Very responsive to our concerns and queries regarding the issues related to the HIP water-test. In the end, we didn't have to get their services. But their timely responses left me very assured of their professionalism. Will definitely contact them if I do need their services in future.

I have engaged Vtech twice, for two different jobs. They have well skilled and dedicated teams for different sorts of jobs. They made sure that they did a good job each time, so no follow up repairs are required. The price is as quoted, and no hidden cost after the job is completion.

5 stars. Had a spalling concrete issue and contacted VTech for an appointment. Shirley from customer service was super responsive even on a weekend and they arranged for specialist Mr Asad to come for an inspection. Quotation received immediately after inspection via WhatsApp with reasonable price and booked a day to conduct the works. The works were completed promptly within a day with no issues. Highly recommend for a fast and hassle free fix for water leakage issues.

Was having some roof leaking problems n most contractors or specialists asked me to replace the whole roof. Those few contractors that attempted to help me just did not fix the problem. Asad from Vtech came to assess the problems. Besides the roof leaking, water leakage found on the downstairs room ceiling. Asad was able to pinpoint the cause of it immediately, much to my surprise. It was not due to the roof leaking but the drainage pipe from the master bathroom. It was solved by doing some PU grouting. Saddam and his team did a good job n i am most impressed by their work ethics especially in covering up my furniture etc . Shirley who was coordinating with me on the quotation, work in progress n follow-up, was very pleasant to talk to. They responded very fast when I gave them feedback. Surprisingly, Shirley even contacted me to ask if everything is ok after about 3 months. I would definitely recommend Vtech for waterproofing jobs and their prices are reasonable.

We recently engaged Vtech for my parents to resolve a persistent toilet ceiling leak, which required coordination with the upstairs neighbour. The scope of work included replacing the U-body of the upstairs floor trap pipe and carrying out waterproofing at the effected area. Despite the challenges of dealing with a difficult upstairs neighbour, the team was extremely patient, professional, and accommodating throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain the issues clearly, handled the situation calmly, and ensured that the work was completed properly without cutting corners. We truly appreciate their dedication and persistence in seeing this through. The workmanship was solid, and the leak issue has been resolved effectively. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and responsive waterproofing services.

Be careful when using this VTech. I had used them previously on 2 separate occasions and service was initially good. However, after less than a year, there were some issues with their workmanship and I requested follow up repairs. I was charged $500/- and requiered to pay a deposit before they would show up. First of all, on the scheduled day, their customer service Shirley, sent the team to wrong location and eventually only one worker showed up and worked on the crack in the wall(which they repaired befor). The worker informed me the 2 'water blisters' in the wall will be done the following week by another team. The attitude from Shirley was that all these make good/re-works can be classified by them as a new job or make good works allowing them to bill the customer at will. Shirley did not want to listen to the customer and only wanted hear herself make excuses. Let the buyer beware when dealing with this company. 3 years ago, first time I used Vtech, they had deployed scaffolding at site and after the first day works, Vtech removed scaffolding to another site without informing the customer and no works for one whole day. Scaffolding costs charged to my account were never reduced. This company obviously had internal management and organisational issues which has todate not been addressed. At the end of the day, the customer pays the price.

