Great moving service! We moved from Tampines to Tanah Merah, and the whole process was smooth and hassle-free. The movers arrived on time, handled our furniture and belongings carefully, and worked efficiently throughout the move. They were friendly, professional, and made sure everything was properly arranged at the new place. Pricing was reasonable with no unexpected charges. Request to please Read the 1-Star Reviews Before Booking I recommend reading the 1-star reviews before booking this mover. Our move was extremely stressful, especially with small children. They went without lunch until around 4 PM while we dealt with unexpected issues and extra charges. We had requested one fixed, lump-sum price after the surveyor inspected our home. However, once the first lorry was loaded, we were told that additional items required another 1 to 2 lorriee. Smaller belongings, including two suitcsses, flower pot, bicycles, had not been clearly recorded despite our questions and agreed for all in price. We were also asked to pay SGD 100 for boxes and an additional carrying fee, although these charges had not been agreed beforehand. We had previously been told there would be no long-push charge. Because condos often have strict moving-hour limits, customers have little flexibility once the move begins. If you still choose to engage them, ensure that every item and possible fee is documented in writing, including boxes, bicycles, suitcases, lorries, carrying distance and additional charges. Do not rely only on verbal assurances. Our relocation was unpleasant and highly stressful. I recommend considering other movers for a more transparent experience.

⚠️ Please Read the 1-Star Reviews Before Booking I strongly recommend reading all 1-star reviews carefully. Based on our experience, several complaints appear to follow a similar pattern. 1. Initial survey and fixed quotation A surveyor visited our home, sounds very professional and propose 2 lorry is sufficient. As we wanted peace of mind on moving day we specifically requested one fixed, lump-sum price covering everything he saw. He agreed and provided a fixed quotation which we both mutually agreed. He even mentioned all in agreed price. 2. Incomplete assessment The surveyor’s notes were scribbled and difficult to understand. He mainly recorded large items, such as beds, sofas and cabinets. Although we repeatedly asked him to include smaller items, we were told there was “no need” because they were understood to be included. We specifically asked about two bicycles, but were again told they did not need to be listed. We relied on his professional assessment and assurances. But finally we agreed for all in included price and he confirmed as well. 3. Additional lorry charges But the moment after the first lorry was loaded and departed, we were suddenly told that there are additional items required another 1-2 lorry. Even ordinary items, including our seven suitcases, few flower pots etc they started saying are additional. 4. Unexpected box charges We were also asked to pay an additional SGD 100 for boxes, despite this charge never being discussed or agreed beforehand. 5. Unexpected long-distance carrying charges During the survey, we were told there would be no long-push charge for our unit. However, after the first lorry was loaded, we were suddenly asked to pay an additional carrying fee. 6. Pressure on moving day These demands were especially stressful because condos generally impose a strict 5 PM moving-hour restriction. Once the move has started, customers have limited options, particularly if they have already vacated their previous home. Refusing the charges could leave belongings stranded, while agreeing means paying fees that were not clearly disclosed. It felt almost like being held to ransom after the move had begun. My advice Please read all 1-star reviews carefully before booking. If you still engage them, get every item and potential charge documented in writing, including small items, suitcases, bicycles, boxes, number of lorries, carrying distance and additional fees. Do not rely solely on verbal assurances. We had an extremely stressful and unpleasant relocation experience. For a peaceful, transparent and predictable move, I strongly recommend considering other movers.

I had a worst experience of move using CitiStarts movers. My 65 inch LG TV was damaged during the move, although it was a small damage in the corner but these thin TVs are delicate enough to cause full damage to the whole screen. My mistake I didn't open the wrapping/paper after the move and only waited for contracts to come and install. LG 3 year warranty was over and Harvey Norman 2 years extended warranty does not cover the accidental damage. Movers washed their hands saying it could contractor fault. There is no warranty by movers. Secondly, there quotation was lower than others but in the end they mentioned it will take 3 truck loads and hence charges were same as any other movers. Thirdly, they did packing / wrapping at old place and went for lunch before going to the new place for unloading. Since I had arranged two moves on 2 different dates and asked them to avoid lunch in between move, but they still did it for second time around. I had asked for more cartons and wrapping material as initially supplied was not enough but they didn't respond. I had to buy on my own as well. In summary, they may be good to move bulky / regular items but not professional to handle the delicate items like big TVs. Overall bad experience for me and a big loss :-( [31-Jul] - after more than 10 months there was a reply to this review that I was compensated. No one contacted me from Citistars or no compensation offered, it’s incorrect and misleading response. Hence I have to edit this review and write back. Please be careful when engaging them especially delicate items.

