August 4, 2026 - My home in Rivervale. Over the weekend, I searched online for the contact information of this HDB plumber SG company and found Ah Ping. On Tuesday, they immediately came to my home to inspect the plumbing, pointing out the problem with the pipes in the neighborhood and explaining clearly which parts needed replacing. They finished the work that day in 9 hours, installing all the materials before 6 pm, and even cleaned the house. If you need plumbing or electrical work done, please contact Ah Ping. Ah Ping's service is excellent 👍 and they are very hardworking.

Mr Ping arrived within 30 min of my phone call and did a swift job of changing the leaking tap. He also noticed that there is some serious clogging in the kitchen sink pipe, and recommended to change it. Thank God we did, because the clogging was very bad and the water took a long time to go down. You can see from the photos he took, how badly clogged the pipe was.

There was a strong sewage smell coming from our bathroom for two days. It seemed like the smell was coming from the ceiling. We made a booking, and Mr. Ping arrived promptly. He carefully inspected the bathroom and the surrounding area, then checked the ceiling. He explained that sewage water was leaking from the ceiling. He said the necessary equipment was in Woodlands, so he went to get it. About an hour later, he returned and started the repair work. Mr. Ping showed us that the old pipe was filled with sewage. We were shocked to see it, and the smell was extremely strong. He removed the old damaged pipe and replaced it with a new one. He paid great attention to every detail, cleaned everything thoroughly, and even dried the floor before finishing the job. Thank you for your excellent service. We are very satisfied with the work and highly recommend Mr. Ping.

We had an excellent experience with Mr. Ping. He is extremely knowledgeable and clearly knows his trade inside out. Mr.Ping took the time to explain the problem clearly, giving us confidence that the issue was in good hands. What impressed most was his professionalism and confidence in his work. Mr. Ping is trustworthy, and charges reasonable with justifiable breakdowns and without compromising on the quality of service. After completing the job, he ensure everything was cleaned up, neat and tidy. Mr. Ping is friendly, and easy to talk to. It’s obvious that he is passionate about what he does, and that dedication shows in the quality of his workmanship. We will engage him again when we require plumbing works. There is no need to try searching for other plumbers to compare. I tried to engage few others before Mr Ping but decided to engage his services because others are either unwilling to follow up, do not want to reply or not willing to provide even estimated range of cost on repair.

8. 5.024 Jul 2026

Mr. Ping deserves a 5 star and not a 4.9 star due to a negative review extortion scam. How unfortunate. Anyways, he is super reliable and very meticulous, he cleans up after the job is completed. Very honest and charge reasonably. Highly recommended. Engage him with a peace of mind. Excellent tradesman.

9. 5.0Tpl8 Jul 2026

Mr Ping did a very good job. Fast and clean. Highly recommend.

10. 5.0Amy L.5 Jul 2026

Highly recommend!! Our old tap was leaking, and Mr Ping responded very quickly and was able to come down on the next day (a Saturday!) to resolve the issue. He explained the issue very clearly and walked through the steps he was going to take to resolve the issue, and was very patient in answering all our questions. After changing the tap, he made sure to check for leaks / blockages in the pipes, and helped to clear a block in our water drainage system. Very detailed work, and he cleaned up the area nicely afterwards too. He also went above and beyond to help us take a look at the other taps/showers in the house.

I am very satisfied with the service provided by Mr. Ping. He came to my house to fix my leaking toilet bowl and was very experienced and knowledgeable in his work. He quickly identified the problem and repaired it efficiently. What impressed me most was that he also noticed a leaking tap that I had overlooked. He explained the issue clearly, and I decided to replace the tap as well. The work was carried out professionally and to a high standard. Mr. Ping is reliable, honest, and skilled. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a trustworthy plumber.

I contacted Mr Ping for a suspected concealed kitchen water pipe leakage. He was very responsive and came over promptly to investigate the issue. He professionally drilled and opened the wall to inspect the concealed pipe, and carefully diagnosed that the leakage was actually coming from the unit above, not from my own water pipe. He explained the situation clearly and was very friendly throughout the process. I really appreciate his patience, workmanship, and professionalism. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable plumber!

Highly recommended plumber! I contacted Mr. Ping to fix a choked bathroom sink basin, and he quickly and correctly diagnosed the issue. He also helped fix the shower area drain while he was here. Very professional workmanship and he came fully equipped with all the proper tools needed to get the job done properly. He also helped create an additional tap point by cutting the water pipe and installing a T-junction, and the work was done very neatly and professionally. What impressed me most was that he cleaned up everything after completing the work. Pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of service provided. Reliable, skilled, professional, and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Plumber Ah ping communicated clearly when we first contacted him via watsapp. He came highly recommended by a co worker. He arrived earlier than promised and was very well equiped with all that was needed for the work including personal fan and light to assist his work . His was fast to get to work and explained clearly the pros and cons of each service/charges. He did not hard sell but rather left us to decide what was best for ourselves. The work took about an hour to change a new hose and valve under the toilet bowl, affixed a bidet holder and change the pipe under the sink , , , all in the communal toilet . After all that, he patched up the holes left by the old bidet holder, cleaned and even dried my toilet floor . He is the first ever plumber whom I have engaged to leave the site dry and sparkling clean. I was so impressed by his work. He truly takes pride in his job and makes sure the place is tidy ,debris cleaned before leaving the site. Oh forgot to mention that his charges are reasonable too for the job so well done! Highly recommend!

