   The PABX phone system in my clinic broke down due to the power surge when the building we are located in upgraded its electrical generator. Singtel could not help and I called my previous phone system provider to come in. I was charged $270 for a next-day service during which the technician took a look at the fuse and said that was not the problem and I had to change the whole system as the parts were not available anymore. It took him about 10 minutes to check and come to the conclusion. I was quoted $2k+ for the new system. I decided to try my luck and googled for other phone service providers. I chanced upon First Communications & Services and decided to give them a call. Mr Amir took the call and was able to come to my clinic within an hour as he was in the vicinity. He listened to my requirements and told me that I do not need a PABX system. He proceeded to make some changes to the wiring and managed to make it possible for the clinic to have 1 main line and 1 hunting line without the PABX system. He took about an hour, including making a call to Singtel Control line to ensure that the lines are correctly identified and connected. And he charged me much less than $200 for all the effort and time. He got the job done and it was in accordance to my requirement. He did not simply tell me to change to a new system as he said it was not his style to do so. I am very pleased to have found him and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and colleagues who needed such services. I will personally contact him for any future phone, internet and CCTV services.
