Mr. Adrian and Ms. Kim, who corresponded with me and made all the arrangements, were very helpful and responsive. The moving team, led by Mr. Dave, was friendly, helpful and understanding throughout the move. They even helped me put my cat into the carrier when I had some difficulty doing so, which I really appreciated. They were also very gentle and friendly with my cat. Overall, I had a very positive experience with the team and would gladly recommend their service.

This was my third move across 9 years using Shalom. Each time they have been great. They came out in person to survey and determine what is needed and understand what special items or protections you might need. We used the packing service each time and items were securely wrapped in paper and/or bubble wrap and placed into thick cardboard boxes. There is always risk of breakage or damage during a move, which is what insurance is for, but we haven’t had anything break or be damaged. We also didn’t have boxes for any tvs or computer monitors and all came through just fine. Super time saver. The team this time finished both the packing and the move ahead of schedule starting around 9-10 and finishing around 2-3. The team had all the tools they needed to disassemble and reassemble as needed. We had a couple items we couldn’t find and they kindly had the team call and talk us through which boxes they remembered putting things in so we could find them. Highly recommend them.

This morning, Team A moved our heavy and bulky vintage/antique furniture from walk-up apt to new flat efficiently and cheerfully. We had engaged Team A last year, and we were delighted that Adrian who did the site survey had managed to deploy Team A to us again. Top notch service from Adrian and Team A. We strongly recommend Shalom to our friends or anyone! 👍👍👍

This is the 2nd time I used Shalom services in past 5 years. Both times I had a great experience - the teams were efficient yet careful with our items. Also very helpful when we realised we didn’t know how to disconnect and subsequently install the washer inlet hose for my parents flat.

Special thanks to Mr Borhan and his team for making my move a successful one. The team was very professional. They arrived punctually and did a quick check to finalise all the items to be moved. My items were properly wrapped and protected to prevent any damages. They also assisted with the dismantling and re-assembly of my storage beds. The whole moving process only took about 4-5 hours. Great job by the team!

I would like to commend Shalom and their team for the excellent service and smooth move. From the virtual “recce” by Adrian, to the sales team and eventually to the moving team, it was all very approachable and helpful. The moving team - Khairul, Affendi, Haneef, Vengadash and Heng TM - were wonderful. They were professional, friendly, and also quite humorous. Their light-hearted but hard-working approach makes typically stressful (perhaps, even emotional) moves that much less so. A very good experience and will definitely choose Shalom again when I need to move in two years’ time! Thank you!

My family engaged Shalom Movers for our house move, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Initially, everything seemed promising. A representative visited our unit to provide a quotation and even supplied carton boxes for packing. However, when the scheduled moving day arrived, the movers did not show up. We were informed that the lorry had broken down. While unforeseen situations can happen, we accepted the explanation and agreed to reschedule. On the second scheduled moving date, the movers failed to turn up again. My parents had woken up early and prepared everything in advance. This time, we were told that the owner had encountered some issues and that they would provide an updated timing later that day. Unfortunately, no one arrived, and no proper update was given. We were then informed that they do not operate on weekends, so we waited until Monday, 15 June 2026, for further updates. Once again, we were told that the lorry had broken down. After that, communication became almost non-existent. We were promised an earlier time slot and assured that someone would follow up, but no one contacted us and no moving service was provided. What is most frustrating is not the delays themselves, but the repeated no-shows, last-minute excuses, lack of communication, and failure to follow through on commitments. My parents rearranged their schedules multiple times and spent days waiting without any certainty or updates. Please do not rely solely on the company’s 4.2-star rating when making your decision. Our experience was completely different from what the reviews suggested. Before engaging their services, I strongly encourage potential customers to read through both the positive and negative reviews carefully and look at the company’s responses to complaints. I also noticed that there appears to be a large number of positive reviews compared to the negative feedback. While I cannot comment on their authenticity, I would advise customers to take the time to read past reviews thoroughly rather than relying only on the overall star rating. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company due to its unreliability, poor communication, and repeated failure to honour scheduled moving arrangements.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING THIS MOVING COMPANY. First, they said they would call to inform us prior to the moving date. However, we did not receive any call from them at all until the moving date itself. The movers were not punctual. We tried calling their office several times, but no one picked up. WhatsApp calls were also not answered. We kept trying until someone finally picked up. The office line connection was very poor, and the call quality was intermittent. After about 30 minutes, they finally arrived, completely wasting our time. At the same time, we were told to email the operations team because they could not be reached directly. Even when calling their office, they would ask us to send an email to the operations team instead, and they refused to forward the message—even though they are in the same company. This is extremely inefficient and unacceptable. Anyway, this is by far the worst moving experience I have ever had. I hope others see this warning and avoid this company.

