   Would like to commend HT. I don't know anything about heaters as it was installed 10 years ago and had to take over as there was a sudden leakage from our Rheem heater. HT was incredibly helpful on recommending to turn off the valve on the tank first, and I called twice. He never pressured me to replace immediately but advised this as a first step to prevent the water bill from going too high. A week later once I could be on-site, managed to arrange an installation of a new water heater which was smaller and cheaper, more suitable for my home's current needs. The two technicians were very professional, fast, and also kind to my elderly parent. Sorry I forgot to get their names. Really recommend this company! And also just a tip. Keep the picture of the receipt for future reference, then you'll know what the model of your tank is, when you purchased it, etc. All very important details when asking for diagnostic help.

   Was contacted through Rheem for heater replacement. The service officer was impatient, rude and insisted he was above board about the heater replacement, while he kept cutting me when I spoke and insisted to only fix an appointment when my replacement heater was available. Decided to change plumbers due to the service attitude and lack of understanding that the schedule was not yet fixed which cumulated with me getting handed a scolding…. Firmly asserts my decision to change plumber and Strongly suggest not to engage in the services, as it is paid , rude , and more expensive…. Don’t bother wasting ur energy here…

   Same experience with Hock Tee mentioned by another reviewer below. Just wanted to call and get someone to come and check a rusty and leaking Rheem water heater purchased from them 3 years ago but encountered his very dismissive attitude. He even wanted me to provide the date installation for something that was purchased and installed 3+ years ago, which is pretty ridiculous, and then proceeded to doubt me when i told him it was purchased from his company! I wouldnt mind paying $75 for his plumber to take a look but he needs to stop asking customers stupid questions.

   I called Dairen Engineering to enquire about replacing my leaking Rheem storage water heater and had the unfortunate experience of speaking with someone named Hock Tee. From the start, he was impatient, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic customer service etiquette. He constantly spoke over me and didn’t allow me to finish my questions or express my concerns. Instead of providing clear and courteous assistance, he was dismissive and came across as if he couldn’t be bothered to deal with a customer inquiry. It’s disappointing and frustrating to encounter this kind of rude and inconsiderate behaviour especially when dealing with something as essential as home repairs. Based on this interaction alone, I would strongly caution others to think twice before engaging this company. If you value respectful and professional service, I suggest looking elsewhere to avoid the stress of dealing with someone as uncooperative as Hock Tee

   My home heater was replaced by Dairen Engineering in 2022 and had a good experience. Hence in Mar 2025, I engaged Dairen Engineering and once again, the work was done professionally. Mr Azri and Mr Mohd was experienced and tidy up the place upon completion of the job. Highly recommended. Thank you for the job well done!
