Sometimes in life, we need to pay for another's experience, expertise and knowledge. Today is one such day. My freezer door opened every time the lower door is closed. Two technicians failed to solve the problem. In desperation, I called David from COOL Saviour Engineering. He solved the issue in less than 30 minutes and provided some tips on how to avoid the issue in future. $120 is not cheap, but it resolved the issue. Thank you, David.

11 June 2025: 2nd time I called David. Today he came and without fail helped to clean up and solved my leaky fridge problem. It was 3 years ago that I engaged his services. Still satisfied with his workmanship. He was detailed in the diagnosis and did a thorough cleanup of the fridge. His charges are reasonable and I paid $260 for the repair. Hope this last another few more years before I decommission this fridge of more than 10 years. I suspect newer models will be more efficient in terms of utility consumption but this fella hasn’t given me so much headache yet. Older fridge are easier to repair I think. Last bit he did to the loose insulation was a clean up and he did a final check to slam the doors and tilted up elevation so that doors will close easily. Happy with all that he has done and will recommend those who believes in being green to consider engaging him. Thank you David. 10 Jan 2022 (3.5 years ago): Very satisfied with David’s expertise and efficiency. I have been cleaning up my leaky fridge as it started leaking lots of water at the base and some days it just wet the floor like a big puddle. Given it’s an old fridge 9 years old I was ready to buy a new one when David quoted $25 for transport and later at $230 to repair. Maybe problem won’t be solved thereafter but I decided to go woth him Bec he spent time analyzing the source of leak. He was very helpful n thorough in cleaning up the fridge and polite too. Pleasant surprise when he waived off transport charge when I asked him to proceed with works. On the spot he got down to work and the next day leaking stopped completely! Thank you David. Highly recommended for efficiency n skills.

Recently engaged COOL Saviour Engineering and Mr david attended to our refrigerator as it was not cooling well. It was a wonderful experience to have him work on our fridge issue. Mr David was prompt and professional in his work and overall communication with us was very friendly. He also gave us tips on how to ensure the issue does not happen again and prolong the life of our fridge. He even went beyond the scope to assist on some leakage to the best of his ability. Highly recommended to anyone who has Fridge issues.

Samsung fridge kept tripping the circuit breaker on a Saturday morning. Contacted a few supposedly 24 hours shops but no one responded. David was the first to call back and was able to arrive before 11am. He was friendly, clear on his assessment and costing. He determined that it was the fridge side that is causing the trip and was swift and successful in helping us resolve the problem. I would strongly recommend David.

I called to enquire on behalf of my elderly parents on fridge repair services and Mr David attended to me, he was very professional and patient, I informed him on the brand of the fridge and brief him on the problem As my dad has hearing problem, he was calm in explaining the work needed to repair and the cost to my elderly parents. I had a problem with my fridge. I saw Cool Saviour on Google and contacted David. He was very responsive. He understood my urgency and made his way immediately. He was very experienced. He knew what the issue was and recommended the next steps. He checked the fridge thoroughly and patiently and fixed the problem. He went the extra mile to explain how I should take care of the fridge and also made some adjustments to the base and door of my fridge, which was awesome! His customer service is commendable! David was able to come and fix my fridge on a Sunday with short notice. He was knowledgable and was able to quickly identify the root cause of the issue, he was then able to change the fan/motor in a short period of time - saving a freezer full of food. Furthermore, he went the extra mile and made sure the door, which had previously been partially closing in some circumstances, was operating smoothly. Would highly recommend.

