Alco Sunshade installed and has been maintaining and repairing my patio awning for the past 8 years. Every interaction with the staff has been very positive. The installation and maintenance workers are punctual, and work quickly & efficiently. The admin staff Ms Zhenyi who schedules appointments is also very friendly and professional. Kudos also goes out to Mr Edison who is professional, yet empathetic and really has his customer's wellbeing in mind. Their level of customer service is a rare gem to find in Singapore and I will highly recommend Alco to anyone who needs sunshades/awning.

This is my second experience with ALCO. 2 years ago they replaced all my retractable awnings and did a great job. I recently engaged them again for new polycarbonate awnings. Pricing wise, I found ALCO's pricing to be transparent and fair (I obtained other quotes). Workmanship wise, they have an experienced crew and the project was completed efficiently and quality was better than I expected. ALCO is honestly underrated and I definitely recommend them.

I recently contacted Alco Sunshade to install an awning in my condo unit. Within a day, Andy Lin from their staff called me, and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. Andy quickly assessed my needs and determined the best solution. Given the large size of my balcony, two separate sections of awning are needed. Additionally, custom metal and plastic covers were designed and fabricated to ensure complete protection from the rain. The following day, I received a detailed quote for the work. After agreeing on the terms, the entire job was completed in less than two weeks. I want to commend the workers for their excellent craftsmanship and the high-quality materials used. I also want to praise Andy for his very prompt services and keen understanding of the situation. Although there was a minor issue due to an unforeseen gap, Andy swiftly addressed it by sending his team to rectify the problem, making the job nearly perfect. My balcony is now fully sheltered and dry. I highly recommend Alco Sunshade and Andy Lin for anyone needing awning installation services.

I contacted Alco for a quotation after checking out a few other companies providing sunshades. The response was quick. We had some ideas but needed a fair amount of advice to decide on the best option for our backyard and balcony. Andy, who was assigned to us, listened and provided advice on a realistic option. We lack technical expertise on what can be done to create a visually pleasing and comfortable structure, but were guided patiently through the various ideas. The installation was co-ordinated with the work groups effectively. The workmen worked well with him and it was all completed as efficiently as possible despite the rainy season delays. Andy’s interaction with us had been professional and reassuring which is very much appreciated since we have never built an extension before. Constant communication and keeping us abreast of the little details that the workmen encounter during installation provided the assurance that things are being handled properly. Showing up onsite at the end of each day during the installation provided additional comfort. Thanks for the great experience.

I hired Alco Sunshade to install 2 polycarbonate roof extensions on the ground floor of my home. After evaluating 3 companies, they came up as the most responsive, professional and willing to compromise. They started as they said they would, sent a larger than expected crew, completed ahead of schedule and the quality of work was very good. I highly recommend them. Will be using more of them in the future.

Used their services for replacement of my polycarbonate roofing of my trellis to an aluminium composite panel. Installed an outdoor vertical blind at the side and also a fixed side cover. Dealt with Andy whom is direct and professional. He arranged a 2 men team with experience and good workmanship to handle the job which completed in a day. Most importantly, price was reasonable. Retractable awning became lopsided within the first year. Ask if warranty covers it, they said wind strong, not covered. Ask why my Neighbour a 10 meters away don’t have this problem, say different wind direction/speed etc Charge me $80 to adjust. I ask, will this happen every year? They replied maybe. I gave up, said I’ll pay. No response from sales rep for 2 weeks, I follow up no response again. Long story short, got someone else to come and do it for me. Immediate response, even when I didn’t install it from them, wasn’t more expensive too… Avoid at all cost, quality is bad, after sales is bad.

We had engaged Alco via our reno contractor. Schedule always postponed and the awning worksmanship is poor, my yard awning has BIG leaking during raining day. Call for repair also need to request several times. NOT recommended to hire their service.

We engaged Alco Sunshade to do our roofing through our ID. The Sales Manager in charge of our project was Eric Yeo. Alco did a really poor job with the roof. After 2-3months, the roof leaked and the steel bars that were used to hold the roof up started to rust! We tried many times to schedule an appointment with Eric and his team but he always found many excuses to delay the repair works (e.g. he said the vehicle broke down for a 11am appt, then when we said he could come later that day in the afternoon, there was still no show). We are very disappointed and frustrated with the irresponsibility, lack of professionalism and poor service. Hence, we would definitely NOT recommend Alco Sunshade to any of our family, friends and relatives. It is such a shame that an established company will produce such poor quality work and employ such unprofessional staff.

My first experience (in Jan 2019) with Andy Lin is superb, very proactive and friendly despite my demanding request and his busy schedule. Strongly recommended. My second experience (in May 2019) with Andy Lin is his excellent service and his swift response in rendering the replacement of old retractable awning (with competitive pricing too) at another site.

Came do 1st measurement then no sound no pic... After sometime ask Eric, say misplaced measurement. Need retake measurement. 2nd measurement retake still no sound no pic of quotation. Finally decided to engage them do and ask quotation, Eric say need fix appt come down do final 3rd measurement on 16/10 @ 1130hrs. Waited till 12noon no sound no pic... Called Eric and just say sorry he busy and need fix another appt. Super irresponsible. Only you all busy? We very free stay at home wait for you to come? Hello, its with appt and we had to take leave!! What is appt made and no show saying busy? Will never recommend this irresponsible company.
