Lazy and unprofessional
If you have false ceiling or difficult jobs he might not be good enough.
Found viswan online as it's a Sunday so all my regular electricians and handyman were busy.
He asked for -
1- 40$ transport fees per trip
2- 50$ troubleshoot power
The problem was specific - there are cables burning smell and smoke from the ceiling
Viswan came , check 1 light - and concluded no issues with lightings and wiring. Must be the Aircon issue. Asked us to contact Aircon tech. So we paid him $90.
However the next day, the power tripped and all lights are not working.
Viswan insisted that we have to pay another transport and checking fee - for this NEW problem.
But the tenant do not want him , they asked for someone who can speak English. And clearly it's the same issue which he failed to address yesterday.
Then we got a handyman who checked all the lights in the area and found the burnt lights fittings and burnt cables. That isn't far from the light that viswan check.
The handyman says any experienced guy will be able to solve the problem as it takes effort to check all lights and cables for the false ceiling.
So beware so so call professional electrician who are out there for transport and trouble shoot fee - but unable to perform .

Having an emergency power trip that we couldn’t resolve on our own. Contacted them as they were advertised as 24/7 emergency service that have staffs “stationed at every area” and will “respond and dispatch immediately”.
Called them twice with no respond. Resorted to texting them in the end just for them to say, word for word: “Sorry can not i am still working very busy”.
Not even a proper message with greeting, nor any acknowledgement, nor a sincere apology. What kind of 24/7 service is this. False advertising. Already in distress from the matter, chose to contact them as thought they will be reliable, but guess not.

This is utterly ridiculous. First they will say they need the payment upfront before services was even made for the installation. And then they will do things halfway and not update us when they can come back to finish it up. Knowing that they are online on WhatsApp yet refusing to pick up a call and even by then also still cannot tell us when they can come back. My house look like a wreck now because of the unfinished installation. Will never ever come back for their services again

Took them 1 month to reply my enquiry - only to get an answer of "sorry no time to do"
So anyone who is urgently needing electrical services, this is for your consideration.

I had two switches in my DB box that were burnt, and AVV Electric came down on the morning of NDP to replace them. Everything seemed fine after that, but at around 11pm, the burning smell came back and became noticeably stronger.
Having just experienced burnt components in the DB box, I was naturally very worried that something might be overheating again. I urgently contacted them, and I really appreciate that the boss personally came down around midnight to inspect the DB box despite the late hour.
Thankfully, after checking, there was no new burning. The burnt-plastic smell from the earlier damage was still lingering and would take some time to fully dissipate.
What I really appreciate is the sense of responsibility. Instead of simply assuring me over the phone that everything should be fine, the boss actually made the trip down at midnight to check and make sure it was safe.
Thank you for taking my concern seriously and giving me peace of mind. Otherwise, I would probably have had another sleepless night worrying about the DB box! 🙏
Really appreciate the responsible after-service.

Best in Singapore. They replied to my query fast. The staffs were all polite and smart. Handled my matter quickly. You get the best for quality and price. I made a lot of query to a lot of electrician, they were the quickest to talk to and also the easiest to communicate etc. If there's a checklist, they definitely fill all of them. Thank you!

Had a 2.5 years old BTO 40A RCCB failed on me at night. Strong burning smell and breaker busbar temperature at 130 degrees C. Luckily it didn’t catch fire. Called AVV as I didn’t have spare breakers. Response was quick and pricing was very reasonable. Came down in 30 minutes and completed the job in 20 minutes.
But technician did not align the breaker on the rail properly and became slanted. He says is different product dimension but come on, all breaker regardless of brand should not have such big difference until box cannot fit. Instead he cut out a space on the plastic breaker box before I realise their oversight.

I’ve worked with AVV Electricals twice now, first for my office and then for my home. Both times, they were efficient, helpful, and resolved the issues properly. Their pricing was clear, transparent, and upfront, with no overcharging, which is always a concern when calling electricians. Akash and his teammate were especially friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Came to fix my flicking led light for toilet, and was told wiring is loose and he just screw & fix it back the wire. I changed 1 of dimmer light switches was charged for $90. (Including transport) i was happy. However, the
next day, the light flickering again and another technician came and was told that i need to change the whole thing and I decided not to proceed as I wanted a 2nd opinion. Was told by the boss on the phone to pay for transport and I told him off that they did not do a proper check on the 1st day. Im not going to pay again since it was not done and explained properly on the 1st visit.

The electrician service has been very disappointing. The pricing keeps changing, and there seems to be poor coordination between the admins and the contractor. I don’t understand why the price keeps increasing.
The amount itself is not the issue, but the lack of transparency is seriously concerning. They keep adding $10 each time without proper explanation. I’m unsure whether these undisclosed charges are legitimate or if they are being added by the contractor for personal gain.
Please investigate this matter and look into the contractor, Moorthy/Murthy. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with this contractor due to these concerning practices.
I hope the admins can take this seriously and resolve it promptly.
