I needed to replace my old, worn-out bedroom doors and came across Renovaid Team’s promotion while searching online. The whole process was smooth and straightforward, from the site measurement and fabrication period through to the installation of the doors. The installer did the entire installation himself, including removing the old doors and fitting the new ones, and the workmanship was done well. The painting crew who came a week later to paint the door frames and the louvres above the doors were meticulous and did a fantastic job as well. Thank you to Renovaid Team!

Renovaid is horrible, bad experience. Can’t even coordinate a simple change. Just imagine giving big orders. I am told Lol in a message and asked to look some where else. Hdb approved, my foot.

I have never experienced this level of service recovery. Given the rebuttals to negative reviews , I should have known better. Sales experience started well with my elderly in-laws. 4 x bedroom doors was the order (slightly above $1K). 50% deposit paid. From there, the experience went south. Execution was a letdown. On survey day, in-laws sought to know timeline, and was told 11-21 days (thereabouts). Up till the very last day, there was no reach-out until the very last day of the timeline when I checked in. Came installation date, team arrived late with no notifications. Except for 1-door where measurements were wrong, the rest of the doors were installed. Door must be brought back for alterations and a later date was agreed upon for the installation. Again, no notifications were given for no-show (0900H to 1000H). I had to check in. Responses felt like it was out of template. I gave 15 mins and sought a status. Standard reply to say that one in the team will be in touch with me. Nothing came, and so, I asked for the Manager to call me. Now, here’s where it went terribly south. I will not ever recommend this company as I do not ever wish for my experience upon anyone. Manager Kelvin contacted me at 1110H. Started off with apologies. He explained that the installation was not planned, and added that his installer is on medical leave that day. Knowing that my in-laws have been disappointed a few times in the execution, and the inconveniences that they have to go through to change their schedules, I told him that neither an apology nor a medical leave proof (I did not asked for it) was needed but he should at least speak to his boss to make good (of the several lapses) by way of a small discount for my in-laws. For the first time in my life, I was reprimanded by a service provider. He says that “we are all Singaporeans. It is very disgraceful that every time something happens, it’s about compensation”. I told him that I do not wish to carry on the conversation and just tell me when the next installation date will be. He then went onto say that “I made the mistake. I have apologised. Don’t you make mistakes? Are you a Saint?” First time, I have ever been asked that question. I ended the call.

**Subject: Successful Installation of Fire-Rated Doors by the Renovaid Team** Fire-rated door for our new house! We recently had our first experience with the installation of the main door for our new house. Due to delays caused by the installer’s errors, the installation date has been rescheduled to November 3, 2025, from the initially planned date of October 9, 2025. This date, October 9, 2025, was also a long-overdue date since July when we placed the order with an initial deposit. The installation required two workers as it involved drilling for the lock system. Recently, we successfully installed two bedroom doors and two toilet doors on July 12, 2025, and it was a one-man job. Impressive! We would like to share our experience regarding the installation of our new fire-rated door, the last item on our renovation list for our new house. It was successfully completed on November 3, 2025. The delay was caused by the installer’s mistake in incorrectly reinstalling the old arm bar from the existing door without consulting us (the homeowner). Instead, he should have presented the new arm bar that our door supplier provided in advance. We had ordered a completely new fire-rated door, which included the locking system and arm bar. Our order was placed on July 18, 2025, along with an initial deposit, and we were informed that the new main door would be ready in 3-4 weeks, leading us to believe it would be completed by August 18, 2025. According to Chinese custom, we avoid renovations from August 23, 2025, to September 21, 2025, necessitating the postponement of the installation until after this period. On October 5, 2025, we reached out to Kelvin Tan via text to confirm the installation date. He informed us that the installation could take place on October 9, 2025, highlighting the gap between September 21 and October 5, 2025. October 9, 2025 - Installation was not successful! On October 9, 2025, the installation did not go as planned due to errors made by the installer, who used the old arm bar without informing us. Although the installation was nearly complete at 90%. We raised concerns when the installer suggested we could keep the new set or the arm bar, as the old sets could still be used. Given that he had already drilled five holes in the wooden main door, we disagreed with this approach because he did not consult or inform the owner. We subsequently reported the issue to Kelvin Tan immediately, who assured us that a one-for-one exchange for a new door would be arranged, with a tentative readiness date of October 20, 2025 (about 10 days later). November 3, 2025 - Installation was successful! Finally, our new fire-rated main door was installed on November 3, 2025, with only minor adjustments needed the following day. The installer returned on November 4 to properly align the lock bar of the side door at the bottom part, which had not been aligned correctly initially as we reported to Kelvin Tan. **Conclusion:** The installer should remain vigilant (regardless if he is having personal issues or his team mate) during installations and ask the questions if they have any doubts. Most of the contractors will be okay, and if they are unsure, they will consult the owner before they begin to drill any holes in the walls. This is called being responsible as a worker. Nevertheless, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Kelvin Tan and his workers for finally installing the fire-rated main door 🚪, which is the last item on our renovation list. Thank you Kelvin Tan for your understanding! Thank you, Chris November 12, 2025

