   Our bedroom door was stuck and would not open. Googled and found De Master Locksmith. Desmond answered the call. He listened to the issue, asked for pictures of the door lock and then assured us that it can be resolved without the need to remove the door or spoil it. He reached within the promised time frame. Although it was quite late at night, he was still very jovial and friendly. The door was unlocked swiftly as he had assured, and he immediately replaced the lock for us. He even sprayed some DW40 on my front door lock on the way out! 😄 Price quoted included transport, fee for unlocking + replacing the lock & the new door lock. We felt it was reasonable, considering the time of the day, the speed he reached and how fast he resolved the issue.

   First time engaged Mr Tang from De Master Locksmith to replace my HDB BTO issued door lock and the experience was pleasant. Spent $150 for the stainless steel lock including installation and even though no warranty but Mr Tang promised for 1 to 1 exchange should any issues arise.    Really solid experince with them, Desmond was so nice, understood the urgency as I had three small kids with me and I was alone. Came within 30 mins, price me so reasonably even though there was complication. Professionalism was there, explain why the lock was such, took time to explain solution.

   Called De Master Locksmith to help open my elderly neighbour's door as her helper was stuck outside for 2 hours with no response from my neighbour. Worried that something might have gone wrong inside, we called the police and De Master Locksmith—but eventually my neighbour opened the door and thankfully nothing was wrong. But De Master Locksmith kindly waived all charges despite the cancellation, which really speaks a lot about their good character. Will definitely call them again if I do need any assistance with locks in the future.

    Got lock outside the house.. Called in to help unlock a door. Very responsive after I sent my address. Waited about 20 mins. The locksmith was very polite'and friendly. Kept reassuring not to worry. Tough lock took almost 1.5 hours.. they decided to take another alternative. finally able to get into the house.. that's the most important to me! phew! good job guys!

    Called in to help unlock a door as I was locked out of my room. Very responsive after I sent my address. Needed to wait quite a while but I was not in the rush so it was alright. The locksmith was very polite and also apologised for being late. The door unlocked in less than 5 minutes and told me that I could call back if there are any problems with the lock. He even gave me some advice for digital locks. Highly recommend.

    My door knob got jammed. It seems to be a common problem with HDB doors in Punggol. Tried calling other locksmiths from the internet first. But, they seem to have no clue abt this issue. So, I called De Master Locksmith & he understood the issue without much explanation. He was also onsite within 15mins. Probably he understood the urgency that my kids were sleeping inside & they were locked with a totally hopeless door knob. Once onsite he opened the knob in about 10 mins & installed a new knob in about another 5 mins. Kudos to him for going the extra mile to ensure that the door knob aligned well with the frame. This shows his commitment to the task that he is handling. Furthermore, he got another call with another door issue (potentially another business - more $$$) but he quickly answered the other caller and got back to my task & spent more time checking the door's knob & its alignment multiple time before he looked at his phone again. Highly recommended.

    The locksmith overcharged us for a service which would have only cost us max 50-70bucks. Including the purchase of the latch. Instead we were charged 120bucks. Moreover, he came only a day later than the scheduled time. Receipt was also without any company stamp or details.

    Received a call on 25/10/2020(Sunday) , from blk 297b compassvale Street, that his fire rated main door latch is broken stucked internally resulted that the main door was not in even able to close intact, as the caller is a tenant of this unit, he need to verify the price 1st and the appointment date in order for the owner to acknowledge, 4pm owner accepted the price and appointment , thus we arrange on the next working day(26/10/2020, 3pm) to carried out the job with both parties aggred, On 26/10/2020, 7pm we received a call from owner to claim that, she found out that she saw on online that a latch that cost fraction of the price she paid us, after verification of the photo she send us through whatsapp, it was not even same items and category, we have responded to her based on what she send us and request her to compare carefully based on what we have install on her fire rated main door, E.G., latches has so many dimension, strength factor, spring force, material grade, country of manufacture to consider before whether is it compatible to install on that particular main door, metal or glass door. Lastly we advise her to made a police report if she want to further pursued.

    Called numerous times and no one has ever picked it up, be it the various hp numbers shown at the shop(no one was there and it was remain closed even at 11am), or the one given from this search.

    Called him at almost midnight as my young daughter n hubby was locked inside the toilet by a faulty door handle. Arrived in 30min. As there was no physical screw point on the outside the door lock has to be broken. He also replaced with a new handle. With the extent of work i would say the charges were reasonable. Highly recommended!

    After waited for almost an hour with numerous call and still haven't come. final call say need another 30mins. In the end cancel cos I felt not reliable in timing. If too long, please say so that I can arrange for another one. Really dissatisfied

    We have not encounter such situation, likewise we have recieved a case that being cancelled after the owner hammer open the lock yesterday, and request the cancellation of locksmith due to the door was break opened, we didn't request for transport fees either.

    Highly recommended Locksmith. Dedicated, genuine and good customer service. Good attitude from young Mr Teng make us feel like it is definitely worth paying them for. Having said that, they also charged reasonable price. Not fussy and super helpful. I hardly seen such young dedicated business owner. He will definitely success in this line of business.