We did our move a month ago & we finally settled in to write this review. Though we are tired from the move (packing & unpacking), we really wanted everyone to know how absolutely wonderful Citistars is! Our friend recommended Citistars to us & right from the start, we knew we made the right choice! The survey was done the day after we gave them a call & boxes were sent to us in the next couple of days such that we could start packing. On the actual day of the move, Rayson & his team were simply fabulous! They were fast & efficient, knowing exactly what was needed to be done. They packed, dismantled, loaded up the boxes in the truck, unloaded everything at our new house & assembled the bed frames. Everything was completed in 2 hours 45 minutes. Amazing! The team made our stressful move a very seamless one & we really appreciated them. Will definitely engage them again next year when we have to move another round. No regrets! I ve worked with Kiev and team for 6 years across 2 house moves and 3 office moves and 1 disposal. Some of the crew I have seen several times which is a good sign that turnover is low. The team is speedy, polite, patient, fast and also work happily despite the hard work. As a best practice, do ensure you tell them clearly what you need with photos and details and double confirm beforehand dates/deliverables. This helps set expectations upfront.

Was looking for a mover and found them. See lots positive comments so decided to take. Their charges is goes by trucks, and additional charges for stairs. If you have a king size mattress, $50 per floor. Their service that I paid could say acceptable, as they do a good job in protecting my furniture. In their trucks is not completely empty, there are some barang of cardboard boxes etc stored inside the truck to be utilised. Also the deposit of $100 is use to hold your payment to collect back their cardboard boxes. Used up 3.5 trucks and spend tot $1,000++

Great experience. Engage them thru word of mouth from my friend. Kev drop our place to assess and est. amount of truck needed for our move. Explained the price upfront. We decided to engage them after meeting with Kev. After paying deposit, they sent the boxes to my house on the same day. Super swift speed. During moving day, the staff all came on the dot!! Very punctual and Jeremy team is nice and friendly. They are swift and despite swift, when they work, they are happy which makes stressful shifting day not so stress anymore. They clear up and even dismantle my bed and shift everything out in less than an hour. Reach our destination and help to shift the boxes to my assigned area, assemble the bed etc and all within an hour. Super fast, friendly, nice group of mover. Would I recommend them? No doubt, 100% yes! Thank you for much to Kev and Jeremy team!

Move was efficient and fast. Have a few remarks/feedback for improvement 1. explain objectively what’s the difference between Long Push and super long push, how is that measured, and when will you be charged. - Honestly out of all the mover’s I engaged (5 times), this was the first time I’ve encountered where moving up a ramp to the HDB block incurs additional fees. Additionally, if the house is on a non carpark block, they charged for super long push. For someone who doesn’t work in the moving industry, we won’t know what Long Push or Super Long push or Mega (maybe) Long push means. - Friend who also moved to the same house from the same carpark wasn’t charged by long push or super long push Fee by their mover. 2. share all the possible charges before signing / during viewing. I was only aware that there will be charges for stairs, insurance, per truck, etc. This way people will know in advance what other charges you will have before signing. 3. surveyor should consider viewing the destination as well for a more accurate quote. 4. Align price between Surveyor and Moving team. We had to argue on the price for an extra half load since moving team gave a different price compared to the surveyor. Eventually price got clarified which was good. Overall I’m satisfied with the service but hoping to give feedback for improvement to avoid unnecessary arguments and unclarity during the move.

A site visit was done in my place and I was given a quote on the spot. Everything went smoothly and all my items were moved over to my new place without any damages. Poor experience. What would have been a straightforward 1-2 hour move turned into 6 hours. Delay was due to truck breakdown, which is unfortunate for all but through no fault of the customer. Invaluable time wasted and frustrating hunger for all, including a child and pregnant. No service recovery from company despite severe delay, and instead resulted in them shaming us for being unsympathetic and cruel to the workers. While clarifying the illogical and unreasonable fee quote, the workers stayed around, seemingly to scare and threaten. We paid in full, as we were too tired to argue. Disappointing experience in the end. Engage with caution.

Citi Star was recommended by my family who has been using them for house movings. I must say Jeremy and his team had gone extra mile to provide their best service to ensure that we had a smooth shifting. For instances, they wrapped and took good care of our stuff during shifting. Their vast experience had helped to organize and prioritized important items. They even offered to help with redistribution of boxes according to different rooms. Their pricing is also reasonable and transparent. I would highly recommend Citi Star and engage them again in future.
