This company do not worth a single review. I told them my issue about the washing machine, and was quoted sgd150. Agreed and a technician came after few calls of checking what time he arriving. When he came, never even ask about the problem with the machine. Open up the board on top, let it run and he was just chatting with his family at the home town. End of sessions, say nothing wrong and wanted to collect Sgd200. I said I was told only sgd150. Finally after wasting time on the test, nothing solve. Scammer

As all the other reviews, I got scammed of $150 to fix a washing machine. He is ignoring all my messages for a refund and I will be reporting to CASE on their negligence and lack of business practice. Horrible. PLEASE READ THEIR REVIEWS BEFORE ENGAGING EVERYONE

‼️⛔️⚠️ SCAMMER COMPANY ⚠️⛔️‼️ Beware. Do not engage this company. Should have called the police in the first place. Engaged them for rubber gasket replacement. Price was $150, inclusive all. Able to come in 1 hour. So yeah, Sohel (boss) did sent someone down. BUT IT WAS NOT TO REPLACE!!!!!!! He sent someone down to fix/repair. I called Sohel immediately telling him about our deal and I was not keen to repair. He then told me he will order rubber gasket for me, but fix first. With confidence “confirm can work, will last very long.” I asked how much, he said $150 for repair. Huh!!!!!!!!!! I said no. He told me to pay whatever amount i like. Ok so we proceed to repair. Repair failed. My washer still leaked. The technician wanted me to pay $120 for the repair. I called Sohel again, asking him why should i pay when the problem is still not fixed???? I told him i am willing to pay $50 at most. The technician and Sohel both told me $50 is too little, $80 is okay. The technician also told me he is not supposed to work today, on OT. HAH like it’s my problem? Claim Sohel la!! I just paid $80 to get rid of him from my house. Beware!!!!! Do not engage this company. Should have called the police and not pay in the first place. Reporting this company.

Not even worth rating for this company,its a scam guys! Got thier number off google,called the number ,sohel answered and ask me to take a video of the error code,straight away he quoted me $150 i agreed,told me his men would come at 5/6pm,waited till 7pm i called sohel didn’t answer the call then he texted me after 1hr that his men is coming. After another hour of wait i texted sohel again where is your men? Again replied that men will will be arriving in 25mins.10pm his men finally called and said he’s reaching in 14mins so i waited, fair enough IMRAN (his worker) did came with his trolley filled with tools to check on the washing machine. After removing the back plate imran told me its the MOTHERBOARD problem,i told him i knew whats the issue,i already told sohel about the issue. Imran told me he needs to order the motherboard then he’ll come back tomorrow and fix it up,i agree to it and say ok i’ll wait for you to come back tomorrow. Right after he fixed back the back plate he told me “ok boss i need taxi money” i asked how much,he told me $50 bucks!! I said thats too much go ask gor ur company to settle. Imran said i need to bare the cab fare for his transportation. I told him,SOHEL said it will cost me $150 but if now i need to pay additional $70 for the motherboard im ok with it but to pay imran’s cab fare for him to come and tell me something i already knew ,of course im not paying. IMRAN called SOHEL and SOHEL told me i must pay the $50 i said when did you told me that i need to pay for the cab fare? You told me the $150 is the quotation for the repair. Sohel told me its standard procedure in SG people would pay for transportation fee,i said why didn’t you tell me in the first place? You only told me that i have to pay $150 for the repair. Thats when he’s out of words and just hung up the call. After talking some sense to IMRAN he finally understood that SOHEL didn’t told me about the $50 transportation fee,and he decided to leave. Beware of this company guys.

Engaged for replacement of rubber for washing machine. One guy, whom shared the same name as one that gave 5 stars review in this list, came late at 8.45pm after delay. Checked and insisted a payment of $50 before sourcing for parts. No mention of upfront payment during discussion. Paid and did not come back after weeks. No reply via text. Called, picked up and hang up after knowing it’s a chaser. No update till today from these scammers.

