   Had the tips of my heels replaced and it was done so quickly (done within 30mins) and so well. Thank you so much🙏🏼 Came back today 2 years later to fix the heel tip of my beige shoes. Rebecca and her team were so kind to help me settle this within a day (~3hrs of waiting time to let the glue dry). Thank you

   Brought my brand new Chanel lambskin shoe for sole protection and Tory Burch for repair. After 2h upon collecting the lambskin shoe it looks like I have worn it for months all the creases on the shoes - THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF YOUR SHOES. Worst experience ever at this place. Knowing how delicate the material I’m not expecting nothing to happen but for it to look so worn and full of creases it’s a shock and show how unprofessional they are. To top it off the other shoe I left there for repair, told me when it’s ready they will call. Waited one month before I checked in- first time I called say can’t find the shoes, say will check and call back… silence.. until I called again say it’s not ready. Pressing them to finally get it done within the next week when I collected it - it looks as though they only pasted the sole and nothing else was done to the repairs they say will be part of the price quoted. AVOID at all costs especially if you are sending your brand new shoes as it will look like a super worn one after 2h and risk losing your shoes/lousy repair work. No accountability nor professionalism. Update: shoe sole opened up less than 3 months I sent it for repair. Serious quality issue

   Dear Ms Goh, Thank you for your feedback. As a long-standing family business, we take all customer concerns seriously. However, we would like to clarify the facts regarding your visit to our shop, as your review does not accurately reflect what transpired, our receipt, or our communication records. Regarding your first pair (Chanel Lambskin): You requested a half sole and heel protection. We completed this within 2 hours. Because lambskin is an exceptionally soft and delicate leather, we handled it with the utmost care and immediately placed the shoes back into their box once the sole and heel were done. When you collected them on the same day, you inspected the shoes and did not raise any issues regarding creases or damage. Regarding your second pair (Tory Burch): First, we want to address your claim that we did not call you and were silent. Our WhatsApp records clearly show that we messaged you on March 9th at 10:24 PM to inform you that Order #71129 was ready for collection, to which you replied the next morning confirming you would come on Friday. We apologize if the repair took longer than expected, but we did communicate with you once they were ready. Regarding the repair work itself: As clearly stated and priced on your receipt, you paid for three specific structural repairs for this pair: 1) Patch toe, 2) Full glue, and 3) Half sole. All of these structural repairs were fully completed. When you brought these shoes in, they were already heavily worn with significant scuffing at the toe. When you came to collect them, you were unhappy that the toe was still scuffed. We explained that "color restoration and touch-up" is an entirely separate service that was neither discussed, quoted, nor paid for on your receipt. Despite this, out of goodwill and to ensure your satisfaction, our cobbler went ahead and did the color touch-up for you on the spot at no extra charge. It is disappointing to hear that despite this complimentary service, you remain dissatisfied. We have proudly served our customers at Far East Plaza for many years by being honest and transparent about our repair scopes and pricing.

   Resoled my Blacksmith Red Wings. Converted them to Vibram mini lugs which required an additional midsole. Took about 3 weeks. Have to say craftsmanship was great, stitching looked neat. Heels were nailed down nicely. Cost around $190 for midsole plus mini lugs, hope it lasts another 5 years.

   Went to Shukey for advice on reinforcing my new leather Prada shoes and was so impressed by their honesty and warmth. They took the time to explain that because the sole is synthetic, it made more sense to just wear the shoes normally and only return when the sole is actually damaged, rather than doing unnecessary work now. Rebecca was especially lovely. She even conditioned the leather for me with such care, which I really appreciated. Great authentic energy, knowledgeable advice, and you can tell they know their craft. I’ll definitely be back.

   Zero star if permitted. My new Fendi sandals are as good as destroyed. Workmanship sucks now. And you can see the way he cut up my sandals. Atrocious and terrible. Done by the counter uncle. Last time used to be rather ok workmanship. Please do not patronise!!! Unless you want to throw away your new shoes. Please close shop and don’t damage people’s shoes as your age is catching up. I still pay them SGD50. My new sandals cost SGD1200 hand carried from France. Now as good as money throw into the sea.