We encountered a fridge's issue on a Saturday night 9.30pm when it started to give way and generated weird sound. We engaged Uncle David Tan and he was super responsive and willing to come to have a look/repair at 10.30pm on the same night. He changed the motor and observed it to work before he left at 11.30pm. We are really grateful for him to give us such a favour to turn up at this hour and given us extra plenty of advices on how to use the fridge and make it more durable, presuming that all my frozen stuffs will spoil if I need to wait till the next day to engage a repair service (I called a few companies and all had turned me down due to the hour of the day). Thank you for your professionalism and above all else favour to think from customer perspective. :)

My refrigerator is not cold. Called David around 10am. 2 hours later, he arrived. He diagnose the refrigerator and quote me $230 which is reasonable as the labor is quite time consuming and he has to change a few parts. This guy really knows what he's doing. Very calm and collective when he work on my refrigerator. He is polite and friendly too. Highly recommended. Now it’s 5pm. I can feel my refrigerator is getting cold both freezer and fridge. Overall, I am happy with the service. Great service at a reasonable service charge!

Due to his good review on fb so we decided to engaged his service to repair our fridge which is not cold. He came in just to open up the fridge door and comment fridge is working well instead of pulling out the fridge to check on it's mechanism issue which lead to our problem. Thereafter, his handphone keep ringing and he was so busy with answering his calls. I understand he's very responsive but he need to know how to priorities his work too. After all his calls he came to ask for his transportation fee of $25. Again I ask him before paying him that really nothing he can do or check. He gave me the same answer that the fridge is working well and no need to service or top up gas. So after paying him $25 he left. As my husband wasn't at home, he followed up with a call to him to ask about the issues. Then David told my husband he want to try changing some parts for the fridge. Just don't understand why David cannot retify the problem when he came over till after he left then came back to my husband saying wanted to change parts for the fridge? We feels like being scam as if he earn his transportation fee $25 and left doing nothing. We just want to create awareness to be careful when engaging his service.

David is a responsive and professional technician. He was able to diagnose the fridge problem and fix it on the spot. Unlike other technicians who charge a diagnostic fee without repair, David provides free diagnosis and then advises on the repair that needs to be done with reasonable rates. He also takes the time to explain what's wrong with your fridge. If you decide not to go ahead with the repair, you only need to pay him the transportation fee. Overall, quite satisfied with David's service. :)

Checked and replaced the starter relay. Professional and fast, with spare parts on hand, even the elusive light bulb. Will recommend as he is polite, approachable, came at appointed time the next day, clean and hygienic. Prices are average, considering his cost of carry, immediate replacement of parts and no fuss repair. (4.5)

It was a pleasure communicating with David. I first reached out to David in Oct 2020 when my fridge broke down. After 10 mins of troubleshooting over phone, David advised me against repair. He didn't charge me then but won me over with his professionalism. I saved his number ever since. Fast forward to 2 March 2022, a friend's fridge broke down. I helped to reached out to David and he advised that it was worth repairing (despite that his fridge older than mine). David came down on the same day at the agreed time, and fixed the issue. My friend was equally impressed by his service and expertise. Thank you, David!

Called David around 10pm for assistance, as my helper suddenly told me that the fridge is not working. I called a few others, all told me they can help only next morning. As I have a fair bit of fresh food inside the fridge, I asked if David can help at such unearthly hours. He gamely say okay and managed to solve it within 1 hour+ (including travel time). Very nice and warm fellow. Happy with the service rendered. Thanks David!!

My mother-in-law's fridge is not cold and the rubber gasket around the fridge door was also badly damaged. Despite my explanation and WhatsApp photos sent, David promptly made an appointment to visit and assess the fridge condition. On day of assessment, David advised fridge was not economically viable for repairs as cost was way beyond buying a new fridge. Hence we took his professional advice and decided to purchase a new fridge. Highly recommended for good , reliable and excellent service attitude. GOD BLESS!

Asked to top up gas as the fridge is not as cold as it was. Told that they do not have gas for Sumsung fridge. I know all fridge s use the same type of coolen /gas.

I contacted the uncle regarding my fridge and ask him if he knows how to resolved this issue. However, he replied he doesn't do this issue. I ask if he knows what is the issue that cause my fridge to have build up of ice. Tho he wasn't paid but he explained to me nicely regarding what could have been the problem and gave me some advice on how to counter the problem. Very nice uncle..