I came to know Mr Ping thru my brother friend.about his service. My master bedroom bathroom basin was leaking and I contacted him. He came and advised on the action to stopped the leakage. He ran external piping to the bathroom basin instead of hacking some of the bathroom tiles. This stopped the water leakage. He did a good job and I find him to be knowledgeable, humble and passionate in his job. After finishing the job, he cleans up the bathroom and did some testing to ensure there there are no more leakage.before he leaves. I have sent his contact to one of my friend who asked for his details after seeing the job he has done for me. Attached are the photos of the job.

His workmanship is very clean and neat, and he pays attention to the finishing details. You can tell he takes pride in his work. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a reliable plumber!

23. 5.0Roy Y.7 Apr 2026

Super efficient, tidy, easy to deal with, punctual and mostly importantly, fuss-free. I had a terrible water leak from within the walls and was expecting a major repair involving hacking, but Ah Ping recommended an alternative solution that was far more practical, fuss-free, and cost-effective. Really appreciate the honest advice and workmanship. Will definitely contact Ah Ping again if I need any plumbing work. Cannot recommend enough.

24. 5.0Kenneth T.3 Apr 2026

Very seldom I will feel it’s money well spent when I engage a service. My unit is an old resale flat with narrow main water pipe, all along my washing machine drainage was slow and always water will overflow out of water trap then will subside after a while. No choice, just treated it as old flat drainage issue. 2 days ago, after upstairs neighbour used their washing machine, their soapy water flooded out from my bathroom water trap. I was like what’s wrong, never happened before. The water eventually subsided, however it’s like a sign something bad is going to happen. Yesterday, when using my washing machine, the water could not drain at all and flooded my kitchen floor. The kitchen and bathroom share S trap towards the main water drainage pipe of all units upstairs onwards. The cause of the choke could be many things. It was a Sunday night, really emergency and search google for a credible plumber. Found HDB plumber SG with very good reviews, and I was thinking ‘legit’ or not. Out of desperation, give Ah Ping a call. As it was super late already, he promised to come the next day. He was super punctual. Told him what happened. He did some thinking and told him what needs to be done. Gave me the price. When I see him at work, I feel so lucky that he’s not some part-time handyman out to make a quick buck. He used proper machine and cleared the choke and all the debris that was stuck inside that had caused the slow drainage all these years. I am so happy with his work that I even had some old sink water trap changed as well as things were wearing out. He cleaned up so nicely my floor after all the works. I recommend finding Ah Ping for your plumbing issues. When I talk with him, I know he has vast experience. The pricing is what is paid for good workmanship. At least you can have a peace of mind that the issue is resolved after you paid. Next time any of my relatives or friends ask if I know a good plumber, I know who to recommend.

We live in a condo (lower unit) and plumbing has been an ongoing issue for us. Last night, I noticed the shower drain starting to clog and immediately told my husband, “it’s happening again.” When we tried flushing the toilet, we heard that worrying bubbling sound. It was already quite late, so we waited about 20 minutes and tried again—the sound stopped, but we were still concerned. By morning, the bubbling sound came back, so we decided to contact Mr Ping from HDB Plumbers, hoping they might have an available slot as we know they are very busy. To our relief, Mr Ping replied quickly and came by on the same day. They were very efficient and managed to resolve the drainage issue thoroughly. He also detected a problem with our toilet flush system and fixed it as well—all in one day. The cleaning after the work was really well done, which we really appreciated. We are very grateful and satisfied with the service. Mr Ping is not only reliable and friendly, but also genuinely a good person. The photos show the actual work process—from the clogged floor drain where the blockage was being cleared using proper equipment, to the toilet being dismantled and checked, including the piping behind. The final photo shows everything reinstalled neatly and clean, with the toilet and drainage back to normal condition. It clearly shows how thorough and professional the work was from start to finish. The results really speak for themselves. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant experience with HDB Plumber SG, Mr Ping and Mr Soon. Have been their customer since 2024. Mr Ping was very patience in explaining what caused the leakage and offered multiple suggestions for me to choose from without hard selling. He was also able to understand and accommodate to my dad's special request for a particular way of installation. Together with Mr Soon, both work efficiently and manage to wrap up the entire water pipe rework earlier than expected. Most importantly, they charge reasonably and no hidden charges. Highly recommended to reach out to them for any plumbing works.
