   I asked him to come to set up an induction hob just to connect the wiring. He came to join the wires but nothing worked. He even tried to test with his bulb and it lit up showing there's power from the electrical 15A point but to my hob still no response! In the end I still had to engage the hob distributor who fixed the wiring mistakes that this uncle screwed up. He did it in 10 mins. What a rip off as he charged $70 for not rectifying the issue. I had to do without a working hob for 2 bloody weeks and had to eat out everyday!!!

   Support this local electrician uncle. Hired him twice before. The latest was to troubleshoot non-working sockets that were added in my house years ago and he found it was due to poor quality wiring used. He got on to replace the whole wiring set good. Unlike many sinkies, I dun bargain to get as low prices as possible cos come on, he's a ad-hoc electrician family man I got him to come over during dinner time.

   This uncle charged $180 each time he came to my house. My electrical panel tripped, and even after flipping all the switches in the panel, the power still wouldn't turn on. I had no choice but to find this uncle online. When he came, he looked around, flipped the switches in my electrical panel, and even flipped the main switch off. Then he opened two small doors on the meter box outside the door. Looking out from inside, I could only see him reaching in, seemingly pushing something back up... Then he pretended to check every electrical outlet in my house before finally flipping the main switch back on in my electrical panel, and the power came back on. He charged me $180. After he left, I looked at the small door on the meter outside the door and saw that there was another main switch there... The uncle could have just flipped that switch back on to turn the power back on. Wow, he charged so much for that! A lesson learned. But why was there another main switch outside the door that I didn't know about, besides the main meter? P.S. This uncle advertises online, so my 5-star review below might be fake. I only chose it because I thought the review was genuine.

   Hello, I'm Uncle. When I told you that your oven had short-circuited, causing the power to go out in the whole house, I had to check all the plugs in the house to make sure there were no other problems and that they could be operated safely before I could turn on the main switch. There is a main switch on the electricity meter outside each house, not just the one inside the house.

   I was going through the internet, when I saw the reviews about Peh Tian Sung the Electrical contractor. I called him to come to my house to install 2 fans and a power point. He set the date, 21 March (last Saturday), and time 3.00pm. Exactly at 3.00pm he was at my doorsteps. Peh came in looked at the situation and quoted me a very reasonable rate. He also assured me that he will do a very good job. He immediately started installing the fans. I noticed he is a very meticulous person. He showed great attention to details, very careful and precise. He takes his time installing the 2 fans and then asked me to test and leave the fans on. And then he proceeded to do the power point. Once he completed it, he tested with his meter. I was 200% satisfied with his work. Peh is a very honest and humble man. He is very experienced in electrical works. I will use Peh for all the electrical works in my home. I recommend Peh to those who want to do electrical repair in your house. Thank you Peh. Harold