Their friendliness and cheerful personalities helped to lift up our spirits, as we were actually feeling a little down in moving out of our fifty-over years home.. the team was understanding and co-operated with each other, handling everything carefully.. we felt safe to leave our things in their hands. If i can give zero stars i would ... agreed on price even showed floor plans where to move .... on moving day said because its a cluster house increase price (unpleasant start) ... throughout the move there were unpleasant events but the one that i couldn't stand was they left my dryer and wadrobe like this and left... granted there was some back and forth on putting the outlay pipe but couldn't you check before u leave that all white goods were installed... worst as they were brining goods up they damaged my staircase too.... We took Shalom Movers because we believe they were the premium movers in Singapore and thus we thought that entitles them a premium payment and service ... we were so wrong... do be careful finding movers

Awesome moving with the people from Shalom. Ms Joy submitted a competitive quote and the moving team, headed by Mr Irwan, was excellent. They packed all our items diligently and brought it to our new place, without anything getting lost or damaged. Highly recommended!

Had a really good experience with Shalom Movers. As a first-time customer, I had quite a few questions prior to engaging their service. Joy, the admin manager and operations team (Andrew) were always patient, responsive and quick to get back to me. The whole process was clearly explained, which made things much less stressful. On moving day, the team (Team B: Dave, Dennis, Eirzhan, Emizrul, Darwish, Rahman and Ahfiy) was efficient, experienced, organized and worked very systematically. They handled everything with care and kept things moving smoothly from start to finish which was under 2 hours. What I appreciated most was their positive attitude, everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout. Moving can be stressful, but the team made it a much easier experience which I am truly thankful for. It’s clear that Shalom Movers is fortunate to have such dedicated and capable employees who genuinely care about providing good service. I would definitely recommend Shalom Movers to anyone looking for a reliable moving company and I will be happy to engage them again when the opportunity arises. Excellent service from Shalom Movers! We had 4 guys packing on the eve of the move and 14 movers (including 2 handymen) on moving day. The team was efficient, professional, and incredibly hardworking. The real challenge was my dining table. Due to technical issues, it looked like it couldn't be dismantled, and I was ready to give up. But the team didn't. Four of them persevered, solved the problem, dismantled the table, and then reassembled it perfectly at my new home in record time. Their determination, teamwork, and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly impressive. Thank you, Shalom Movers, for making a stressful move so much easier. Highly recommended!

The team at Shalom Movers was absolutely fantastic! Everything was handled so efficiently — they managed their time incredibly well and prioritized each room exactly as requested. The whole move was seamless from start to finish. The team was also a pleasure to work with — friendly, always smiling, and very careful with all our furniture. Special mention as well for the carton estimation — it was very accurate! I could have used maybe a few more boxes, but overall it was spot on. Happy repeat customer; for good reason. I have used Shalom successfully for several residential moves since 2014 with my family (the latest in April 2026). I have maintained the same contact person - the excellent Adrian Ong - throughout that time (whose tenure is a strong endorsement in itself). Interactions with customer service via Email are straightforward and professional. For the physical move itself the team are polite, careful, and work hard. Subsequent to the move they picked up the used packaging from outside my new home. Strong recommendation for a quality service you can rely on - my thanks to the team at Shalom!

On 16th April 2026,0115am, this company lorry was seen collecting rental bikes at blk 45 bendemeer road with loud noise. Wow, your company work in this hour DISTURBING residents here. Your delivery man need to earn money but make loud noise disturbing our precious sleep. Didn't know Movers company work at this hour. So impressive

Adrian came for a site survey, and gave us tips and advice on preparing for the move. On the day of the move, Shalom arrived about 10mins ahead of schedule, and briefed us on the sequence of items to be moved. Our personal items in cartons were moved, and they proceeded to carefully wrap every appliance and furniture before moving into the truck. Within 1.5h, the whole house was cleared. At our new home, appliances (such as fridge and washer) were put into their spots, and tested for functionality. Cartons were speedily sorted into their designated rooms. The whole move was completed within 3hrs. Highly recommended for anyone who is preparing for a shift. Shalom makes the process smooth and efficient.

