I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joseph Pang for making a trip to site survey my condo unit due to water seepage issue , he made time, shared his professional views and experience with me patiently Unfortunately I did not proceed with him as I have a budget to work on, but still worthy to take my time off putting down this review for his kindness , not pushy, not a hard seller , follows up appropriately, and still remain professional when job not awarded.

Jamus has been patient and very helpful in identifying the cause of water leakage issue, professionally explaining to my neighbour why the leakage is not due to other causes as well as how to remediate or fix the leakage. I was initially having challenges to arrange for a common time slot for both units to be inspected for inter floor leakage and Jamus is kind enough to allow for flexibility once I get a timeslot. Much appreciate his help and services. Thank you so much !

Joseph came to inspect the crack and bubbles in my living room ceiling, as well as the gaps between the shower cubicle tiles.. He was meticulous in his investigation and used a device to check for moisture in the affected areas. The ceiling repair work and tile re-grouting were done the following week. When there were still some visible bubbles in the ceiling, the work was duly rectified. Thank you, Joseph for your diligence and for being communicative throughout the whole process. Hydro-Seal Engineering would be my go-to if I had any water-seepage or ceiling issues.

I faced concrete spalling on my ceilings, which had become porous. The Hydro Seal team repaired the affected areas professionally: they dug out and removed the damaged concrete, injected a polyurethane solution to prevent water infiltration, then replastered and repainted the surface. The whole job was completed in just a couple of hours. I would highly recommend their services.

Like to share my delightful experience with the service rendered by Joseph. I sent an enquiry vis iCondo apps and got response immediately that Joseph would contact me which he did. Appointment was made to come to the site to do an inspection. Despite me telling him that the painting contractor (under contract to repaint the entire estate) just came for an inspection including fixing the water seepage issues, Joseph did not feel discouraged that his service might not be needed anymore. He spent about 30 mins to inspect my house including the rooftop offering invaluable advices for me. His service focused attitude is incredible. It leaves a deep positive impression with me!

Update in 2025: we encountered another leaking issue and was assigned to have Zhen Hui come down for a site inspection. He provided an insightful and thorough diagnosis and was very honest with his solutions proposed. To be frank, we also asked another company to diagnose our leaking and in comparison, Zhen Hui was much more meticulous and could spot the actual source of the leak better. Twice I’ve consulted with Hydroseal with separate engineers and both times I’ve benefited from the site visits with honest and transparent proposals. Posted 2022: We came across Hydroseal through Google while looking for waterproof contractors for our house and was put in touch with Alan. He conducted a very thorough site inspection and concluded that it wasn’t a leak issue that we had. Despite of this, he took time to give us his own expertise and detailed instructions as to how we can tackle the problem. Contractors always get a bad rep and we were initially nervous about randomly googling for contractors online so we are extremely thankful to have found an honest and genuine one in Alan. We didn’t get to engage Hydroseal’s services this time, but we will definitely keep them in mind for future use and will recommend them to anyone we know. Thanks Alan!

Super helpful and professional! I was looking for a waterproofing solution for my roof terrace, and totally bewildered by all the choices in the market. Joseph was the only one who explained what each waterproofing method was and whether it’s suitable for my use case (lots of potted plants). He even explained how I should be thinking about my problem, doing a ponding test and assessing where the issue is before doing any work. All this in an obligation site visit/consultation. Highly highly recommended!!

Contacted hydro seal for a visual inspection after another waterproofing company mia on me. Hydro seal is very responsive. Their inspection specialist Joseph contacted me promptly and an appointment for site inspection was set easily. On the day itself he was punctual and helpful and went through the extra miles to ensure that all possible visual inspection test was done to try to conclude all possible source of leakage. He was emphatic and explain everything in such a way that you can understand. Will definitely engage them if I need fixing for water leakage issues. Highly recommended to all!

Water had been leaking into my downstairs neighbours house Contacted Hydroseal and was attended to by Joseph. Was advised to first do a water seepage test to first ascertain if the water is indeed leaking from my unit. Once it was determined, Joseph reccomended the PU treatment to stop the leakage. Throughout the engagement, Joseph had been very helpful, objective and impartial. Even when the source of the leak was identified to be from my house, Joseph recommended just 1 out of 2 possible treatments instead of pushing me to do both at once. Much appreciated. All that remains now is to see if the actual rectification work is effective. But great experience for me so far!

Have contacted Joseph from hydroseal previously regarding a leak in my toilet. Joseph was fast to respond and came down on the day itself for site evaluation. Thereafter, he found the issue and gave a fix at a reasonable price. Soon enough, the work was scheduled and completed very promptly! Repair was done meticulously and efficiently. Joseph has been very professional and detail in attempting to detect the leak and seepage problems at various areas of our property. No effort is spared in digging into corners and suspected areas including climbing to the level above ceiling via access panels to spot almost invisible water droplet on the joint of pipe, dried water marks and white color dried material oozed out from gaps and joints along bondeck etc. He spent a considerable long hours to study possible water seepage from cracks on walls, open balcony and window sills too. Never have we come across such detailed site detection. It is amazing! Thank you very much Joseph!

Very professional work from hydro seal , my roof had leaking problems for years, many other contractors had failed to fix it. But hydro seal managed to fix them. They uphold the warranty as well, they came few times to repair after initial persistent issues until its fully resolved. 👍👍