Customers service sucks. When issues surfaces they won’t take responsibility, just kept saying the it’s our fault at the end. “It’s okay if you guys say you won’t get affected by this review” But please have some ethics. What i see here is that there is no ethics at all.

Renovaid response to inquiries was fast and cater to your budget. Their prices are reasonable. Job was done on my preferred date and good workmanship. Staff was helpful and did a very good job. Happy with the new toilet door installed.

Appointment for measurement was made within a day of enquiry. Measurement made accurately and installation was done within the week. The installation man was on time and very efficient in installing 2 toilet doors within an hour. He was friendly and patiently answered and explained whatever questions I had. I am happy to have new toilet doors within a week!

Just got the 4 doors installed today. Before engaging Renovaid, we checked other places for price comparison. Renovaid offered the best package. I was attended by Kelvin when we visited their mini workshop and office. Kelvin is friendly and patient. After deciding on the color and the package, Kelvin schedule a site measurement. On the of the site visit day we still have time to decide on the colour and package again before making a 50% deposit. We waited 3 weeks ( that is the minimum leadtime). Renovaid is efficient, as long as you communicate clearly with them. They are professional. The installer who came to my place do the installation is also polite and well mannered. The professionalism is visible from the sales transaction till the installation day. Good job!

Deal at your own risk. From measuring the door to fixing it, there were so many issues with no proper follow-up. The worst part was receiving a door that didn’t match what we ordered. Customer service was horrible — from not providing a receipt after the deposit to not issuing one even after full payment. I had to chase them for it. There was no sincerity, and they didn’t offer any apologies

They are most probable affordable options, but then do not expect any after sales support and warranty. Let's see if the owner would rebut in their "professional and polite" manner.

Only communication is thru online. No calls. Wanted to replace my door. Sent photos and measurements to ask for an estimate quote. The reply is we don't have such door. I already indicate I wanna change. Which part was I not clear? If don't have then just propose. End up blocking my message. Perhaps is a new way of doing business.

The installation process, including measurement and actual installation, typically takes around 4 weeks. Despite a minor setback of almost 2 hours caused by a misaligned door due to HDB wrong alignment in the past , the experienced installer was able to rectify it on the spot. Overall, a high-quality, sturdy door was successfully installed. It’s worth noting that the door is heavy and solid, filled with cores rather than being hollow. Good installer make the company successful.

Unprofessional. Entitled. Rude. Poor communication. Avoid at all cost. Almost engaged them for my house but after trying to converse and give it a go despite the negative reviews, the negative reviews were proven right.

