Very disappointing service
Called them around 9:30pm for an urgent clogged kitchen sink, and they arrived within about 30 minutes, which we initially appreciated.
However, the experience after they arrived was extremely disappointing. My dad had already removed the pipe beforehand and attempted to clear the blockage himself. When he asked where exactly the blockage was, the worker responded in a very arrogant and dismissive manner, saying, “here, here, you want to come see?” We had already agreed to pay the quoted price for the service, so we expected at least basic professionalism and courtesy.
We also asked if they could reconnect the pipes after completing the work, since they would already have to deal with the pipes. We were then told there would be an additional $40 charge just to put the pipes back. We questioned why this was an extra charge, but my mum eventually agreed to pay it.
Our main concern was simply making sure the pipes were properly fixed. When we tried explaining our concerns, they repeatedly responded with “we know, we know” and basically dismissed what we were saying instead of listening. This made us feel like our concerns as customers were not being taken seriously, and the job did not feel thoroughly done.
We called a professional because we genuinely needed help, especially at 9:30pm. We understand that emergency/after-hours services may cost more, but that does not justify being rude, arrogant or dismissive towards customers.
The quick response was appreciated, but the attitude and lack of professionalism made the overall experience very disappointing. I hope they can improve the way they communicate and treat customers in the future.
Response from the business
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We take your concerns about communication, professionalism, and the additional pipe reconnection charge seriously. We will review this matter with our team and work to improve our service. We appreciate your feedback and sincerely apologize for the disappointment caused.

Best 24/7 Plumbing and handyman work! Even works on Public Holiday! Such a lifesaver! Needed an urgent shower faucet replacement around 4am and they responded quickly and arrived in 20 mins, the replacement service was done smoothly with great profession. Fast and prompt service! They even went an extra mile to fix my leaky shower head without asking. I am very grateful for their service around these odd hours especially on a public holiday. Thank you again RM Handyman!🙏🏻
