We are extremely happy with the roof repair and painting work completed on our house. We had been experiencing roof leaks for some time, and the team thoroughly inspected the roof before carrying out the repairs. Since the repairs were completed, we have had no further leakage issues. The exterior repainting has made an incredible difference to the overall appearance of our home. The house looks almost brand new. The crew was professional, courteous, and always willing to answer our questions. Thank you for the excellent service and quality workmanship. We would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends

I was not satisfied with the quality of the work or the level of professionalism. I expected much better service and would advise others to carefully review all agreements before proceeding.

After consulting 3 companies, we decided on TRS for roof replacement and external painting because Marc and his foreman Muhammad were very thorough in the initial inspection and subsequently provided a quotation that was detailed and transparent. Throughout the works, the TRS team led by Ohid was not only skilled and experienced, but the roofers like Ruhul and Nanhu also conducted themselves professionally and were meticulous and neat in their work. Marc was very approachable and responsive to queries and he provided regular updates and photographs of the progress of the work. We are very satisfied with the results. Kudos to Marc, Muhammad, Ohid and the team for a job well done.

We have been constantly plagued with roof (RC and ACP roof) leakage issues for the last 2 years. Even after going through 2 supposedly 'reputable' companies, the service and expertise they provided was less than desirable and the teething issues still remained. After much painful searching, I decided to take a gamble and contacted KB Tay Roofing Contractors for help. Mr Richard Tay was very responsive and promptly arranged for an on-site assessment the very next day. Mr Marc Tay and Mr Mohd Quddus showed up and after a thorough inspection of my roofs, they proposed a solution. They were patient, professional, and clearly explained the underlying issues and their proposed scope of work. I decide to bite the bullet and engaged their services ... turns out to be the right choice ! Throughout the 5 day project duration, all the workers (especially Mr Ohid) were punctual, polite, professional and very meticulous in their work. They also put in great effort to keep the work area as clean as possible and stored their equipment neatly and tidily before leaving. While time may be the best judge on whether my problems have been finally resolved, this experience has been extremely positive and i could not have been happier ! Without a doubt, a highly recommended and professional roofing contractor in my opinion ... keep up the good work! 😁👍

A very good team of workers who work tirelessly to completing their work on time and well. They have ensured that the end product was done to the satisfaction of it's owners and have shown pictures of the ongoing work .done. While I have previously engaged contractors/designers to service my HDB masionette, this team of workers have left a deep impression on service etiquette and excellence. This is the 21st service quality that Singapore is striving towards. Very well done. Congratulations!!

Very happy with the roofing service provided by the Roofing Specialist! I have contacted at least 3 different roofing companies to fix my HDB Maisonette roof. Some companies either didn’t reply my messages or gave a quotation that is twice of what Roofing Specialist quoted me. As mine was a HDB Maisonette roof, I’d reckoned that not many companies would want to take on my request to clean, paint and block off a section of my roof. Moreover, I couldn’t find any information online on people who have similar requests as mine. However, Marc from Roofing Specialists was the only one who was very responsive, gave reasonable quotation and followed through the request. The workers from Roofing Specialists were also more experienced compared to other companies who came for site visiting based on my conversations with them. Now, my roof is clean and most importantly, the hole underneath the roof where pigeons like to hide and pooped in has been blocked off! I’d recommend roofing specialist to anyone who wants to fix their roof issues!

I decided to get a quote from Roofing Specialists after seeing the excellent work they did on my neighbour’s roof. Marc responded to my enquiry very promptly, and the work started as planned without delay. His team was highly professional and clearly knowledgeable in what they were doing. Marc also sent photos updating me the progress and work done which is much appreciated. My roof tiles and lightning conductors are now securely fixed. The workers also patched external floor cracks, repaired loose tiles, and carried out painting works for all exterior areas, including the meter boxes. The paintwork is beautifully done. I am very pleased and satisfied with the overall workmanship and service. Thank you Marc, Mohd & his team of excellent workers. Highly recommended for roofing, awning & painting works.

It was truly a "wow" experience seeing the completed work done by The Roofing Specialist (TRS). I engaged TRS to resolve a leaking issue in one of my rooms as well as the problem of balcony water overflowing into the rooms. Marc provided relevant and practical recommendations. Most importantly, his team - including Mohammad (overall manager), Ruhul (site supervisor), and their experienced workers - delivered excellent workmanship. I am very impressed by their work attitude, professionalism, and the pride that they take in what they do. I highly recommend TRS to anyone in need of roofing services.

