    On Monday, I reached out to one of the sales consultants, Miko, requesting for a quotation of a door. It is now Thursday and there is not a single reply or follow up. With so many google reviews, I thought that there would at least be some professionalism or good customer service. If you need a door urgently, I would recommend other door shops which are more responsive and have better customer service. Very disappointing experience.

    I received this doorbell as a free gift from them from buying their door lock, although I understand that they also sell this product. After just over a year of use, the doorbell stopped working. I contacted them about the issue and was told to bring it down to their showroom for them to check. I made the effort to travel all the way down and specifically went there to look for Daniel. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting for an entire hour. I called and texted Daniel multiple times, but there was no response at all. After waiting for an hour with no one attending to me, I finally gave up and left the doorbell at the showroom. The most frustrating part? Daniel only called me back about 30 minutes after I had already left. What made the experience even worse was that she wasn’t even apologetic about the situation. After all that trouble, the product ended up being spoilt/faulty anyway and they are not replacing or fixing it. I understand that the doorbell was given to me as a free gift, but that doesn’t excuse the poor customer service. If you’re going to offer or sell a product, basic communication, responsibility and courtesy should still be there when a customer encounters a problem. Making someone travel all the way down, leaving them waiting for an hour without any response, and then calling back later without even an apology is simply unacceptable customer service. Very disappointed with the after-sales service and the way this situation was handled. Would not recommend buying from them. Adding on after 1 week I was informed by Miko, my original sales representative, that she had asked her technician to inspect the doorbell, and that the doorbell is in fact working. This is extremely disappointing, as I was previously informed by Daniel that she had checked the doorbell and determined that the motherboard was faulty and could not be repaired. Based on that diagnosis, I proceeded to purchase a new doorbell. I am now being told that the original doorbell was actually functioning and that it was not properly checked in the first place. This means that I incurred an unnecessary expense based on an incorrect diagnosis that could have been avoided had a proper inspection been carried out initially.

We acknowledge that you had to wait longer than expected, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. However, we would also like to provide some clarification for readers regarding the product concerned. The doorbell mentioned was provided to you as a *complimentary free gift* together with your digital lock purchase, and it had been in use for *more than one year* before the issue occurred. By the time it was brought back to us, the product was already *outside its applicable warranty period*. Despite this, our team still agreed to have the unit brought to our showroom so that we could inspect it and see if there was anything we could reasonably assist with. After checking, the unit was found to be faulty. As it was already outside the warranty period, we were unfortunately unable to provide a free replacement. We understand that receiving a complimentary item does not mean that customer service should be compromised, and we accept that our communication and handling of your showroom visit could have been better. We will address this internally. At the same time, we hope it is fair to distinguish the service experience from the product warranty issue. The doorbell had been used for over a year, was provided complimentary with your purchase, and was already outside its warranty coverage. Nevertheless, we still made an effort to inspect the item rather than simply turning away your request. We regret that the overall experience left you disappointed and appreciate your feedback, which we will use to improve our after-sales communication and customer handling.

    Absolutely outstanding experience with Chloe from HDDoor from start to finish. From the very beginning, Chloe was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and responsive. She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, answered all our questions clearly and never once made us feel pressured into making a decision. Her pre sales service was exceptional and gave us complete confidence in our purchase. What impressed us even more was the after sales service. Chloe remained just as responsive and helpful even after everything was completed. Any questions or concerns we had were attended to quickly, professionally and with genuine care. It is rare to find someone who puts this much effort into both winning a customer and continuing to look after them afterwards. The entire experience felt personal rather than transactional, and Chloe genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.     We purchased our main entrance door, gate, digital lock, hob and hood from this company in May 2026 at Grantral Mall. While the initial sales service was great, the post-sales service fell far short of expectations. 1. Measurement Schedule: Response times slowed down when arranging the on-site door measurement. However, after a few days, an appointment was set and the site measurement was completed as scheduled. 2. Delivery Delays & Poor Communication: The major issue came with the hob and hood delivery, which was crucial for our kitchen installation on August 13th. - First missed delivery: Schedule for August 11th, but it never arrived. No one informed us of the delay, and the sales person wasn't even aware it hadn't been delivered. - Second missed delivery window: Rescheduled for August 12th between 2pm and 4pm. Despite repeated explaining that no one is at the renovation site 24/7, the delivery arrived at approximately 5.50pm as notified by the sales person - well outside the agreed window. - Unattended drop-off: Because it arrived later, no one was there to receive it. The items were simply left unattended outside our door. 3. Opened Item & Poor Customer Service Handling: When I arrived at 6.20pm, I noticed one of the boxes had already been opened. When I brought this up with the salesperson, expressing concern over whether the unit was brand new, instead of understanding my perspective, she questioned what the issue was with the box being open. She also claimed it was "normal" for delivery teams to leave items outside without anyone receiving them. While she repeatedly reassured me that the item was new and promised replacements if anything was damaged or missing, the lack of empathy and unprofessional handling eroded my trust. Final Thoughts: I strongly advise against buying appliances from companies that do not handle them as their main core trade. I am deeply disappointed with this experience and now anxious about the upcoming door delivery and installation - though the salesperson assured me those are done directly by their in-house team. I truly hope all the subsequent goes better. Salesperson : Wendy.

However, considering Singapore's labour, transportation, and operational costs, a minimum $80 transport and service charge for an on site technician visit is generally considered reasonable. Replacement parts are charged separately based on the components required. We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to supporting our customers whenever assistance is needed.

    Decided on them mainly because of reviews. The prices I have checked and are roughly the same across most companies, with the actual design and manufacturing handed off to third-party vendors, I believe. Person in charge of design was meticulous which is appreciated. Installation crew was experienced enough and solved many problems on-site. Sales left a lot to be desired however, unlike what many reviews here claim, mostly because of inconsistent pricing. Honestly, I thought the price quoted should get us a premium door, but maybe times have changed with inflation. Regardless, one big issue we faced after installation was that the sliding door buckles back and forth when the wind gets strong, causing a banging sound against the floor sliding piece (see video). I raised this as an issue to them but they diagnosed wrongly that my skirting caused the problem. After clarifying what the issue was, they wanted to charge for the fix. Ultimately, we chose to forgo their fix and just DIY-ed. The door is heavy and you have to know how the sliding mechanism works to do so. It would've been extra difficult if we didn't choose open track to begin with. Luckily we had some experience after going through renovation, but you definitely can't do this alone and it does take effort and time. Final verdict: Still feels like we overpaid for what is otherwise a normal open track laminated sliding door. As advice to potential buyers, just make sure to clarify the little details like the above beforehand, to prevent corners being cut by them and unpleasant surprises.
