My Dell laptop suddenly could not power on due to a motherboard short circuit issue. The team performed a detailed diagnosis using thermal imaging and motherboard schematics, identified the faulty component, and successfully repaired the board instead of recommending an expensive motherboard replacement.
Throughout the repair process, they kept me updated with photos and explanations of the fault, which gave me confidence in their work. After the repair, the laptop powered on normally, passed memory diagnostics, and all functions including charging, keyboard, touchpad, Wi-Fi, and ports are working properly.

350sgd laptop screen replacement on may 21st 2026 with 90 day warranty but 92nd day it died and company blamed supplier and only offered 50% discount for another replacement repair or 50% refund. I offered 50% cost for repair if they could offer free 1 year warranty but they rejected. (Repost because I noticed SGD typo as she earlier. ) Will likely escalate to small claims tribunal because it's not fair that a product can fail so fast and the shop shifts blame to supplier (it's the company's responsibility to have reliable suppliers, the customer shouldn't have to shoulder that burden when the customer is paying the shop and didn't get to pick the supplier).

We sincerely apologize for the ongoing frustration regarding your display. As shared previously, your laptop utilizes a rare, high-end display panel with very low market demand, making these specialized parts exceptionally difficult to source.
While the defect occurred after the warranty coverage period, we tried to find a fair middle ground by offering to absorb 50% of the replacement cost or providing a partial refund, which was not accepted. Additionally, we were unable to accommodate a complimentary 1-year warranty on such rare components due to supplier limitations beyond our control.
We regret that we couldn't reach a mutually agreeable outcome, but our team remains open to communication should you wish to discuss this further.
