Review Really happy with the work done by Thomas and his team on our kitchen countertop and sink. They completed the work very quickly, and the workmanship was good. Although it was a small project, Thomas was very responsible and trustworthy, and made us feel valued as a customer. It’s not always easy to find someone who takes a small job seriously, but he did. We really appreciate his professionalism and would definitely recommend him to others! 👍🏻

2nd time engaging their services for electrical works. Both times the issue was resolved quickly after some troubleshooting. They also managed to squeeze in a slot for me even though they are fully booked for the day because the lights (and only the lights) went off in 3 rooms after we changed the kitchen light ourselves.

Bought a resale flat where the previous owner did not do any cooking at all so did not have a stove installed on the kitchen top. Did a search online and managed to find Surface Top who was able to quote me to cut existing tabletop to accommodate a stove. Decided to engage them also for electrical works such as KDK ceiling fan and exhaust fan installation. From start to finish Mervyn and his team provided top notch communication. In particular, one of his staff recommended that I chose to cut the window glass to install the exhaust fan in both of my toilets so that I will still be able to open and close both my windows vs just putting an acrylic board. They came another separate trip to remove the windows to send it for cutting, installed a temporary plastic sheet for privacy so we could still use the toilets and came back another day to install the windows with the exhaust fan. Thank you Mervyn and team for the 5 star service and extremely reasonable pricing. As a first time homeowner you really made my home moving journey so so much easier. Highly recommend to others and will upload photos to this review .

Mervyn and his team are reliable, fast, and professional. The worker speaks good English and did quality work. I hired them to dismantle my current bathroom countertop, and they found an issue with my old plywood, where the sink was not level. The team managed to level the sink. The cost is reasonable too. You can't go wrong choosing this team. When they say they can do, they mean it. Will definitely want to engage their services again.

Thomas and Mervyn conduct themselves in a professional manner which I feel is deeply lacking in the industry. Their initiative in finding the perfect surface for me, patience in dealing with my home renovation schedule, helping me out with electrical work where my own fell short and ensuring a smooth installation are proofs of their reliability and professionalism. Thank you again for making our kitchen looking absolutely divine ❤️.

Highly recommended! Good worksmanship & prompt reply. Given good advice by looking at picture (just stained not crack) during first contact with Mervyn thus I don't need to engage their service. Remembered his good service so engaged him to resolve a real countertop cracked again. Thumbs up!

I am so glad I contacted Mervyn to change my kitchen countertop. Not only was he responsive in providing me with a quotation and an appointment to start, he also provided a lot of good advice on the type of materials, how to choose my new sink to sit on the countertop etc. His project management is impeccable, and he even had some color samples delivered to me almost immediately after I messaged him so I could use them to find a color-matching sink. I highly recommend engaging Mervyn of Surface Top Solution. Their workmanship is superb.

I was attended to by Thomas for fabrication of quartz top for kitchen and bathrooms. Sought advice in the early stages of renovation and Thomas patiently provided advice and quote. Eventually we decided to choose them because of their competitive pricing. Unfortunately, on-site measurement was delayed by our other contractors. Thomas patiently rescheduled another timing for us to measure the requirements for our quartz top. Our carpenters and plumbers did a bad job for us resulting in ugly drill holes in our bathroom wall. The main contractor did not want to replace our wall tiles for us. Fortunately, we worked out a solution with Thomas to use higher backsplash to cover up the holes in the wall. This extra service was provided to us at no cost as we can still utilize remnant material from table top to fabricate the backsplash instead of using standard backsplash. Effectively, Thomas helped to solve the issues created by my main con, carpenters and plumbers. On installation day, there is a hiccup when we discovered the kitchen piece has a bigger than desired opening, resulting in the hob not able to be fitted in. I thought the team will shirk their responsibility and find excuses for me to just accept the flawed top and close the job. No nonsense from them. They immediately said they will bring back the flawed piece and fabricate a new top for me in 2 days. So, 2 days later, they fulfilled their promise and we are happy customers.

Great service by the team. Very responsive and advised me on how to re-do my existing counter top rather than to do a new kitchen cabinet saving me money. Quality products and was so impressed with the product and workmanship that I engaged them for a second time for my other table top. Thanks to the team for the experience and service!
