This company is an absolute joke. Let me tell you exactly what happened: I sent photos of exactly the items I wanted to dispose of and sought services: bed frame, sofa, dining table, and dining chairs. Provided me a quote and I accepted. The guy who arrived started complaining immediately about how large the sofa was and how it was not possible to move this out. First of all, they sent one person and it was clearly a two-person job which bewilders me. I told him I sent the photos and was quoted a price and if there are issues he should take it up with the company. He kept complaining. It seemed like he was lazy to disassemble the sofa as he later took out his toolkit and eventually did it. Then came the bed (Ikea queen-sized bed with storage underneath - all emptied out obvious): he said the frame is too large. Once again, I had already sent the photo exactly as requested when I received the quote. If there are issues, they need to let me know in advance (also, there can't be issues because it's a simple Ikea queen sized bed). Once again, he got to work, didn't disassemble but started lifting the entire frame while complaining the whole time. He then asked me to come to the room and help him move as I was in the living room. Hold on a second: are you kidding me? I hired a company and paid a lot of money so that they do the work and not me as I have a bad back. So I ended up being his second worker to shift the entire bed frame, load it onto the cart, and dragging the whole thing with him out to the lift. Also, not even a thank you. I spoke to their admin or whoever that was managing this from the headquarters to complain about the service I was receiving and the person said "no lah~ don't worry lah~ it's just a misunderstanding~". Are you kidding me? What misunderstanding? Just do the job that was hired for! It's not rocket science. I didn't ask them to do anything beyond the quoted services - sofa, dining table, dining chairs, and bed frame. No one should be using Move Dot services. Seriously disappointed but also genuinely have hired the wrong people. The guy who came to move things out was completely incompetent and just simply complaining the whole time. If he's got complaints, then he needs to take it up with his company and not me! They also need to send another person for such jobs. Not sure if I am allowed to quote prices here so what I will say is I asked for a discount because of the terrible services and the admin or whoever I spoke to gave me a joke of a discount which I said was unacceptable and said will try and get more so ended up with still a joke of a discount! This is not satisfactory at all. Most importantly NOT A SINGLE APOLOGY from the admin person NOR the guy who actually came! Again, the admin person's response was "no lah~ don't worry~ just misunderstanding~". I have been in Singapore for 9.5 years and have moved / gotten rid of furniture four-five times with absolutely no issues with any of the companies I have worked with. This is the first company that was completely incompetent at delivering what was promised for a really straightforward simple job. Photos attached are the items I sent to them for removal (excluding mattress). It's a very straight-forward job but they were not able to deliver. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

I’m very pleased with the service provided, it was a last minute request that Chris managed to accommodate effectively. There was a minor issue regarding the access to the basement in our building due to height clearance requirements; nevertheless we managed to solve it without having to pay any extra fees. Highly recommended!!!

Google Review I used this moving company for a full move between apartments, including packing and disposal. I was initially quoted around $1,700, but the final cost ended up being almost $5,000, unfortunately, it was one of the most stressful moving experiences I’ve had. The movers themselves were great, and I genuinely feel bad for them because they worked incredibly hard and for a very long day. My issue was mainly with the planning, communication and organisation. We are a household of five with a lot of belongings, yet the day started with only two movers. I immediately messaged the admin to explain that this wouldn’t be enough, but additional movers didn’t arrive until the afternoon. They were also supposed to handle the packing. I had told them in advance that we would need around 50 boxes, but they only brought 10. The movers also apparently weren’t aware that packing was part of the service, so my helper ended up doing around 80% of the packing, despite us being charged for the packing service. By 5pm, they were still packing and loading the van at the old apartment, largely because there simply weren’t enough people to start with. The move eventually finished at around 1am. It also got to the point where my husband and I had to help the movers carry boxes and furniture from the van into the new apartment because there simply weren’t enough people to do the job. The whole move was chaotic, stressful and took an entire day and night. I really wanted this to be a good experience, but unfortunately it wasn’t. If you’re looking for a smooth, well-organised move, my advice would be to pay a premium for one of the more established moving companies. You may end up paying roughly the same in the end anyway, but at least you’ll have the organisation and peace of mind that comes with it. The movers themselves deserve a lot of credit for working so hard and for so many hours. My frustration is with the planning, management and execution of the move, not with the guys who were on the ground doing their best.

Two things for the bad review, firstly, customer service is very bad. Secondly, Beware of hidden fees. Firstly, Lorry couldn't enter the carpark of the condo. Usually my condo do not have such registration unless the height of the vehicle is too tall. However, the admin never mentioned this to me. So I have to cancel this and they charge me for $100. Secondly, the customer service is VERY VERY RUDE. I was asking him question patiently, the guy just RUDELY PUT OFF THE CALL and refused all conversation. Insisted me to instantly pay the cancellation fee, I quickly transferred $100 and he still refused to chat. I can tell the customer service is lacking of basic manner to be a kind individual, not to even say being a customer service personnel. Yet, I maintained my patience in talking with him. Aiya.

These are cheaters and scammers. Please never book them. Just out there to get the booking fee from you. When the packers come, they increase charges by 50-100% randomly citing unexplainable reasons. You end up cancelling the service and they never refund your deposit

One of the most competitive quotation i received and they were the most responsive in queries and booking. The men came to dismantle and dispose many of my large furnitures. They were very efficient and very professional in dismantling and transporting to the ground floor. Everything was done swiftly and the service is great. Highly recommended.

If you are looking to dispose of items because you are moving out or just don't want it, Movedot is your guy. I contacted them thru whatsapp, they replied quickly and disposal was done the following day! The guys who picked up my items were friendly and helpful and they were 10minutes early for the pick up time (which I truly appreciate) Highly recommended and I will defintely engage their services again. Fast, easy and professional!

Both Sam And Wan are fantastic in clearing out the items in my house. They arrived promptly and are cheerful guys while carrying out their work. I’m impressed with them dismantling n assembling back the study table with care. Care was taken not to scratch the parquet floors n staircase holders. I’ll gladly recommend friends to use your company’s services.

Had very few items. Came with the biggest truck that obviously wouldn’t fit in any condo. Stuff would have easily had fitted on a flat bed or van. Upon arrival, the first thing the guys said was ‘more money’. This is certainly a tactic. They were ready for the situation. As a result, extras were added. The end cost was pretty much double. Cowboys!

Found them online. The response was very fast and price quoted was reasonable. On the day itself, they came on time and worked professionally. Uncle did not even hesitate when I asked him to help moving some furniture. Initially I had very low expectations because I have had a bad experience with the other company that I have engaged before which is late for 1.5 hours and still try to ask me for more $$ from the original job scope and price agreed beforehand. But I will totally recommend MoveDot as I am very satisfied with how Charlotte (the customer service ambassador) and the movers handle my order.
