below. It was in a worst state have I not been present and asked for filler to touch up the mess. Imagine have I not been there he would have left exposed untreated wood with splinter all over. Even the filler was not done professionally. Also when he over chiseled the door frame he tried to use cupboard from the cupboard box to fill up the gap in the door frame when installing 😢. It was a horrific experience and changing a HDB main door would cost a more than 2 toilet door and the digital door lock combined. Highly suggest if you don't want to go through such experience, don't be like me and trust the 1⭐ reviews.

Horrible experience so far. Kai Wen was the customer service officer who attended to me. Keyed in wrong address on the invoice, input the wrong door colour. Measurement team was supposed to call me 30min before reaching but failed to do so. When I tried calling them to check if they were still there no one answered my call. On the day of installation, the staff informed that door was measured wrongly and unable to install. Called up mainline and customer service but no one answered. Totally unprofessional.

Served by Wei Shen and terrible service, bad communication and no follow up. Did not turn up on time for installation and after waiting 4 hours, I found out they only installed the inner door lock not the outer door lock. Did not inform before the appointment and when asked when he is able to deliver he is unable to give a reply. Still pending their confirmation for my door lock and he is not even able to give an estimated date. So my house going to have no lock indefinitely?

I placed my order for a fire rated laminate door. I must say the finishes of the door (if any) is poorly done. After the installation, you could see smudges over the door. Initially I thought a wet dried towel would remove the smudges. Unfortunately no . And to make matters worst, any contact of the skin with the door would leave a smudge. In the end, I have to do some google on laminate door maintenance and ordered the Pledge lemon polish from shoppee which fortunately did the job and remove the smudges and no longer I have to fear leaving smudges when in contact with the door . Secondly I was told I would be receiving the fire rated certificate but there was no news since then.

Dishonest seller! Very disappointed with them. Before i purchased the doors from them, i asked them if the doors are compatible with pvc frames and they insists yes. After installing in less than 3 months, my wall beside the door frame started to crack and the door is slanting. Then when i called my id and bsc to asked why the wall crack and the door is slanting they told me that is because the door is too heavy. Solid doors cannot used for pvc frames. So when i feedback to bto doors, they push the responsibility to bsc and said that it their frames not stable enough. I went to consult another door specialist and they said that pvc frames can only compatible with semi solid doors not solid doors. Bto doors are very dishonest,when things happen they just shift responsibility and they have no knowledge on their products. Buy from them at your own risk.

Wei Shen’s service was impeccable. I had him measure and draw existing door closer dimensions for me and was going back and forth on new installation dates due to reno delay . He has been very very patient with me and I would hlghly recommend his service to anyone who is keen to change their doors. Price is reasonable and service is fantastic! Installer is also very pro and careful on site!! Thumbs Up!!!
