Very happy with the battery replacement done to my 2013 MacBook Pro. While it wasn't done on the spot due to delay in battery part, Mac Plus couriered the repaired unit to my address and saved me an extra trip to their shop. The courier offere was a pleasant surpise and speaks volumes on their wonderful customer service.

Highly recommend this shop for their expert troubleshooting! After the official Gigabyte center quoted me over $4,000 for a repair, I brought my gaming laptop here. They correctly identified a specific heatsink/heatpipe issue that others missed. While I spent about two months sourcing the exact part from Gigabyte myself, the team was incredibly professional and dedicated throughout the process. Their diagnosis was spot on, and once the part arrived, they handled the replacement perfectly. The repair and troubleshooting costs were very reasonable, and my laptop is now back to 100%. Thank you for your honesty and expertise!

I accidentally spilled coffee on my MacBook, and the logic board was completely “fried.” Repair shops in Japan told me there was nothing they could do and that my data was unrecoverable. I sent my MacBook back to Singapore to Mac Plus, and they were amazing. They assessed the situation carefully and guided me step by step on what to do. Instead of giving up, they helped migrate all my data from the damaged MacBook onto an SSD so I could use it on another MacBook. All my files were fully recovered and stored securely on the SSD — including my important work documents that I thought were lost forever. If you’ve been told your data can’t be recovered, don’t give up. Mac Plus really knows what they’re doing and saved my data when others said it was impossible. Highly recommended. 5 stars for Mac Plus. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mac Plus would try to defend every negative review vehemently to justify they are falsely accused. So I’d provide a proper explanation with Apple’s testimony. (In response to Mac Plus’ earlier comment). In Apple’s diagnostic test, it was mentioned that software issues are incurred by “improper shutting down” by Macplus’ technician. This is enough to show that the technician’s inexpertise led to the software issues. Mac Plus also stated they provided "data recovery at no additional cost." However, the software issue occurred during troubleshooting, and it raised a fair question: if a problem is triggered during the technician's diagnostic process, should the customer be liable for any resulting data loss? They also listed "External Display Setup... mirror to an external monitor." To clarify, the external monitor was connected as part of the diagnostic process due to the LED display malfunction. This reads less like an extra service and more like a standard step required to run diagnostics. Overall, it felt like routine troubleshooting steps were being presented as "free services," rather than addressing why the additional issues occurred. Now let’s look at the root of the problem, Macplus claimed that forcibly shutting down my system is the only resolution. Despite LED screen crack, I have been using my laptop as per normal at home via connecting to my monitor. I believe Mac plus is aware that connecting laptop to monitor will easily resolve this issue. Not to mention, Macplus has a monitor too which we used during the diagnostic test when my laptop was perfectly functional. Now, regarding the cracked screen, I’m no longer disputing that it’s no longer “accidental damage” but rather highlighting the fact the durability and quality of the replacement components used by this shop is extremely poor. Within 2 months, the screen cracked despite minimal careful use vs my previous screen which served me for over 7 years. As for my mother, she isn’t tech-savvy at all and I had to trouble her to help me monitor the data recovery (which was a problem created by your shop due to your technician’s improper shutting down of my device) She took the information given to her at face value because her only goal was to make sure my data was recovered and did not fully understand poor technical process that led to the issue in the first place.

Don’t come here if you’re considering a cheap third-party replacement for an older device!! Because that was exactly my thought process. I replaced my laptop screen at Mac Plus thinking it would be cheaper than going to the official store. Before the repair, the only difference mentioned was that the replacement display may have saturation/colour differences. Shortly within just 2 months, the screen cracked despite normal careful use (no drops, no pressure). Well imaFor context, I used this same laptop heavily for over 7 years and even dropped it a few times, yet the original screen never cracked. To be fair, I understand shops may classify cracks as “personal damage.” But in my case, the issue is that the replacement screen seemed extremely fragile, damaged even with minimal, careful use—so I’m concerned about the durability/quality of the part supplied. What made things worse was the troubleshooting. The technician ran a diagnostic test and accidentally touched on some cables, which led my laptop to be stuck in Recovery Mode and he couldn’t unlock it. He then had to transfer all my data out into another disc and reinstall my whole Mac system before retransferring my data back. I had to make two additional trips back just to fix an issue that arose during their diagnostic/troubleshooting and shouldn’t have been created in the first place, which wasted a lot of my time. Overall, this experience suggests poor-quality third-party parts and inexperienced handling. Alas, if you’re considering repairs here, be very cautious because now I not only have to spend more money to replace my screen, i have also wasted so much time dealing with repeat visits.