    Response from the business

Hi Mr. Lionel, thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify a few points in response to your review: 1. Deposit: Collecting a deposit prior to any arrangement and commencement of works is a standard industry practice. This term is indicated in our quotation and made known to all clients before they agree and proceed with any works. 2. Warranty: The warranty for the previous works ended in December 2024. We conducted an inspection and sent new quotation in July 2025. Job was only confirmed recently on Wednesday 25 Feb 2026, after you contacted us and asked for a discount. Although the quotation was agreed upon, you later asked for the charges to be waived when the worker was about to complete the works. When our worker attempted to collect the outstanding balance after completion of works, payment was refused and he was shouted by you. 3. Reoccurrence Works: At no point did we state that reoccurring works still under warranty would be considered as new job. During the phone conversation, you proposed the rectification works to be done on Monday 02 March morning which Shirley responded that we will arrive between 10am to 11am. You insisted that we come at 10am sharp and Shirley explained that we are unable to reach 10am sharp as we have a few locations to drop-off in the morning. You began to shout at her despite her effort in trying to explain and deemed that as an excuse. Our intention was not to give excuses, but to avoid overpromising to our clients. We also attempted to reconfirm the Monday schedule at 3:04pm and 3:52pm, and only received confirmation from you at 4:02pm. 4. Past Incident: 3 years ago, you threatened to sue us when our team didn’t greet you in the morning and also shouted at our specialist. Kindly note that Scaffolding was only charged during the period that it was used and required. We do not impose additional or unnecessary charges on our clients. 5. Continued Engagement
We believe our professionalism and workmanship have met your expectations, as you have engaged our services four times since the first incident. 6. Respectful Communication: We maintain a zero-tolerance stance toward any form of abuse or mistreatment directed at our staff and workers. While we remain committed to delivering professional service and quality workmanship, we expect all communication to be conducted with mutual respect. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

Had a leak in the roof after a continuous monsoon rain. Tried calling a couple of companies with no response as it was CNY. Vtech answered very swiftly, came the next day to inspect and all works completed over the weekend. Kudos to the team who went above and beyond to fix ,waterproof and gave a new look to the roof.

I WhatsApp them for an appointment and got a reply immediately. They arranged for Mr Asad to come the very next day to view and give a free consultation. I was given a quotation via WhatsApp and we managed to set up a work day almost immediately. The two workmen were very professional and arrived at 10am sharp. They covered the necessary area well and started work immediately. They sealed the outside and inside well and touched up the affected areas very well. The price was very reasonable too! Very happy to have engaged them.

14. 5.0Adrian N.9 Jan 2026

The company is very responsive and able to resolve the water seepage promptly. During the rectification work, the workers took extra care to minimise dust to the surrounding environment and did a proper clean-up after the job. Generally, the work is acceptable.

15. 5.0Doreen H.3 Jan 2026

I requested for the work done on my spalling concrete in the toilet. Prompt response even on NYE. Very satisfied with the completed work by Vtech Waterproofing. They laid down plastic covers & ensure minimum dust. Will definitely recommend them! Keep up the great work!

16. 5.0Vincent L.16 Dec 2025

Very fast. Site visit same day of request, workers repair next day. Also covered furniture to reduce dust, and repainted affected area after waterproofing.

My dad flat had a ceiling leak due to upstairs neighbour not having properly installed their air con piping. Called a few company and most of them are not specialised in such work and are just subcontracting it with a markup and most of them wants $50 just to have a site visit. Unless you are able to use the HDB goodwill fund which is applicable if your toilet and balcony area leak, meaning only those area which have default waterproofing leaks due to wear and tear then only you and neighbour can tap the fund. So if you are lucky enough, those listed contractors on HDB website which are big companies will respond as they are gonna justify a huge bill to use the fund and you pay a pittance. If not, they don’t even bother about your business. So after some research, I found vtech which have a free and no obligation site visit and they are direct specialist for such works. The price quoted is very reasonable and they do HDB customers unlike most such companies are just sharpening their knife for that unfortunate landed property owner with a roof problem. Just like how air con installation cost are vastly different based on property. So I highly recommend Vtech. Shirely is the lady you wanna speak with. On the day of the work, everything is properly covered with floor taped up and everything completed within a few hours. I did high pressure PU

18. 5.0Mike L.2 Dec 2025

In a lot of cases the true worth of a waterproofing company only gets tested after a heavy rain and sometimes it make take 2 or 3 weeks for it to occur. Vtech has been thoroughly professional and responsive in terms of touching up the waterproofing even after the job was supposedly done a few weeks ago. I cannot say enough to recommend Vtech if you have water leaking issues.