After researching many door and window contractors, I decided to go with Renovaid. My project was managed by Kelvin. Kelvin is very professional at the first time we met to discuss on the doors and windows. He even suggest to me that actually my window still can use. Don't need to change. Which I appreciate it. But I still went ahead with the installation. Kelvin is always very responsive and prompt to my enquiry. As I am managing the reno without any ID or main con he always gives sound advise and always looking out for the best interest of me. My project has successfully completed without any major issue. Even there is Kelvin and his team goes the extra mile to help me. I really appreciate Renovaid team for getting Kelvin to handle my project. They are professional and very decicated to the work. Thank you very much Renovaid and Kelvin!

It was a very easy and smooth transaction. It took about a month from day of enquiry to day of installation. The door is very good and solid. Their staff that came to install it was very efficient and quick in replacing the existing doors. They even helped me to install my cat doors. Overall very satisfied.

Check their website and saw that they have kitchen revamp package but when I ask and check with them thru WhatsApp, they mention that they are currently not doing carpentry work so I check on only dismantling work, and we're told they don't do that too. So why is their website is not updated. Seems like they don't do major renovating work.

Apparently, they only adhere to their availability. When you ask for another day and timing, they simply ask you bluntly to go look for another. Such audacity!

Poor professional services received from this company. Perhaps this company employers should take lessons on upgrading their Professionalism. P.S Reply below from Renoaid just proved my point. All the best to future potential customers engaging them.

Excellent workmanship and good attitude from the engineer and very reasonable price. Engineer check alignment of lock holes, apply silicon to ensure gate has no gaps. The locks for the gate has double bolt and is latest security key that cannot be easily copied. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get a good sturdy gate to look for Renovaid. I just installed today 18 Feb.

Team Renovaid customer relations is true top notch. Their sales person had attended to my request from the very start of comparing with their competitors plastic parts at the folding mechanism which did not last due to weathering. We insisted there should be no plastic at the folds and at the closing due to sudden impact. We were happy to note it wasn’t in their design as they have a better study on these doors. I must give credit to the workman who attended to the measurement and installation to our Slide and Swing Doors for an excellent job done. He single handedly removed our previous installed doors with ease and carefully placed it outside our unit. He then proceeded to install our newly doors. He has an attention to detail attitude and made sure it was installed safely with precision accuracy. He had a good clean as you go attitude when he completed his job. Finally, he briefly showed me the opening and closing of the functional doors with a smile snd mentioned, don’t hesitate to call them if any need arises. I think that is an excellent after service workman. Kudos to Team Renovaid!

Didn't use them as a contractor cause i personally felt that a team's professionalism begins with communication, to save your time i summarized into one word: Crude. Period. (and personally calling them crude is already more than a compliment.)

My family had engaged Renovaid before and we were really happy when they change our toilet door in the past. We felt that they were quick, quality and good value. That's why doing up the new house both me and my sis thought of this company. But all this impression was completely changed during our recent interaction with them. Initially I call up to change toilet door and window. The appointment went smoothly and they did the measurement. Then we noticed that the bedroom doors had issues. This one my sis was tasked to contact as I got busy. There were some mis-comm and she didn't know that they came down for toilet door measurements before. We were certain that we will be engaging them for all the doors when she contacted. She makes an appt with them but was working so asked me to go down instead. It was supposed to be a 4-5pm appt. But the contractor called her close to the timing which she couldn't answer as she was working and just came up earlier at 3.30pm. Lucky my house have a kitchen contractor doing some work and they can go in without issue. Then they rejected to work with us. My Dad wanted to find out why and called. I was shocked by the reason they give was that they came down two times and both times we were not there with the agreed timing. The first time round there wasn't a timing issue. Second time, the changes in timing is a bit last min on their side. My sis couldn't respond promptly due to work but I was there at the timing previously agreed around 4-5pm. Their time is precious, so is ours too. And when I looked through how Renovaid handles the bad comments and unhappy customer. It was a really disappointing customer service they had. This whole situation really changed my opinion 180 for the company. But I still give credit to their first service in our old house so I gave two stars. Going forward, my family won't be working with Renovaid anymore due to their customer service in this experience.
