    I was searching for a mover for the first time and Aegis (unheard of) flashed several times in social media & I read their reviews seem good. Though I had shortlisted some but Aegis seemed set on me then. Fast forward the move was done. From the admins to etc..they were well-coordinated, flexible & friendly amongst others. I was sent the team who were reliable from prior arrival notice & punctuality, also friendly, easy etc. I am happy with their service & will be using them again for my 2nd subsequent move.

    It is terrible experience to engage Aegis mover to do my home moving. Not a big lot but fridge, tv and few boxes. Morning time slot booked in advance and even re-confirm it with admin person the day before. However, half an hour before the time, lorry driver text me lorry service today and delay my job 7 hours to evening. OMG, it crashed all my plan. The job finally finished 7pm. We spent whole day waiting till dark while this job supposes to be finished by noon time. Within 30min lorry left, admin immediately text me chasing payment without any apology to what happened. I made serious complaint to such long delay and the admin person just said I don't know. Believe or not. Admin used the word patience in last conversation. You really want to give your moving job to company /admin don't know what the fleet doing, even the lorry is not Aegis name, obviously it is a sub sub contracting work, someone just sit there waiting for payment, therefore, I don't know is right la. Think twice before your decision to such company you cannot trust and goes to provide you bad services and waste all your time? Forget it and pay little bit more for a better and professional mover that doesn't give you upset. Good luck. Supplementary notes after owner response: Mover had no show and delayed job for 7 hours but blame you didn't tell them you were not happy. Believe driver, sales and admin had no communication on working day, it actually said you handed your belongings to someone Aegas had no control. Crazy enough on this experience, would block Aegis Movers forever. Even worse to see damage on the back of my new fridge during cleaning today. Because mover used normal lorry without raise / drop platform, fridge motor corner on ground first and metal cover was badly distorted. I want to take back the 1 star gave last round.

    Hi Dennis, We understand that the change from the original morning timing was inconvenient, and we acknowledge that this could have been handled better. However, we would like to clarify the full sequence of events. Our moving team contacted you in the morning to inform you that they were unable to make the original timing and proposed 5pm instead, which you agreed to. Thereafter, there was no further objection or complaint communicated to our office. Our movers therefore understood that the revised timing had been accepted and proceeded accordingly. Had you informed us that 5pm was not acceptable, our office could have stepped in and explored arranging another team instead. Unfortunately, our movers were trying to resolve the timing directly with you, and since the revised timing was agreed upon, the matter was never escalated to our admin team. This also explains why our admin contacted you regarding payment after the move without first addressing the delay. We were only informed by the movers after completion that payment was outstanding. Until you raised the issue at that point, our admin had no knowledge that you were unhappy with the earlier timing arrangement. We therefore feel it is unfair to portray our admin as simply “sitting there waiting for payment” or knowingly ignoring what had happened. We cannot address a complaint that was never communicated to us. Regarding the comment about the lorry not carrying Aegis branding, the branding of a commercial vehicle does not determine who is managing or providing the moving service. The assumption that a differently branded vehicle automatically means the job was “sub-sub contracted” is simply incorrect. We accept responsibility for the inconvenience caused by having to change the original timing, and communication between our moving team and office could certainly have been better. At the same time, once a revised timing was proposed and agreed upon without further objection, our team reasonably understood that the arrangement had been settled. We respect your right to share your experience, but we also believe the complete context should be represented fairly.

    Would not recommend. Their quotation lists “Free Boxes & Delivery” as included. As this was our first time engaging movers, we relied on this and assumed it would be arranged accordingly — we requested for less than 30. Movers arrived without boxes on moving day. When we asked if we could source our own boxes instead so the move could still proceed, the movers agreed. We then spent time buying boxes ourselves only for them to come back and say they could no longer wait, as they had other jobs to get to. This cost us the window to arrange another mover in time, since we’d relied on their agreement to proceed once we had boxes. No apology was given for the wasted time or the last-minute change by both parties. When we said we’d leave a review reflecting this, their boss called, was hostile and left voice messages instead of addressing the issue, including: “Don’t be too much la seriously, you didn’t even request for the box in the first place, you still got the cheek to leave review ah huh? You go and reread the chat before you tell me all this things okay, you wanna leave review I sure make it big one I tell you.” Threatening a customer over honest feedback, on top of wasting our time after agreeing to proceed, is not acceptable business conduct. Screenshots and audio exist to back all of this.

    your review does not show the full picture. Firstly, you uploaded our general quotation, but not the confirmed quotation that was actually issued for your move. Those are two different things. The general quotation is simply an overview of our services, while the confirmed quotation reflects the actual booking and discussions that followed. Throughout our conversation, you never asked us to provide or deliver loan boxes. You only mentioned the estimated number of boxes involved in your move. Many customers already have their own boxes, which is why we do not assume everyone requires ours. We reserved the moving slot, arranged the manpower and truck, and honoured our agreement without collecting any deposit. When our crew arrived, the job had reduced from an estimated 1.5–2 loads to around 0.25 load, as most of the items had already been moved. You later informed us that you intended to leave a one-star review over what we believed was a misunderstanding. We contacted you because we genuinely believed the review did not reflect what had actually been communicated between us. If we had completed your move poorly or failed to honour our agreement, we would fully accept the criticism. But in this case, the issue arose from a misunderstanding over something that was never requested. We simply ask that reviews reflect the full context.

