I hired The Clean Men for a post-renovation cleaning service, and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the overall results. To be fair, the formaldehyde removal service was fine, and I did not have any major issues with that aspect of the service. However, when it came to the cleaning itself, several areas were left unclean and they had to come back for a second round of cleaning. Given the company’s genuinely good Google reviews and the fact that their service is on the pricier side, I expected a much higher standard of cleaning. One particular issue was the balcony area, where there were visible white stains on the floor, apparently from rainwater. I specifically highlighted this to them and asked if they could clean it. When they returned for the second time, I was told that the stains could not be removed because they were oxidised stains caused by rainwater and sun exposure. However, I decided to try removing them myself by scrubbing, and was able to remove the stains. I have attached before-and-after photos for reference. There was also a failure to properly clean the TV/settee wall, as shown in the attached video, which was another area they had to return to address. I understand that post-renovation cleaning can be challenging and that some stains may genuinely be difficult to remove. However, in this case, I felt that the initial cleaning was not thorough enough, and some explanations given for why certain areas could not be cleaned did not match my own experience when I tried cleaning them myself. Overall, I expected more from The Clean Men, especially considering the price and the positive reviews I had seen before engaging them. Unfortunately, while the formaldehyde removal was satisfactory, my overall experience with the cleaning service did not live up to my expectations.

Highly recommend Eric and his team of 4 for their excellent cleaning service. They did a very thorough job and made sure everything was properly cleaned, from the floors to the windows. What we especially appreciated was that they went above and beyond by helping to shift our items and even assist with discarding some things, even though it was not within their job scope. Their help and willingness to go the extra mile were truly appreciated. The floor is now very smooth and spotless after the cleaning. My dad and aunt have also engaged Eric previously and had great experiences as well, which gave us extra confidence in choosing them. Thank you to Eric and the team for the great work!

Deserves more than 5 stars! We hired The Clean Men to fix a botched post-reno clean from another company. Despite us having already moved in, Eric and his team moved furniture around to ensure a thorough deep clean. They successfully removed stubborn cement stains and dirt on the floors that we'd been living with for a week. Fast, reassuring, and the floors are now perfect!

Both me and my hubby engaged TheCleanMen for our deep cleaning, post reno cleaning and formaldehyde removal service. As we have a lot of carpentry in our house, we have decided to opt for their service after seeing so many good reviews from other customer (: We loved how there were clear run through of the entire cleaning process and if we have any questions we can raise it to Eric straightaway. Very friendly and professional👍☺️ Definitely will recommend them to anyone seeking professional cleaning services! Thank you once again!! 🏠❤️ -Eileen & Lucien 21.03.26

I had a very good experience with Eric and his team. The house was super sparkly and clean after the post- reno cleaning. Eric did a walkthrough with me before and after the cleaning. There was some stains which were a little tough to remove on my vanity mirror (it was already there when i purchased it). However Eric’s team managed to get most of it out. Truly grateful for their efficient service!

I engage Eric’s team for post renovation cleaning. Communication with Eric was pleasant. He is courteous and friendly. He accommodated me on a last minute change in timing due to my renovation delay. They send a team of 4 pax to my home and did a fantastic job within 5 hours. Every inches of the house were properly done. I like the way they clean and steam the window ledges and hinges. They were sparkling clean like new! Will recommend to all.

Post-reno deep cleaning, formaldehyde removal & floor scrubbing. They even steam & wipe our zipblind! Would love to see the outcome of the floor coating but not possible as our renovation were delayed & furnitures are in by then. Nonetheless these 6 young chaps helmed by Eric were awesome! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It was a seamless process to engage them. Eric was responsive towards all the enquiry that I had. The team on site was immaculate and paid a great deal towards details. My neighbourhood currently has 2 BTO projects ongoing and you can imagine the amount of dust accumulated. I wish i had taken the before photo to show what a great job they did! Thank you so much for making my windows all sparkly and dust free!