Claims that they are open, but no matter how many times you call or message, they don’t reply or answer their calls. Even if you go up to their shop, no one is mending the desk and their bell seems to ring for nothing.

I accidentally spilled water on my MacBook air and I couldn't switch it on anymore. I don't have any backups and was worried I would lose all my data and files since water damage can be very difficult to salvage. A friend of mine recommended me Mac Plus. I visited it and the owner told me the motherboard is burnt. In short, he managed to save it and I got everything back intact. Very grateful he saved it. Very reasonable and affordable prices. Highly recommend for anyone who needs any help with their Macbook.

This is the second time I have used MacPlus to repair my MacBooks. They are extremely professional and transparent with their pricing. In the latest repair, based on my description, they were able to diagnose the root cause of the issue and provided different repair options for my consideration. Turn over time was quick too and I am very grateful for the efficient work!

Really honest and efficient business. Sent my water damaged macbook for diagnosis at apple as my keyboard was malfunctioning and was quoted 1.7k. Macplus was able to accurately diagnose the issue as some water corrosion on the logic board and fix my laptop without even have to replace any parts. Overall a very pleasant experience and I was able to save a lot of unnecessary cost!

Thank you for giving my laptop a new lease of life. My MacBook battery was totally dead. I went to the authorised apple shop and was quoted 500+. MacPlus charged me one third of the quote and fixed it in 40 mins. Thumbs up!!

I sent my 2017 iMac for repairs about 2 weeks ago. My iMac is a little bit old and running a bit slow and I wasn't able to format the drive because of some unknown reason MacOS was giving me. I decided to change to an SSD storage and start afresh. The service rendered was great and fast considering that I gave Mac+ no deadline because I wasn't in a hurry to get it back. I really like the no-frills service and you really don't have to pay for anything until they fix your device. I will definitely consider coming back to fix any of my Apple devices in the future.

I visited the shop recommended by a friend for a Mac repair. The diagnosis revealed a faulty PSU and a partially damaged hard drive. I decided to go ahead with the repair, which will cost around $1,000. Fortunately, the shop is able to migrate the existing data from the old hard drive, which is not completely damaged, to the new one. The entire process will take about 8 days, depending on the availability of parts. I hope the Mac will last another 3 to 5 years after the repair. They are likely specialist in Mac service according to the founder web page and when visited the office.

I had a faulty trackpad, and I was introduced to mac+ by my sister who had her mac battery replaced around 2 yrs ago. My experience with mac+ was exemplary, especially when it came to their service and transparency with the estimated costs for my problem. My trackpad was able to be replaced within a day and it came with a complementary 3 month warranty. Will definitely recommend mac+ to anyone in need of repairs.

They resurrected what I thought was a dead Macbook Pro (was in the cupboard for a year) by changing the motherboard. Was surprised that all the data was intact. Wasn't in a hurry to get it but they still got it done in a little over a week.

Editing from my previous post where my wife erroneously has a wrong impression on non-disclosure of charges before diagnosis which resulted in us giving a wrong review. We apologize for this. And thanks for clearing this. My wife is the one who did not check properly.

This is a lovely little place that repairs and restores MacS that Apple considers to be obsolete and beyond the scope of their repair. Apple classifies products into current products, vintage products, and obsolete products. The repair coverage correspondingly is full, partial, and none at all. So for issues like a dead hard drive, the repair service offered by Mac plus is a lifesaver and also a pocket saver, because Apple will not replace components in obsolete products, even if the system is otherwise fully functional. Service is efficient and a good value. So for service outside of the warranty, this is a great option.

Went there to recycle my iMac which is in working condition but just slow. Hope they will recycle it.
