Not satisfied with the aftersales service and technical support!! Engaged Titan to relocate my existing cameras and NVR to my new place, because the old setup was done by Titan and the intention was to engage the same team to do the job with their own products. My new place's network and LAN cables are done by my reno electrician, all LAN cables terminated with LAN ports at the designated server area, for future network and CCTV integration. All LAN ports tested with no issue. Titan understood the new place setup, and agreed to take up the task to do configuration and add 1 new door bell camera. Old cameras were installed by the electrician, and Titan came in and added LAN cables from the new LAN ports connecting to the old NVR, and proceeded with the configuration. My aim is to be able to view the cameras via the handphone App. Upon the first trip, Titan found 2 old cameras not showing up in the App through the NVR, Titan brought the cameras back to test and feedback that the 2 cameras are faulty and quoted me a new price to supply 2 new cameras and redo the configuration. I was not warned upfront that the camera relocation will post high risks of faulty and only by this time I was told the cameras could be quite sensitive during relocation. Nevertheless I accepted the proposal, and paid full fees upfront for new cameras and reconfiguration. Upon the second trip, my place has total 8 cameras all installed, including 5 old cameras, 2 new cameras and 1 new door bell camera. Titan did the NVR configuration again, and the 8 cameras were showing up in the App. However, not long later the same day, the NVR became offline. Titan advised to reboot the system and just keep trying to switch on/off the NVR, which is not helpful. My network/router/switch have no issue as my other iot are running well. I'm unable to view the cameras through the App, and sometimes can view a few cameras but others will be showing as Offline. Later I was advised to check the LAN cables and by switching to other LAN cables the situation is still not fully resolved. After repeating my concerns for 10 days, Titan came back again to check the system and still unable to resolve the issue. The technician's attitude was rude and questioned what did I do to the setup in an angry tone, he then called the office and complained over the phone. I was startled as never expect this kind of service. Then the office called me back to understand the situation, the technician later just stomp off with his stuffs and did not even inform me about his departure, the boss later claimed that the technician had to rush off for another job. The situation is bad, my problem is not resolved, and Titan later called me and suspected the NVR was faulty and proposed to change a new NVR. I expressed my concern that the whole troubleshooting procedure was not done properly nor thoroughly, Titan keep mentioning their schedule was tight, and already tried their best to squeeze in time to drop by, but to me this is ridiculous if the works were not carried out properly in the first place, regardless of how many trips you made. I have demanded refund or partial refund to end this drama, but Titan refused as to them the new cameras have been installed. Titan proposed to test with another NVR, subjected to their availability. At this juncture, I believe even a new NVR could solve the technical issues, in the future the communication for after sale services or technical support will be a huge hustle. It is a total disappointment for me to waste money and time on Titan. Strongly advise to others to think twice before engaging Titan for their service.

I bought a Hik Vision CCTV camera from them. The purchase and installation was good. However, I came to find out that their after sales service was nonexistent. They would not give a single advice over the phone or WhatsApp. Every query was met with an answer, “we will go down to your place for $120.” I will never purchase a single item from them again.

When troubleshooting is required, there is a fixed charge of $120 per visit, as remote support is not provided. Assistance is often delayed or unresponsive unless a technician is dispatched on-site. This places clients in a difficult position, as the CCTV system cannot be restored without an on-site visit, resulting in additional transport and service costs. Furthermore, when invoices are requested, responses can take months, if they come at all. Based on my experience, communication appears to be prompt only when payment is involved. The system is highly rigid and dependent on physical intervention for any issues, making it inconvenient and costly for users. I would advise potential clients to carefully consider these limitations before engaging this vendor, or to explore alternative solutions that offer more flexible and reliable support.