Henry the surveyor was spot on in his assessment of our needs and eventual quote. He's a true professional, knowledgeable of his trade yet friendly and approachable. The teams that came to collect led by Sri and to re-deliver led by Ms Wati were also professional in their service. Fast, efficient and timely. My wife and I are impressed that the 55 items we sent for storage for a month returned looking just liked we packed them yesterday. We are fortunate to have met this good team of professional movers.We whole heartedly recommend Shalom to anyone, any family and business planning on the next move. We had just moved to a new place and used Shalom Movers. This is the 3rd time we had used their services. The first time was some 29 years ago in 1996, the 2nd was in 2018 and yesterday was the third time we had used their services. We are really a repeat customer of sorts over a 29 year period. We are always very satisfied by the services rendered by Shalom and confident that the move will be smooth, seamless and effectively carried out with no damages and in a very professional manner. Yesterday's move was no difference from the previous 2. We give a shout out to the team who handled the move for us yesterday. They are punctual, efficient, polite, handle the cartons labeled with a 'fragile' stickers, with care. The team work as one cohesive unit!! Kudus to the team. Great job!!

Probably one of the worst service I’ve ever experienced from movers. Their movers just chugged everything from my flat without orders in boxes and then just unpacked randomly. Maybe they are good only for moving? What’s more concerning is the response from their office: there was some issue during the move and the movers admitted it but the office keeps saying it was directed by me. Big concern on acknowledging their mistake and fixing them. I unfortunately just read similar reviews, I should have read them earlier!

We engaged Shalom for our move at the end of December. It was a daunting task for us as we were moving from a 3 level home where we’ve lived for 4 decades and had to do it with a tight dateline. From the initial survey and assessment the business manager Adrian was very helpful providing valuable advice and guidance. This continued the whole time as we were clearing and packing for our move. Every time we needed guidance, advice or help the response was prompt and very helpful. It was very reassuring as we were anxious to handover to our buyers in good order. Our move took two days for removal, storage and disposal. On both days the team arrived punctually, worked efficiently and completed the task in good time. The manpower and vehicles Shalom committed to the job was very considerable. The team membets were professional and evidently well trained. The teamwork and camaraderie was impressive with everyone cheerful and obviously enjoying the work and working together. Team Leader Haniff was superb working tirelessly and efficiently making sure everything was in good order. His presence and attention to detail was most reassuring. We are truly grateful to Shalom for a good job done.

I engaged Shalom Movers for my relocation in November, hoping for a smooth and professional experience. Unfortunately, what followed has left me deeply disappointed—not just by the damage caused, but by the lack of integrity in how the situation was handled. During the move, my teak dining table was mishandled. I discovered a lacquer stain dripping down one leg and a deep scratch across the tabletop. This was initially addressed with Shalom’s office. Fortunately, the furniture company that supplied the table was kind enough to help refurbish it, charging only a transport fee. Shalom paid this fee, and the case was considered closed. However, what I learned afterward was far more troubling. The furniture company later informed me that the table trunk had a crack, and that someone had attempted to glue them back together. This information came as a shock. In hindsight, it explained why my table—sent up last—took an additional 20 minutes to arrive at my apartment. It strongly suggests that damage occurred during the move and that an attempt was made to conceal it rather than disclose it honestly. I wrote to Shalom Movers to express my disappointment and serious concerns about the integrity of the moving team involved. No response was given. It appears the company chose not to engage further, likely because they deemed the matter “closed.” Prior to engaging Shalom Movers, I had read several disappointing online reviews but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Regrettably, this experience confirms those concerns. This will be the first and last time I use their services. Accidents can happen during a move—this is understandable. What is not acceptable is the lack of honesty, transparency, and care shown in handling a client’s property and in communicating afterward. Integrity matters, especially in a business that relies on trust.

Service was white glove until they damaged my outdoor sofa. They bent the steel insert when they picked it up, then when we complained, they jammed it back on and became uncontactable.

Honestly so frustrated . They broke my expensive outdoor King Living sofa and the canopy attached to it . And then sent a handyman to literally lodge it onto the sofa permanently. And then said they remedied the situation?!?!?!?!? I bought a sofa with a removable canopy, that they bent during the move , and now they have somehow forced it back in, and made it such that the canopy is no longer removable stating that it is fixed? Is this a joke?!?

Henry has been very patient and professional in assessing my items. Your moving team had been very patiently and carefully moving the items and ensure e.g the fridge and washing machine does not hit the wall. They also wrap the machines which gives me a piece of mi d. Well done Shalom team. This is my fourth time using Shalom services. Will recommend friends Shalom. I had half of house of items in storage with Shalom for 2.5 years. When it came time to arrange transport to the US, they quoted me a rate for a 20ft container that was $10,000 (60%) more that 3 other moving companies. Then, when I arranged to get the stuff picked up and moved to another company's facilities, they were totally uncooperative, unresponsive and then started charging me outrageous additional fees for access to their loading dock, handing fees, disposal fees and a variety of other undisclosed costs. These guys seem professional at the front end but ultimately they will squeeze every last cent out of you they can and rip you off. I would NEVER use them again. Beware!
