⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Consistently Excellent Service – Maxel Air-conditioning & Engineering Pte Ltd I’ve engaged Maxel Air-conditioning & Engineering Pte Ltd over the past few years for both replacement of air-conditioning units and regular servicing across multiple properties. Every time, their service has been consistently professional, efficient, and reliable. Most recently, they helped replace several units and serviced the entire house. The workmanship was excellent, the team was punctual, and they ensured the site was clean after completion. Cooling performance has improved significantly and everything is running smoothly. It's rare to find such consistent quality and trustworthiness in contractors these days. I highly recommend Maxel Air-conditioning to anyone looking for long-term, dependable aircon solutions.

I used their services in 2021 when renovating my hdb. I'm putting up this follow up review a few years later after realising a few things. 1. Shaun is a pleasant enough aircon guy. 2. Slow response, usually gets back after chasing a few days but because he's quite pleasant I let it slide. 3. His guys who installed my aircon pipes damaged the bathroom tiles and didn't bother to pack it up with plaster or whatever they use to plug it up so basically there's a big ugly jagged hole around the pipes. I didn't mention it before as I wasn't experienced and wasn't sure whether it was the aircon guys or the renovation guys. 4. Some time later a family friend who also worked with aircon previously visited the house and asked why we had to route the pipes so long when it could have been done much shorter. Not sure whether he is right, just putting it up here as he wasn't the first to comment this. 5. 2 remote controllers stopped working about a year in. I was using them with the original fujitsu batteries that came with the remote controllers given to me by Shaun. He gave the reason that it's because of the energizer batteries that we used that leaked oil into the remote. It doesn't make sense to me because all along we had been using the original batteries he gave, and we don't switch the air cons on every day, only for very hot days, meaning we used the remote controls very sparingly. Sparingly used controllers spoilt less than a year in - would any consumer accept that? 5a. Moreover he never mentioned anything about the batteries to us after installation. So if it indeed was because of the batteries then the very least he could have done was to tell us not to use certain types of batteries. 5b. Long story short, he said he can't help as he is just selling on behalf of daikin and we needed to go on daikin's website to buy new controllers. To me in essence it meant we would need to get new controllers every year based on his logic. 6. I had agreed to this model of aircon (daikin) because one of the perks he mentioned was that it had some kind of smart home service (can link to phone or WiFi or something). After installation, he never helped us to connect it, never even explained anything. 6a. At first i waited for him, thinking he was busy (also because everything I contact him must chase and chase and remind). After some time I just asked him: is there a user manual that comes with the airconditioners. He replied yes, he will give it to us in a few days. 6b. That's right. He didn't even give us the user manuals. I had to chase him for it. Isn't this a standard thing? Like when someone buys an electronic you give them the receipt, manual, warranty card where applicable? What are you doing holding on to my user manual? 7. So far the aircons are still working so that's something. For the two units that the remotes spoiled I didn't buy new remotes. I just press the on-off button manually. All in I must say, he's a nice guy but the service experience sucks.
