Would definitely recommend ZLC for your renovation. Vythis did a great job in planning and designing and converting our house into a beautiful home and Ronald for making sure the idea is implemented meticulously. We are very happy with how it turned out and that we chose ZLC for this journey.

2nd time coming back to ZLC who is our trusted renovating company. Vy was very on the ball. As we only realised that the bottom kitchen cabinet was rotting due to water leakage right before June holidays, Vy was able to help use ensure everything was done within 1 month from the time we decided on all the required fixing. The recommendations they gave given our budget and condition of the cabinets were well thought through, giving us the pros and cons and in the end we decided to redo the whole bottom cabinet which we were thankful for as we realised that there was a very bad case of ants infestation. They got the pest control in to give the house a check and guided us on what to do to remove the infestation. Subsequent works went on smoothly with minimal wasted time. We love our new kitchen. Thank you once again. Will definitely recommend ZLC and Vy for reno works

My wife and I came across ZL construction for our previous flat, and we were very satisfied with their work and built-in carpentries, value-for-money and good service. Hence we reengaged them and we were not disappointed. Vy (ID) and Ronald (Project Manager) were assigned to us this time. They were attentive to details, listening to our needs throughout the way, and provided their inputs from their experience and expertise. They were able to provide us with visualization of the outcome, which greatly informed our decisions, helping us to keep within our budget. They were also helpful with our requests post-reno, providing various adjustments and rectifications needed. We were very satisfied with the work done, as the overall aesthetic and quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend them for any renovation work.

We engaged the team from ZLC for the renovation of our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, which, due to its overall shape, has many odd angles and oddly-shaped spaces, adding to the project's complexity. The finished result was beyond our expectations, with a clean, modern look that will serve us for many years to come. Designer Vy and Project Manager Ronald were able to take our requirements, wants and sometimes, last-minute changes, and turn these into a sensible solution that we could be proud of. They were very accommodating in addressing our countless questions and concerns, while ensuring we made the necessary decisions at the right time to keep the project on track. At the same time, they helped us understand the impact of these decisions. We were impressed with their commitment to ensuring that what was being delivered met our expectations while addressing issues correctly. They also ensured we were at ease with the work happening on-site at any given time. A big thanks to Vy and Ronald for their patience, effort, and support from the greater ZLC team in delivering a lovely result. It was a pleasure to have them work on our renovation project. We have been proud to show the result of all this work to visiting family and friends.

ZLC has been recommended to me by 3 of my friends. My friends are generally quite particular about quality of carpentry, functionality and service (much more so than replicating a popular interior design style out of Qanvast). So when they recommended ZLC to me, I had a good feeling I was in good hands! Unsure whether ZLC is design-centric or more of a contractor/project manager sort, I went ahead to “design” my ideal space with Google Slides 😂 Since the day I met up with my assigned project manager Athan on Zoom, to this very day, you have no idea how grateful I am. Grateful that not only did a dodgy ID firm not botch my house and run away with my money (considering all the nightmare stories), and also incredibly grateful that I met a very knowledgeable designer and project manager grounded on good values. In Chinese we call this a 贵人 😂 Athan is design and archi-trained, and I suppose that’s why he is super knowledgeable in the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of things, beyond the design and aesthetics aspect. He understands that ergonomics and functionality come first, and is able to articulate and explain very well to all my questions. He has generally good product knowledge of fittings and materials also. I am the kind who has five million questions from Stage 1 to Stage 10 and so far he has answered every of my question. Beyond his knowledge and coordination skills, I think what’s impeccable is his ethics. Every step of the way, he has been very accountable and very responsive. A few times there were some timeline and design issues to troubleshoot, he always went out of the way to help me out and eventually resolved the problems. Some of the things he did, he didn’t have to do so but did it out of his own goodwill. My handover is very soon and the space is 99% done. It has been a very assuring journey thus far. So far, the quality of carpentry, tiling and electrical works is great. Big thank you to ZLC for their timely delivery of milestones, and their strong and skilful team of in-house contractors!

