   Beware of this contractor. We were told by the landlord’s agent the service is $80. The guy showed up for 10 minutes to do the job and then went into his truck to talk on the phone. I had to leave the house, then he charged my mother in law $120! Next time you call plumber, make sure they put it in writing how much they charge you upfront. This type of gauging and business practice, $120 for 10- minute work after they finish that’s different from they quote you is just unacceptable!

   Hi James, Thank you for your feedback. After seeing your review, we conducted an internal check and also spoke with the landlord who engaged us for this service. This service was arranged by the landlord, who is our long-term client, and we were asked to attend the unit to clear a choke. As the request came through the landlord, we did not have prior communication with you before the appointment. At the time of attendance, we were also not aware that the payment would be made by the tenant. Otherwise, our usual practice is to inform the person making payment of the service fee before starting the work. During the visit, the tenant asked about the service cost and requested to make payment directly. Our plumber contacted our office to confirm the price, and the $120 minimum service fee for clearing a floor trap choke using hand equipment was communicated before payment was collected. Our team also assisted to check another area for possible blockage during the visit without additional charge. Based on our investigation with the landlord, no $80 price was communicated prior to the service, and we are unfortunately unable to trace where this figure may have originated from.    Responsible service. Unlike other plumbers who you get on the Internet who will over charge you, they quote a reasonable price and are responsive. Will use them again in the future. Even managed to source for me a spare part for my flushing system that is hard to find.
