Avoid at all costs — extremely disappointing experience. Choosing The Door Specialist has unfortunately turned out to be a decision I deeply regret. Based on my experience, the service and product quality have fallen far short of what I would expect from a company calling itself a “specialist.” To begin with, my digital door lock was delivered to my home in a completely unacceptable manner. Without informing me, the item was placed into my room through the corridor window. Imagine returning home and unexpectedly finding an unknown object inside your room. This was both shocking and concerning from a security perspective. A simple apology was subsequently given, but I believe such an incident should never have happened in the first place. Less than two weeks after moving in, the unit number installed on my gate fell off. This already raised serious concerns about the workmanship and overall quality. The most frustrating incident happened last night when I was locked outside my own home. The gate’s digital lock repeatedly failed to recognise my fingerprint and kept displaying an error. Although I eventually managed to unlock the gate using the spare key, the digital lock continued to malfunction and created further difficulty with access. At this point, the overall experience makes me feel as though I have purchased a second-hand or poorly tested product rather than a properly installed new system. I have specifically requested the salesperson to escalate these issues to management so that they can be addressed properly and directly. However, I have yet to be contacted by anyone from management. For something as important as a home’s main gate and digital locking system, reliability, workmanship, security and after-sales support are fundamental expectations — not optional extras. I sincerely hope the management will take ownership of this matter and provide a proper resolution instead of leaving the customer to repeatedly follow up on problems that should not be happening with a newly installed product.

I had a wonderful experience from the enquiry stage right through to the installation of my toilet doors. Lucas, the salesperson, was extremely patient in answering all my questions and was very sincere and detailed in the explanations. Took the time to guide me through the different options, which made the decision-making process much easier. The workman who came to install the doors was also very kind, polite and cheerful. The installation experience was smooth and pleasant. Most importantly, I absolutely love the designs! ❤️ The finished doors look even more beautiful than I expected, and they have really enhanced the overall look of the space. Thank you, Lucas and the team, for the excellent service, patience and beautiful workmanship. Very happy with the final result and highly recommended!

We had our main metal gate and wooden door custom made by TDS. The communication among the internal teams were not perfect, many alterations along the way until the installation day. But I still give a 5-star review because they have the right attitude for custom designs, willing to solve the design issues even onsite. It wasn't a smooth process but I'm satisfied with the final product & solution given to me. Thanks to the patient salesperson Eunice and problem solver installer Asha!

Highly recommended. The workers and staff who installed the door are friendly and nice. Even though there are hiccups in the installation of the door, but it is still a good experience overall. Initially wanted a soundproof door so I contacted eunice (the salesperson) for recommendations. My door was a hollow door which was terrible for soundproofing. When asked, eunice didnt seem to be very sure of which material to recommend for soundproofing.. in the end, she told me about a nyatoh door - which is not fully soundproof either but after doing research, it seemed to be better for noise cancellation than my current door. After installation, there wasn't a difference at all. To be honest, i felt that it was a waste of money. I guess their speciality isnt soundproofing... Edit: contacted eunice and she told me that there is no way i can get a refund. I am quite disappointed with the lack of transparency and product knowledge. They definitely need to work on their services. Also, i think being upfront is the best way to gain a cutsomers trust. If she genuinely didnt know what to recommend and which material is soundproof, she could just be upfront that TDS's door are not known to be soundproof. Disappointed with the lack of transparency and honesty as well as product knowledge overall.

Eunice is very patient in explaining and recommending the door that suit our need. Especially the door handle when I request suit for senior to open n lock she recommend the lever type n suggest to touch n try the lever that we feel comfortable.
