Engaged A&V Aluminum Contractor for replacing my HDB 4 Rm unit. Alex Ong, the boss, is very professional. He came down personally to do site survey and measurement and quoted within the same day. On the day of installation he and his installation team was perfectly on time. He stayed on site and supervised the installation. Came at 9.15am and finished the job just before 4pm. Highly recommend. I highly recommend to engage them if you are thinking of installing new windows or replacing old ones.

I wanted to replace my window as my home is near a busy traffic junction and hoping to reduce traffic noise. Unfortunately, after changing to double-glazed windows, the noise issue did not improve as I had hoped and remain unresolved. In fact, I experienced more traffic rumbling, vibration and echoy sound especially at night. I understand that no window can be fully soundproof, but I was not aware before installation that the replacement could potentially perform worse than my previous single-glazed window for traffic noise. The discussion then was mainly about meeting the BTO requirement for the external window appearance. To their credit, the team came back several times to inspect and try to address the issue. They also rectified some smaller workmanship matters, such as the handles and silicone finishing. I appreciate their efforts and follow-up. However, the main reason I replaced the window was to improve sound insulation, and this has unfortunately not been achieved. The noise issue continued to affect my ability to sleep and is detrimental to health in the long run. I later sought other opinions and was advised that the window-frame design may not be ideal for strong sound insulation. Overall, I appreciate the team's attempts to help, but I am very disappointed with the final outcome and still searching for alternatives as I was informed that there was nothing more they can do.

One panel of the 3-panels casement window dropped and broke. I got quotations from 7 companies and Javier from A&V Aluminium gave me the best price. This coupled with the good reviews about them in Google, allowed me to make my final decision to engage them. Javier came to take measurements the next day. I took the chance to replace full set of windows for both rooms. (One other company was able to replace just the panel that broke but it is not really cheap and I will live in fear of other panels dropping in future) A&V was also able to replace the toilet window which frame was termites infected (some other contractors told me they can't do the hacking, will need separate contractor to hack). The worker was careful and the toilet tiles didn't have any crack. Best part is all windows replaced in less than a week, measured on 10th July 2026, replaced on 15th July! Work done by 2 efficient workers with good workmanship and Javier also came at the end to inspect. Highly recommended!

Alex & AJ and their workers are very friendly people and highly professional. They are pleasant to deal with and gave me the best prices. Their workers are skilled and competent - they completed the job of removing the old set of 6 panel windows & grilles in my balcony and installing new ones in just 3 hours. And within that time they also retrofitted my existing sliding windows whole house with the angle strips which I requested as additional work. The workmanship is very solid. The new windows & grilles are crisp and they slide smoothly & quietly. With Alex & his team, you will be dealing with people who are genuinely interested to help solve your problems, not just another transaction. I highly recommend them. Thank you very much A&V Aluminium team!

Amazing work carried out by Alex and his team! Alex is meticulous. He did site visits to ensure that the window measurements are correct, communicated with us to find out our needs before proposing the suitable kinds of windows that would best fit our lifestyles. We engaged A & V Aluminium quite late into our Executive Maisonette renovation for the replacement of all windows, including a fairly complex two-storey balcony enclosure. Despite the challenging timeline, Alex and AJ delivered beyond expectations. From measurements to installation, everything was completed in less than two weeks around the Chinese New Year period—which, frankly, was nothing short of amazing. They were incredibly accommodating and helped us keep our renovation on schedule when many others would have said no. One of the biggest highlights was the two-storey balcony enclosure. Several other suppliers had told us that our design was not possible because of HDB restrictions. Alex and the team not only came up with an elegant design pattern that suited the house perfectly, but also handled the HDB submission and approval process flawlessly. The approval went through smoothly without any issues. The workmanship itself is excellent. The black-framed windows have completely transformed the look of our home, maximizing natural light while maintaining a sleek and modern aesthetic. The quality of installation is top-notch, and everything feels solid and well-finished. Most importantly, Alex and AJ were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the project—responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile. If you're looking for an aluminium contractor in Singapore, especially for complex HDB projects or custom window solutions, I would not hesitate to recommend A & V Aluminium.

A big thank you to this amazing window contractor. The workmanship was neat, the team was efficient, and everything was completed smoothly without any hassle. What impressed me most was their flexibility. They coordinated closely with my ID and adjusted their installation dates to fit around my renovation schedule, including paintworks, making multiple visits when needed. Despite the excellent service, they still offered the best price I could find after comparing several recommendations. Reliable, accommodating, and great value for money. Definitely recommended!