19. 5.0SB N.2 Dec 2025

The management is receptive to feedback and accommodating. This is the second time I engaged this contractor. So far, they have done the jobs well

20. 5.0Su J.24 Nov 2025

Their service is excellent. They came highly recommended by my friend who used them for both her properties. The workers were very professional and polite. They managed to settle all the leaks and concerns. They handed over finished work without delay. I live in a landed property and the roof was leaking. They did an excellent job at settling the problem.

21. 5.0Paul L.9 Nov 2025

Excellent service! Lots of patience in explaining the source of leak and it could be rectified. Strongly recommended!

27. 5.0Johnny S.3 Sep 2025

We had a pipe burst issue behind our toilet wall. We contacted VTech and they responded promptly with a non-obligational visit. Problem was assessed and quote raised expediently. The prices quoted was reasonable. More importantly, work was carried out promptly and they did a very good job at it. My leaked pipes were replaced, my leaked ceiling patched up and repainted. They function well now and look as good as new. I highly recommend them to my friends that needed such services.

28. 5.0ec P.21 Aug 2025

Prior before engaging them, I had asked many contractors to come and take a look at my house leakage problem. Vtech's staff came and gave me a quote. They came and they solved the leakage problem.

29. 5.0Alex Y.16 Aug 2025

Highly satisfied and recommended. I did a google search on roof leaking solutions and Vtech Waterproofing popped up. Saw that they had high ratings on google and decided to engage their services. Their replies are prompt and professional. The people who diagnosed the issue and did the repair works on my leaky roof were very knowledgeable and friendly as well. The repair works took 2 days to complete. It rained heavily the following day and the issue looks like it has been resolved. Satisfied and would recommend to others.

30. 5.0Bing Q.13 Aug 2025

Their service was good and they are friendly. After the work, they did a simple tidy up of the area. Admin Coordinator Shirley is able to give advice and coordinate well with the inspector. However, do note that everything should be discussed and ensure the inspector took down the details and do a double check what will be reported. Because anything not informed clearly to the inspector, he might not report it and the workers will not do that portion. But they are helpful, assist to clarify with the inspector thus they continue with that portion. But the period is quite stressful. Lucky the job was done nicely so far. 2 room hdb beam leaking

Great service , quotation was given at a reasonable price . Worker name Hussin was very friendly..Hopefully grouting and Nano hydrophobic waterproof coating will solved my water seepage issue.

32. 5.0Wilma M.6 Aug 2025

Clear and fast communication with personnel

33. 5.0Dave R.4 Aug 2025

After the HDB appointed contractor fixed the water seepage through the external wall, it continued to leak each time it rained. Vtech managed to fix it and this was a couple of years ago. Last week they helped with another seepage at a different location on another external wall. So far so good. Thanks to Miss Shirley, who has always help with the appointments etc.

Recently, on 28 June 2025, V-Tech helped us to do waterproofing works and fix the spalling concrete on our wall. Works are well done and the workers were very patient explaining the process when we asked them. They also diligently ensure that the site is reasonably cleaned before leaving. Good job and good experience with the workers on site.

    Not recommended, unprofessional, irresponsible.

47. 5.0Veron L.28 Jan 2025

Engaged Vtech for an on-site assessment. Asad came and did a thorough survey as best as he can to identify where the leakage is. On the day of work, 2 workers were assigned for the job. They did another round to confirm where the leakage spots were and went the extra mile to try to confirm if there are any other leakage spots. Overall, v professional! Happy to have engaged them.

48. 5.0Suha N.23 Jan 2025

I had a major issue of water seepage in my HDB apartment. Called/sourced a few waterproofing/plumbing companies to check out the issue - VTech was the only one that managed to successfully identify the problem within the first consultation visit. They were also super speedy with their response even though it was late at night when I first messaged them. They were very professional and could tell they know their stuff. Ran into some issues during the fix but they were able to troubleshoot and come up with workarounds on the spot. Very clear about costing/pricing - had an itemised quotation and detailed plan to fix the leak prior to starting work. They also followed up after 1 month to ensure the fix was still working well. 10/10 would recommend!