This is our 2nd home and it was also our 2nd time doing renovation. From the very first meeting with Athan and Jake, they gave us the impression that they are reliable and won’t recommend us to follow reno trends just for the sake of it. We shared with Athan what we wanted for our home, he patiently listened to us and took down notes. He also shared with us his thoughts and ideas, at the same time highlighting what works and what doesn’t. We were on a very tight schedule to move in by a certain date, and we’re so glad they were able to deliver within the timeline. Over the course of the renovation, Athan was always very responsive to our questions and concerns. While we were overseas during the renovation, he diligently kept us updated about the progress. He also always tries his very best to solve any issues that arose during that time. Overall, we really appreciate his candor and sincere efforts throughout our entire reno journey! We definitely won’t hesitate to recommend ZLC, particularly designer Athan, to any of our friends and family.

Got ZLC to do some minor installation works in my home as I hit a snag when I tried to install myself. Again, v happy with their workmanship and the knowledge of their supervisor. Even gave me free “tuition” on what I should have done in future.

ZLC has always been close to the heart. Jake and his team has done a great job building up our first home. Even until today Jake and his team remains in touch with me whenever I need housing fixes and advice. Just a tip top group of people 👍🏻👍🏻

Engaged Jake for a pre-purchase appraisal and it was a smooth process. He replied promptly and knows his stuff well. His insights were really helpful and gave me more confidence in making my decision. Overall, a positive experience and would recommend if you need a reliable surveyor for your property purchase! 👍

An amazing company with a great team to work with. I was very excited about my BTO but because of its size (2RM Flexi) I was concerned that I will have difficulty to find a contractor who would spare the time on such a tiny project. Not ZLC. No project is too small for them. I collaborated with its design team Athan over a span of 2 years; starting off with just a prelim discussion to identify that this is the contractor I want to do my home and from there we touched base occasionally. My dream home was created finally in April 2025 all thanks to Athan and his team for the ideas and the frank exchanges of what is doable and what is not. Thanks also to Jun and all others who contributed to finishing this tiny job. Despite minor challenges encountered, they are always ready to rethink, regroup and deliver. To all 2RM BTO owners to be, do not let size faze you. A good contractor with a good design team is able to do wonders to space and create your dream home. I found mine in ZLC team.

Jake and his capable and committed team exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Be it recommending the right solution, optimising costs and diligently working to meet timelines maintaining the quality that was promised. Our project manager Benson deserves a special mention for his commitment and always attending to the details with a smile. It has been a pleasure working with Jake and team and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for quality work and professional service. Thank you, team ZLC.

Thanks to ID Athan's expert advise, handholding and patience in explaining things to us, we were able to turn our dream home into a reality. Also shoutout to June for great project management work! Thank you ZLC team for a job well done!

We recently engaged ZLC to renovate our 5-room resale flat (>38yrs old). Top notch service from Athan, Benson & June throughout the entire renovation journey. The communication was open, transparent and frequent. Their boss, Jake was very supportive of the entire team such that works were executed efficiently without much “red tapes”. Our assigned designer, Athan, was prompt in replying even on weekends and very dedicated with our renovation requirements. He was highly responsive, thoughtful and receptive to feedback and changes. Athan was also very transparent on his renovation costing and project timeline, including advise on the feasibility of some challenging carpentry features/functions we asked for. Along the way, we did face some minor hiccups in detailing but they were promptly and professionally resolved. Overall, the project was well-managed with minimal rectifications needed. We are very glad we selected ZLC for this major house renovation and would be more than happy to work with them again. This is a very reliable team indeed. Kudos to Jake, Athan, Benson, June & the rest of the team for your good work/service. We are delighted with our cosy new home... Highly recommended !👍🏼

This is the 2nd time we have engaged ZLC to design and renovate our place, given the excellent workmanship and experience we had the first time. ZLC has delivered once again. Throughout the renovation process, we have been kept updated at each stage of the renovation process. While there have been hiccups, ZLC has quickly fixed them. We are truly grateful for Jake and his team to deliver yet another masterpiece that we can call our home. Special thanks to Sean, the chief designer who came up with the design concept while making purposeful tweaks along the way, and Benson, the onsite manager to ensure everything is on track. Well done ZLC!