I don't usually leave bad reviews and for some reason did not see the previous reviews by others. Like them, I would not recommend their services. I contacted them about my faulty dryer and they said they would send a person down. I asked what time and no reply. After a few hours I asked again if anyone was coming and he called me to say "huh no one came?" and then said someone was gonna come down now. When they did they open up dryer, saw that it was not a belt problem and when I asked what was the problem he said "machine". I didn't want to linger so I let him do his job. I could hear that he was on the phone the whole time. Later he said that he had to come back tomorrow to fix it as he wasn't finished. He fixed back the open cover but did not align it properly and I saw him use the hammer to fit it back in, it tool him awhile. The next day, he didn't even come back and no one replied to my messages and calls. I had to get a new person to fix it and when they did, I was told the side of the dryer was slightly damaged and missing some screws and had loose parts.

I don't know why unable to find the negative Google reviews before engaging them. This is a scam company. Come to 'fix' washing machine swiftly and collected unreasonable high price. Washing machine remained damaged right after they left. Refuse to refund.

Called them to fix our dryer because it was making sound. Worker came and claimed to have fixed it. But the dryer does not dry the clothes. Then the worker came again and then said the coil was spoiled. The boss refused to refund us. Do not engage this company at all!

Dishonest people who asked for travel and labour $70 and completion $100. They said they will get the spare part and come back later at 7pm, I waited and called till 10pm, not able to explain why technicians didn’t come. At midnight when I called again, they said the guys will come to my place at 930am the next day. It is 140pm now, nothing. Totally scammers. I will look at reporting this company. I expect a refund of $70.

Engaged Home Repair SG on 15 May 2025 to ask them to help me replace my washer's drain hose which was cracking and leaking, causing my washer to leak water all over the floor each time. Was quoted $140 for repairs and new drain hose. Technician came and started to work on my washer and replaced the hose. However after starting up the washer, the drain pump refused to work. He opened up and checked several times yet it refused to work. So I am left with a washer that has a new drain hose but is rendered useless because the drain pump doesn't pump the water out. Called the guy, Sohel on Whatsapp. He asked for full payment because he said his technician had already purchased a brand new drain hose for the repair. I paid him in full even though the tech's work had somehow affected my drain pump. I called a different company (Company B) to try and take a look at my machine the next day. They told me if they cannot solve the problem, then to just cover transport costs. I agreed. When their technician arrived and took a look at my washer, they said the motherboard was somehow damaged and short circuited during the previous repair. They also showed me that the drain hose installed by the Home Repair SG technician WAS NOT a brand new hose as the hose was dirty. Even its insides were dirty, which if it were a brand new hose, would be impossible as water had never gone through it before, as my pump wasn't working. The techs from Company B asked me which repair service did I engage and when I told them it was Home Repair SG, they told me they knew who Sohel was and his business revolved around gathering parts from different machines and using them in their repairs and passing them off as brand new. They also advised me to contact Sohel and ask for a partial refund as he had lied about the hose being brand new, to justify the payment of $140. I contacted Sohel and sent him pictures of the hose and asked for a partial refund as the drain hose wasn't brand new as stated and I had only agreed to pay the full amount because he said his tech had purchased a brand new hose. He just said ok and disappeared after that. Things dragged until 18 May where after much chasing he asked me how much does he want me to be refunded. I replied $100, as the hose was useless to me, and the $40 being transport fees. Again he disappeared until later he said he would refund me $70. I agreed. And Sohel disappeared again. Again I chased him and he finally sent a screenshot showing he has transferred me $60. I asked him where the remaining $10 was and he said his boss said to give only $60. We spoke a bit more but I know he was just going to ghost me again. I've given up on getting back the refund of $70 that this Sohel himself had offered. Overall if I could give zero ratings, I would. Slow to respond (even during initial booking of appointment), using 2nd hand items and passing them off as brand new (basically cheating), and going back on their word. Home Repair SG has shady business practices and I would never recommend them to anyone. If you don't mind being cheated of proper brand new items during repair, by all means, engage them. Otherwise, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