After seeing signs of roof leakage, I contacted the Roofing Specialist and Marc reverted with a detailed waterproofing plan. Marc was clear with his explanation and communication about how the work would be carried out. His roofing technicians were also very professional and thorough with their job. The waterproofing was completed within the planned period and most importantly, look at the beautiful work that they have done. Now my family and I can rest well and assured with a good roof over our heads again. Thank you to Marc and his team. This is a roofing specialist that you can trust.

Very satisfied with the work done by The Roofing Specialist. They could immediately start work the next day after coming down to the site to view the change needed. The workmanship is good and the workers cleaned up each day of the work place including the neighbours' area where they placed their equipment in the day. They were careful and meticulously covered up my backporch floor area where my washing machine and other belongings were when fixing the awning which provided protection as it did rain very heavily over one of the nights. There were also careful about not dirtying the neighbors' walls and ensured proper covers and protective boards were used. Overall, a good experience and highly recommend their roofing services.

Recommended to me by ChatGPT for roof repair and painting. Marc, the young and capable boss listened to my concerns and gave a recommendation on the job scope. Very pleasant experience from getting the quote to job completion. The workmen were polite, professional and skilled. I liaised mostly with Farid, who was a gem. He understood the assignment and carried out the task efficiently with his team. ChatGPT was right in recommending The Roofing Specialist(TRS) 💪

Best in class, solid team. Though Marc visited the site frequently, the team is very independent, very experiences and willing to share their views. A job well executed, definitely will recommend to others though hope I don't need his service again haha. Happy that no more waterfall in my room. Adding some before and after photos.

Good job by the team. They finished up their work professionally and I only hope all other contractors behave to this same level of professionalism. And my biggest compliment to Ohid.

I'd highly recommend The Roofing Specialist for anyone needing their roofs done! - There was a major storm that damaged the polycarbonate roofing in my airwell and rain started gushing into my home. I immediately started sourcing for roofers and sent out many quotations. Within 2 hours, Marc was at my home, quoted a fair price compared to 5 other contractors and scaffolding was up quickly within hours while the rains continued. His team sealed the roof to keep the on going rain out and took time to source the right polycarbonate panels that I needed. The installation done on the new roof looked very professional and clean. Very happy about that as well as have peace of mind with the warranty they gave. Besides that, he also helped to write an assessment report for my insurance and was very communicative, offering sound advice as well as a solid team. Very glad I went with him. Overall I'd definitely use The Roofing Specialist again for my roofing needs! Highly recommended!

I am so thankful to find The Roof Specialist (TRS) through Google maps like some of the Google reviewers. For my case, I had suspected the previous contractor did a shoddy work as that contractor came a few times during the 3-year warranty period to perfunctorily fix my leaky roof around the skylight area e.g. by sending 1 worker up to my roof to seal the skylight panel for like 1 hour. However, root cause of the leak was not addressed so our ceiling around the skylight cracked and worsened during the 3 year warranty period. After the warranty period ended, we decided to look for another roof contractor. During the March 2025 monsoon season, my husband and I decided to ask TRS to come for onsite inspection and propose a solution for our leaky roof. Marc, Ovid and another worker came. Ovid is a very experienced senior roofer / supervisor. The team proposed to change the skylight panel and re-do water proofing. TRS team is, of the view, that my metal roof panels are still ok and do not need to be changed. After talking to TRS team, we take comfort that they are experts in this field and have proposed a possible good solution so we did not ask for any other quotes. Subsequently, Marc provided a very reasonable quote and we decided to engage them. Marc provided the date of the roof work after 50% payment. The roof works started on 7 April and the assignment was originally scheduled to take up to 1 week but the works were completed within 3 days as they brought in 1 more worker on the last day. They recommended changing to a sturdier and better quality sky light panel. They did water proofing works and also repair my interior ceiling on the third floor, and my car porch ceiling and side wall. Now my ceilings and wall look as good as new. The previous roof contractor did not even bother to repair my third floor ceiling. I am very pleased with the work delivered by TRS. TRS team also confirmed my suspicion of shoddy work done previously. If you need any roof repair works, look no further - just reach out to The Roof Specialist team. The team is meticulous and provides regular updates and honest recommendations on the works to be done based on their expert knowledge. Ovid and his team are punctual, polite and professional. They even washed my car porch after repairing my car porch ceiling and wall. Thank you TRS team for your quality work and service. 👍🏻👍🏻