The team that supported my renovation project—Jake, Lewis, Jun, and all their team members—was incredibly patient, responsive, and professional throughout the process, making the experience much smoother and more reassuring for me. Their excellent communication skills stood out, ensuring I was kept informed and involved every step of the way. Pre-Renovation Stage: Jake took the time to walk me through the proposed renovation plans in great detail. He patiently addressed my questions and concerns, making multiple rounds of revisions to the proposal with understanding and a genuine commitment to aligning with my goals and budget. His attention to detail and willingness to listen gave me confidence as we prepared to move forward. During Renovation: Lewis, Jun, and their team demonstrated remarkable responsiveness to unexpected changes that arose during the project. Lewis, in particular, was accommodating and resourceful, always striving to find practical alternatives whenever we hit roadblocks. Their ability to adapt and think on their feet ensured that the project not only stayed on track but was completed ahead of schedule—an outcome I deeply appreciated. While there were a few hiccups along the way, they tackled each challenge quickly and effectively, keeping the momentum going and alleviating any stress. Post-Renovation Support: Even after the renovation was completed, Jun went above and beyond to assist me. While I was overseas, I faced an issue with the water heater, and Jun promptly stepped in to resolve it. Her willingness to go the extra mile, even after the main work was done, truly highlighted the team’s dedication to their clients. This team’s professionalism, care, and commitment to delivering a positive experience made my renovation journey a rewarding one. I’m grateful for their hard work and would happily recommend them to others.

We recently engaged the ZLC team for our first-ever renovation, and the experience exceeded our expectations. As newcomers to the process, we had numerous questions and concerns, but the team was incredibly patient and kind, guiding us with clarity and professionalism every step of the way. A special shoutout to Lewis, Jake, and Benson, whose dedication and expertise truly made a difference. Their responsiveness and clear communication stood out, and they were always ready to address our concerns with a positive attitude. Even after the handover, they went above and beyond, making extra trips to promptly resolve a tiling issue, which we deeply appreciated. The ZLC team’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction gave us peace of mind throughout the process. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking reliable and professional renovation services.

ZLC Dear Whom Concerned, It has been a pleasure collaboration with Athan and his team in ZLC. From the concept till the completion, my family and I are most impressed with the professionalism, teamwork and conscientious conception and execution of the plan and work. In spite of us only required partial renovation, greatly appreciated the painstaking effort to modify the existing wardrobe to accommodating seeming tricky concept and we are delighted with the completion. We are most impressed with Athan, electrician, supervisor, carpenter and painters in putting their pride and creativity. My family are so glad and grateful with the workmanship and timely progress by Athan and ZLC team! Thank you. Celine & Richard

ZLC has officially handover my renovated unit to me today on schedule, and I would like to express my gratitude by giving a big thanks to the whole team especially Sean and Jun! The whole renovation journey started in April with the first discussion with Sean on my requirements, design concepts and budget etc. The process was smooth sailing with many good design works and recommendations from him all the way till the materials selection. Thereafter, renovation works commenced and Jun had managed the on site work closely with Sean and us. All the planned works were done well and all issues were resolved promptly. Both Sean and Jun are professional in their works and we are pleased to see our brand new home finally comes to shape from design to real actual completed works in front of our eyes. High quality workmanship, all on schedule! Kudos to both of them once again, and not forgetting the boss Jake whom I know is supporting and advising them strongly and quietly from the back. Highly recommended to anyone who wants their dream home to become a reality!

Did minor renovations with ZLC (partition works and wardrobe carpentry) and the service, speed and dedication to timeline exceeded my expectations. My past renovation projects have been stressful and delayed but Lewis managed this project very seamlessly and is always responsive. He understands customers needs well and gave me no headaches. The carpentry and partition workmanship is also good and nothing to nitpick. Definitely a rare gem in the market.

Tldr: Trusted and transparent - put your renovation needs in their safe hands! I got to know ZLC via word-of-mouth in my shortlisting of local ID firms. After getting in touch, Jake, Sean and Benson from ZLC responded quickly to my write-in. They were able to address the end to end renovation needs of my new home, from design, material selection, cleaning and delivery. They provided many helpful advice on the finer aspects of the renovation process, which is of tremendous help for first time home owner. Even after delivery, they remain very prompt in providing touch ups. I would strongly recommend their service!

I was introduced to Z L Construction through my relative who has been working with the company for a while. When I reached out to Jake, I was pleasantly surprised that the company would be interested to do a small job like mine. Their carpenters were very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done and were proactive with suggestions. The discussion with the lead carpenter was easy as he knew his work very well, and subsequently, timelines were met and the execution of the work was seamless too. They were above and beyond to deliver a good experience for me. I will go back to them if I need to do any renovation works.