    Movers communicated their ETA before arrival and cling wrapped our bulky items carefully - e.g. protect our TV with carton boxes first before wrapping. I like that their prices (incl. long push fee) are adjusted based on the load. No deposit required upfront too and carton boxes are provided based on a refundable deposit.

    Had the pleasure of engaging Aegis for my house move and was incredibly impressed by their responsiveness, professionalism and care throughout the entire process. The admin team was super responsive and supportive even when I realised at the last minute that I had seriously underestimated the number of items I had. Despite the change, they remained accommodating and helpful every step of the way and I couldn't be more grateful. Moving houses can be mega draining but the Aegis team made the experience so much smoother by taking a huge weight off my shoulders. Highly recommended.

    Mr. Bannis' team did an excellent job uninstalling an entire smith machine from a friend's house and reinstalling it at my new place. I was initally worried that they might be careless with the bigger pieces and cause damage to the walls and furniture. However, they did a good job of navigating tight corners and spaces and the equipment was set up smoothly and well. Additionally, Mr. Bannis showed very good knowledge of the equipment and was clearly very experienced with installing and uninstalling complex gym equipment. It also helped that they were one of the lower quotes received from mover companies. All in all, I felt that it was money well spent as the professionalism shown and the number of manhours and manpower needed was not small. If you need a team to uninstall, install, move and/or dispose gym equipment, do get Aegis Movers to help and ask for Mr. Bannis' team.

    Absolute mess and ordeal. TLDR: Furniture dumped on ground and side of road; took half our items in the lorry and do a side business w another customer while we wait more than an hour; truck smaller than what we ordered ( 14ft agreed upon but 10ft arrived) Long version: We ordered a 14ft lorry but a 10ft arrived. Without informing us of the situation, we were quoted on the spot that 1.5 load was required. We have no choice because we had to shift that day. We only later found out downstairs that the lorry was a small 10ft truck which is why a 1.5 trip was required. Halfway through loading the small lorry, movers received a call to do some moving business at another location. Our items were left by the side of the road and on the grass (see picture). Only half was unloaded, the other half was left in the lorry and carried along for their small side quest. Movers kept saying lorry was returning but waited a total of 1.5 hours before the small lorry returned. The large lorry took another 30minutes. By that time, minimal pieces of furniture was left to load the 14ft, and our king size mattress was used to block the width of the lorry so there’s no way to take picture of the emptiness of the lorry. Also, don’t expect any service recovery, tried to ask nicely, but ignored. Have WhatsApp pictures of the conversation but lazy to screenshot because a lot of longwinded excuses. Just read other people’s 1 star reviews and go in with an open mind. Many companies can move items, but when it comes to your items, ask yourself if you can afford subpar service and mess ups. Good luck. Will get back to update if any service recovery happens. Update: they are more concerned about damage control, offering us $98 to remove the review, but we decided that it’s more impt that people are aware. As usual, they reply to honest 1 star review with excuses and finding their way around technicalities. There is a lack of understanding that it doesn’t matter if there are justifications for poor service. It matters more that customers and their valuables suffered. I however am to be blamed for not gathering additional evidence throughout the ordeal, as they very cleverly pointed out lol. So remember to take your picture evidences everyone! Also forgot to mention, having their movers sit at the back of a caged lorry with heavy furniture inside is very dangerous. And they appear to be enjoying themselves. (Refer to WhatsApp chat)

    Hi Dennis, thank you for sharing your feedback. We respect every customer's right to leave a review, but we'd also like to clarify a few points for future readers. 1. Furniture dumped on the roadside. Your belongings were temporarily placed on the grass verge under our crew's supervision, not abandoned or "dumped". Our team had already pushed the items over 100m from your unit, it wouldn’t make sense to push these items back to your unit while waiting for the lorry, and three workers remained with your belongings throughout. 2. 14ft agreed but 10ft arrived. This is true. A 10ft lorry attended first while the 14ft was on its way. Before any loading began, our experienced crew physically assessed the actual items at your unit and informed you that the move would require approximately 1.5 loads based on the actual moving volume. They then began loading the 10ft while waiting for the 14ft to arrive. 3. Additional load charges The additional half-load charge was based on our crew's on-site assessment of the actual moving volume, not because a 10ft lorry attended first. Our quotations clearly state that charges are pro-rated if the actual moving volume is more or less than estimated. This policy applies consistently to every customer. If the actual moving volume is lower than quoted, we reduce the charges accordingly. Likewise, if the actual moving volume exceeds the original declaration, additional charges apply. 4. They went to another customer's job. After reviewing the matter internally, we can confirm this is false. The driver left only to replace a vehicle part. During this time, our crew remained on-site attending to your belongings, and your move was never abandoned for another customer's job. We acknowledge that the delay and sequence of events understandably caused frustration, and we're sorry your experience did not meet your expectations. At the same time, we believe it's important that reviews accurately reflect what happened. Our intention is not to dismiss your experience, but to provide future customers with the full context behind the events of that day. We have also reviewed the matter internally after your feedback to ensure our understanding of the events is accurate.