   Poor just poor ! I got my Ferragamo fronds shoes mended replacing them with a brand new pair of leather soles — AND THEY CAME OFF in a month(???) in the middle of nowhere…. Besides the fact this is embarrassing in public, I’m very concerned of what’s gonna happen to the next two pairs. A total of ~550$ spent on just shoe soles . I’m going back to MR MINIT. For decades they never failed me

   I didn’t actually get a service but I am rating it well due to the honesty and professionalism shown. I walked in with a pair of mules where the insole came off the heels to see if they were repairable. They were very frank and said that due to the construction of the shoe the best they could do was glue it back but even then it won’t last, and they’d be charging for it. It was very good that I was given a choice whether to proceed with the repair when they could have just accepted the job and then made me pay for it without me knowing better.

    This is not my first time visiting this shop. They always gave excellent services. This round, he repaired my sling bag zip, gave wonderful advises, and postponed the changing of the zip to save some money for now. Most important, he didn't charge me for his service. Thank you.     If you want peace of mind knowing your shoes are in good hands, this is the place to go. Repairs are done with great care and true professionalism. Despite how busy they are, the staff still take the time to be warm and welcoming. I was even treated to a slice of homemade pandan chiffon cake—absolutely delicious!

    I passed two pairs of shoes heels to be fixed one month ago, one pair was fine but the heel of the other pair dropped off after I walked in it twice. I went back to ask today if they can re do the one heel that dropped off, however the boss and his staff requested to see the other shoe before they could decide if they can fix it on a complimentary basis. To conclude, I decided to pay the $5 for the repair of one side of my shoe because I don’t wish to argue with a business that thinks so lowly of their customers.

    Stay away from this place if you value your goodyear welted shoes/boots. Came in for wedge sole conversions for my iron rangers. Asked them twice if they can do it, they said yes. Took long, thats ok but the results are utterly terrible. Literally made my $500 boots unwearable. Shoddy stitching, cant even nail the heels properly, ruined the welt by terrible and uneven sanding. Ruined the shape of the boots. Unbelievable that they can call themselves cobblers. Boggles my mind how redwing sg can even recommend them. Take a look at the images and be warned.

    Rebecca provided truly sincere and genuine service. We walked in randomly after dinner looking for an insole to help with heel pain. Not only did she recommend a suitable one, but she also offered helpful tips and solutions. We were very impressed and happy with her assistance—she clearly cares about helping others.

    First time to visit to have my son’s shoes’ zippers fixed, it was a little tricky and they spent some time thinking of a solution. “The best fix is the one that does not cost any.” - they said. They tried the simplest solution and did not ask us for any payment in return. They even gave candies to me and my daughter.

    This is the first time I alter my bag and I decided to give them a 5 stars. Rebecca is awesome and super friendly. I brought in my old Longchamp sling to alter the straps and she is more than willing to help us and definitely did not feel disinterested. She quoted me a very resonable price and can be done in a super short time frame (45mins). Beside helping to make sure the length is perfect she also helped me to sew an open stitch which I didnt notice it at all. With no extra charge. Awesome job done! I am definitely coming back to them again if I need any alteration to be done or shoe repair. Thank you!

    Duplicate keys there. First time experience was alright, so went second time. Second time experience was very bad, the key wasn’t smooth, it got stuck inside the key hole and can’t take out. Have to engage lock-smith to change the entire lock!

    Rebecca was awesome! I brought in a relatively low value leather item to get her help for alteration, and she definitely did not seem disinterested / attempting to charge a price she’d for other more branded leather items. She was very genuine in helping me figure a suitable length, and then quoting me a very reasonable price to get it done. Very pleased with the end result! 100% will recommend anyone, including my future self to come back.