Initially I had engaged another cleaning company but that was a letdown as they had postponed and subsequently no-showed me. Thankfully, Eric and his team of dedicated guys from The Clean Man came to my rescue despite the very last minute arrangement pre-cny! Great job well done and they managed to clean the whole house within the time frame I gave them and during handover, Eric ran through thoroughly with me every corners. If pre-work is required, it is immediate without delay. Just see the pictures (esp the windows before clean at the bottom and after clean on top) and the deep floor cleaning, very pleased with the outcome! Strongly recommend with heartfelt thanks to The Clean Man.

Review for CleanMen (Post-Reno Deep Cleaning + Formaldehyde Removal) I engaged CleanMen for my post-renovation deep cleaning and formaldehyde removal service on 21 Jan 2026, and I’m really happy with the experience. This was my first time doing formaldehyde treatment, and I honestly didn’t know that the chemical needed to be wiped off afterward. Unfortunately, my schedule was packed and I didn’t have time to handle it. When Eric heard my concern, he immediately offered to come down and wipe off all the chemical for me as a goodwill gesture — which helped me a lot and gave me real peace of mind. The main reason I booked deep cleaning was because I didn’t want my parents to clean until they were exhausted, and Eric’s help truly made a big difference. Overall, the team was great, and my house is now super clean. Highly recommended!

Engaged The Clean Men for post-renovation cleanup and I’m extremely impressed with their service. The team was professional, punctual, and very thorough. Due to some hiccup in my renovation schedule, they are willing to accomodate our request. They managed to remove all the fine renovation dust, stains, and debris, leaving the place spotless and move-in ready. Great attention to detail and very efficient. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable post-reno cleaning service!

Renovation delayed, thus cleaners tried their best to clean the house while some works were still ongoing. Shortfalls in cleaning due to no supervision and many areas missed out, though not 100% to be blamed on them. Instead of running away from the issue, Eric actually acknowledged and took responsibility by sending the men back for 2 more days to recitfy all the issues. This is a great service recovery and deserves a praise. At the end of the day, all areas are now cleaned with proper supervision when we were at site this time.

Just got Clean Men to do my post-reno clean and wah, solid sia. House dusty until cannot make it after reno, but they came in all well-prepared Windows, tracks, grilles — all clean until can see reflection. Cabinets also wipe until smell damn fresh. Kitchen hood, hob, table top all deep clean properly. Even the small small details they never miss. The whole place now super clean, can move in already. Service also very friendly and professional. No need to keep repeating instructions — they know what to do. Overall, worth it . Confirm will recommend to my friends who just finish reno. Good job, Clean Men! 👍🏼

Engaged them for post-reno cleaning because my contractors did minimal (almost zero) cleaning for us. The service exceeded my expectations! The staff were very meticulous and many times were seen on their literal hands and knees scrubbing grime off our tiles :") They were also kind enough to help us unpack and move our large appliances so that we can get the house really clean and free of dusty boxes. They were super on the ball with their touch ups too, and helped to go through some spots again without any hesitation. Altogether after the MANUAL stain/cement removal, then vacuum, then floor scrub, then mop, and one MORE round of manual stain/cement removal, my floors are all clean 😍

Great work by the clean men!

This is by far the worst experience I have engaging a professional cleaner for post renovation cleaning up. The quality of work was bad, basic cleaning and dusting was incomplete. Staff engaged for this service spent time outside smoking rather than doing actual work. When shared with the owner, Eric, his attempt to resolve the situation was feeble. His staff came back two weeks after with 1 MagicClean liquid bottle and a few rag clothes and did an even more pathetic job of a touch up. Footage of one of the staff engaging in idle conversation while under pretext of cleaning. Could clearly see they were not there to get the job done, just to shut my mouth Terrible service, poor work quality. Exorbitant charges of over $800. Hire at your own risk.