My windows were installed by Alex and HJ five years ago, and I recently had an excellent experience with their after-sales service. When one of the handles came off, I reached out to them and they responded on the very same day. They promptly arranged for someone to replace the handle free of charge. What impressed me even more was their professionalism — they also took the initiative to inspect the rest of the windows without us even asking. It’s rare to find such responsive and responsible service these days. Highly recommended!

28. 5.0Xavier T.3 May 2026

I recently hired ANV Aluminium through Javier to replace the sliding windows in my bedroom with soundproof casement windows. I was frequently disturbed by the noise from traffic and birds nearby, so I was looking for a solution to create a quieter, more peaceful environment. Since the soundproof windows were installed, I've noticed a remarkable reduction in external noise. It has made a significant improvement in terms of quality of life as I no longer hear the constant hum of traffic or random bird calls early in the morning. The entire process from initial contact to final installation was efficient and seamless. The team completed the project in less than three weeks, which exceeded my expectations.

Engaged A&V through AJ & Alex, and in very short turnaround, Alex dropped by for a site visit, showed me the samples and talked me through and gave suggestions. He was totally friendly and patient and my family joined in the discussion and he helped my mom decide on what windows she wanted for her room. After that as we walked with Alex around the house he helped to inspect the existing windows and adviced us if some of the windows were BCA compliant or not and whether we need to change them. I requested sound proofing for my room, and he actually gave very sound advice on whether he think's my situation is worth getting sound proofing based on my use case etc, but ultimately he defered to my decision without judgement or pressure. After fiming up everything, AJ coordinated everything with me admin wise and then we set the appointment. The workers arrived very timely, and started work immediately. We had 7 areas that needed work in the house and the workers worked diligently and efficiently together. They were all friendly and respectful and our family felt at ease with them around for the whole day. Alex even helped us to take a look at our doors and other stuffs and they helped to value add with their time and services above and beyond what was in the scope of work. Very importantly, I had requested for certain customizations to my windows. Alex was very honest about what can be done and what cannot be done, they were logical and aligned to my expectation, so I was very comfortable discussing with him and he would propose alternate solutions to achieve what i wanted. Actually, before engaging A&V I had personally made time to GO DOWN to other 'popular' window companies to visit their 'sales' team, and they were either rude, dismissive, or dishonest. For example telling me I can run wires with my casement windows no problem, the cable will easily fit and the door can close. When I look at the proper casement windows A&V installed and how well sealed they are when close, there is no way that can be done without damaging the seals and deforming them in the long run. Things like this made me decide not to go with those popular companies that were shown on review sites and 'top 10' sites, and I'm really glad. Also A&V pricing is really reasonable and competitive. I have been quoted x 2 and above for my windows by other companies too and they don't even tell you how thick or what glass they use clearly. Overall, my family are very satisfied. In fact, today when it rained, my mom didn't even notice it (Normal casement windows). We have very loud rains from my mom's room due to having a zinc roof right in front of her bedroom window, but it was barely audible. We're all really happy that our house has transformed so much thanks to Alex, AJ & team, 6 out of 5 stars!

Engaging Alex to replace my windows has truly been one of the best decisions in my renovation journey. As a new homeowner, I’m really grateful for his guidance and support. He provided practical advice on window selections tailored to my home’s needs and highlighted areas which I would have easily overlooked without his expertise. What stood out most is his honesty and dedication. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure everything is done right and well. V approachable, patient and prompt to respond. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Alex. If you’re looking for someone who is skilled, dependable, stays on schedule and genuinely cares about the delivering the best results, you’re in safe hands.

I engaged A & V Aluminium Contractor to redo all the windows in my 3-room house. Initially, I planned to only soundproof the front windows due to heavy noise from buses, deliveries, and nearby developments. However, after Javier’s consultation and on-site inspection, I decided to redo every window in the house. *I had contacted many other companies, but most were not willing to do a site visit and only asked for photos and measurements.* Javier stood out as the only one who offered a proper, non-obligation on-site survey, even coming down on short notice. He took time to understand my situation and gave honest, practical advice on achieving the best soundproofing solution without overselling. Although I only proceeded about six months later, Javier was more than happy to come down again to re-measure. His father also visited before the renovation to double-check everything. On the renovation day, the team arrived on time and completed the job earlier than promised. Javier even returned after the installation to ensure everything was up to standard before collecting the final payment. The windows are sleek, aesthetic, and the soundproofing made a huge difference. Highly recommend A & V Aluminium Contractor to anyone reading this review. 10/10.