Apr24:I was looking for a contractor to fix my driveway and patio shelters which would leak when the rain is particularly heavy. Walls which were spalding and to basically give my entire facade ( 3 stories) a fresh coat of paint after 1.5 decades. I got into contact with a few but only The Roofing specialist Marc and his colleague Mohammed gave me a reasonable quote and suggestion to KEEP my current wooden structural supports instead of replacing it with galvanized iron as the wood was still in relatively good condition and can last many years. They suggested to sand down and revarnish it as well as provide the driveway shelter wooden structure with additional bracing to assuage my father's concern of it not being structurally sound after almost 15 years. I also added extra works to waterproof my 2nd floor balcony as my driveway ceiling was showing signs of water damage. We only found out about this on the 2nd day. Their team of workers (Rahul, Nanu and Sebul plus others, sorry if I got the names wrong) led by their Supervisor Ohid did a fantastic job everyday that they were here ( 7 days ). It's just that it rained 5 out of 7 days which cause a daily delay of an hour or so. Ohid is a super conscientious and will inspect his teams work as well as manage his own. He did water proofing, painting, installing the alum composite panels and did the flushings as well. The team does NOT do a rush job. It's get it done right the first time which is what we all want. The sanding down and varnishing was fantastic as well. You could see the care they put in to make sure it's done right. I was admiring the newly varnished wood that I could see my own reflection in it. THey did 2 coats of varnish for my wooden structures as well as my main gate and side gate. The paint job was also very thorough. I had to find the key to my electric meter box as they wanted to touch up the inside of it as well. They also repainted the inside of my mailbox. Everyday they will clean up the drive way by washing down all the dirt and dust plus put their things neatly at one corner before they leave. They would be at my house by 8am and will leave at about 6 to 630pm depending. The last few days they had also covered my patio floors and usually they will remove nightly until I told them don't bother to remove since they will need it there for the following day. Marc was responsive whenever I WA him with anything I had observed or if I had any questions. Kudos to their team of guys who toil under this insane weather to get stuff done. I was happy to provide as many cold packet drinks as they wanted. I am very satisfied with their work and will recommend them to anyone requiring shelter/roof works plus other general repairs required for their house. My shelters are now brand new, driveway shelter is balanced ( previously sengek after many years), house and walls have a fresh coat of paint and the wood all freshly varnished. Thank you Marc , Mohammed plus Ohid and team. 10 stars. Apr25: I am editing this review exactly almost 1 year later as I had engaged them again this time to fix my entire roof. This time they 1. fixed and extended left and right side metal flashing 2. Plastered and patched all cracks, even the toilet ventilation shaft area on the roof was patched. 3. Did waterproofing on left and right sides as well as pitch of the house with 2 layers. Top of the walls too. 4. Cement to smoothen out front and back gutters of the house followed by 3 layers of waterproofing. 5. They extended the flashing at the front of the attic windows as well and extra silicone to the windows. 6. Cleaned my entire roof from the dirt gathered on it for how many donkey years. Basically fixed everything and anything to prevent leaks which they spotted as there is no way I can climb up to see it myself . The team showed allot of initiative without following things to the letter and that gives me allot of confidence in their work. For this 2nd round, I got the team of Ohid, Billai and Nannu. As always very conscientious and do good work. Highly recommend.

We found the Roofing Specialist via Google search as we were faced with a leaking ceiling on the upper floor after the recent downpours. Marc and his team were fast to respond and very knowledgeable of their craft, identifying the issue easily after a quick survey of the roof. Their fares were transparent and fair and Marc wasn’t pushy with throwing in any extra works. After seeing how well the job was done we decided to enlist their aid for the remaining sections of the roof for good measure. The team was thorough and even accommodated some of our ad hoc requests along the way. Very satisfied with the final result.

No issues working with them. Good solution to my problem and didn't try to oversell me by adding extra things. Although there was an error, (material brought in was defective) they rectified it as quickly as they could and kept to the timeline I set out. Workers who came were polite and respectful.
