I contacted them via whatsapp regarding door repair, replacement of embedded concealed soft door closer and front door lock repair. After providing them with pictures, videos and specs they provided a quotation for $350 for door closer replacement, and $450 for front door lock replacement. I asked for examples of what type/ brand and model they would be providing at that price and after confirming the price we agreed on time and place. After specifically confirming this with them with a detailed summary via whatsapp (because i already had a feeling they were not being transparent) they replied with "Noted and thanks". Maybe its just me but i think that means everything was agreed on, then right before our agreed appointment they messaged that actually a digital door lock will be extra cost $850 and also the door closer is now $480 for a different brand. If that was the original price then it should of been disclosed earlier instead of confirming on our initial quotation and wasting everyone's time. Maybe google means 4.9 stars / 100.
Please proceed with caution when engaging this company. There were too many red flags for me to proceed including lack of professionalism, lack of transparency, lack of commitment and lack of integrity. Trust your gut.
Response from the business
Dear Jeff,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We would like to clarify that our quotation was prepared based on the information, photos, videos and specifications provided to us at the time. The pricing was based on the particular door closer and lock requirements discussed. During the subsequent clarification, there was a misunderstanding regarding the exact type and model of the door lock and closer required, which resulted in different pricing being communicated.
We sincerely apologies for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. We understand that customers expect clear and transparent pricing, and we take this concern seriously.
Our intention has never been to mislead or waste a customer’s time. We always aim to confirm the exact product specification, brand/model and final price before carrying out any work. We will also review our communication process to ensure that quotations and product specifications are made even clearer in the future.
We respect your decision not to proceed and appreciate your feedback, as it gives us an opportunity to improve our service.

I am very happy with the service provided for the repair of my yard sliding door. The screw was damaged, so I contacted them via WhatsApp. They responded within just 4 minutes, provided a quotation promptly, and arranged for two handyman, Mr Sabbir and Mr Uddin, to come to my home on the same day. They arrived within a few hours, which was very impressive.
The handyman who looked more senior was responsible and carried out the repair carefully, making sure everything was working properly before they left. The other handyman was quick and efficient in assisting throughout the repair.
I am extremely satisfied with their prompt response, efficiency, and quality of workmanship. Highly recommended!

Recently engaged them for some minor repairs around the home e.g.
1. Replacing my 14 yr old bathroom glass door hinges
2. Re-applying fresh silicone to my bathroom glass panels
3. Changing out all all my non-functioning soft close hinges
4. Replacing the rollers on my sliding door
5. Replacing the locking mechanism of the main gate.
Sumon and Hosain came to my place on time and well-equipped. They were professional and courteous and even helped me to rebalance all the cabinet doors.
I am very pleased with the quality of work and great attitude and I am currently thinking of my next engagement with them as there are other works they are able to do such as electrical, plumbing etc.
Strongly recommend looking for both of them. They make a good team! Thank you!

I picked HandyMan King as they are able to do a great variety of work. But I have to say I am very impressed with their quality of work and how meticulous they are. They come equipped with all the tools and the pictures I wanted to hang was properly measured 3 paintings side by side, properly spaced out. They don’t rush the work and the cabinet hinges that they fixed was in much better condition then before. Lack of Transparency and Poor Communication,
I recently hired this company to replace a lock, and my experience was frustrating and disappointing. Initially, the price quoted was $150 to replace a lock cylinder or $250 for a whole lock set. However, after their assessment, they changed one side of the lock without informing me or getting my approval for the new price of $259.
The most concerning issue was their assumption that I would understand the technical details without them properly explaining the problem or the options. I was not informed of the actual issue with the lock or given the chance to agree to any changes in pricing. The technician simply went ahead and changed the lock without my consent, which felt dishonest and unprofessional.
When I raised this issue with them, the response was dismissive, and instead of owning the mistake, they blamed me for not understanding the original quote, And when asked why did they not inform me of change of quote they conveniently blamed it on me for not being present when the lock was being changed, when they could have simply just WatsApp or called to inform. There was a clear lack of communication, and I felt pressured to accept a service and price that I had not agreed to.
As a customer, I expect transparency—especially when there is a change in Quote/ Price, I would strongly advise caution when considering this company, as their approach to customer communication and pricing was far from satisfactory.
