   I engaged their service for replacement of leaky kitchen tap in May 2022 (bought the mixer from their stock) and the clearing of choked floor trap at kitchen/yard today. Plumber was experienced, careful and efficient. I do agree with most reviews that prices tend to be on the high side, and no discount for today's service and was charged $180 for using machine-operated tool for week day job. Increase of $40 from a year ago based on reviewers' input. Quotes were only presented after inspection.

   I engaged their service (Jackie Khoo) in Dec 2021. I already sensed they overcharged me ($280) then for a simple 20-30 min brass clamp (patch) job for my leaking pipe. I asked how much to change the pipe and he was reluctant to do it and said “thousands” and slyly left the decision to me. The same pipe is leaking again, though at a different spot, and this time I went to get more quotes, so I know his is way overpriced. DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER! They prey on your desperation and ignorance.

   Their services is Overpriced - SGD100 for a less than 2 minutes (if not much less) work. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR THEIR FEES BEFORE HIRING THEM otherwise, you get to experience HIGHWAY Robbery and pay $20 just to listen to their non-sense.

    WAY TOO OVERPRICED! The initial consultation charge of $20 seemed reasonable, which is why we went ahead with them at first. But for a very simple pipe clamp he charged above what it was worth. I highly recommend NOT working with them and finding other plumbers. It was our mistake to not read the other reviews - which also talked about others being scammed. Please learn from our mistakes and avoid S & E Plumber Service Singapore!

    Connected through Local Service - Khoo said $20 for a visit to assess choke in floor traps and quote. There and then quoted $280 to clear x2 connected floor trap with a drain cleaning machine - basically a thicker drain snake that gets vibrated by the machine to break up the choke and some manual plunging. 10min job, 3 month warranty. Talk about a rip off. It's true choke is cleared for now.

    Was referred this plumber via a third party website. Had issue of toilet button not working. Mr Khoo came down to assess and charged additional fees just to open concealed toilet cover. Said needed parts to replace but no supply. In the end no solution short of changing the whole system. A second opinion plumber fixed the existing system on the spot the very next day. So simple within half hour!

    I am disappointed in NTUC's referral to S & E - Singapore Plumber. Mr Khoo charged me $220 for clearing 3 floor traps. Initially, he wanted to charge me $240 for 2 floor traps. The nasty smell came back in less than a month, I accept that but I paid an overpriced amount of $220 for nothing. Other plumber charged about $50 per hole which is total of $150. I got ripped off. Furthermore, there is a leak in my toilet bowl which he didn't identify and wanted to charge more money to come back to take a look. I really regretted using NTUC platform for service. I should have done my research on google on his company but I trusted NTUC's referral. 1-star for his service. 1 star for my lack of research.

    We deeply apologise that our services did not meet your requirements. We would like to highlight that services for flushing of clogged/smelly drainage ranges from $50 to a few hundred dollars, depending on the severity. There was an agreement that day to do it with the machine at $220 for 3 floor traps. The average market rate for flushing of drainage system using the machine starts from $100 for 1. It was also reiterated to you that we could not guarantee that the smell would not return. As for the leak, it was unfortunately not conveyed to us.

    The price for the simple replacement of the shower fixture was far too overpriced. It is unethical and a fraudulent business practice to sell your product way beyond the market rates.
