Glad to have found Wen Bin (Boon Ping) after much research on someone trustworthy to do general servicing on my air con. He is indeed very friendly and meticulous. One leg kick everything and a little more understanding and patience if you don't want to miss out on him. Does not "carrot" people and price is very reasonable unlike most of the horror stories I came across from other people who used other company. Help me do the best setting on my air con controller which I had been doing the wrong one all along. 😅 Many thanks! 🙏

I recently had an Wen Bin come to my apartment, and I am very pleased with the service. He was incredibly knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue immediately. Not only is he highly skilled at his job, but he is also exceptionally kind, patient and helpful. He took the time to explain everything clearly and even made sure my apartment was left perfectly clean when he finished the job. It is rare to find someone who combines excellent workmanship with such genuine professionalism and care. My air con is working perfectly now. I highly recommend his services to anyone. My regular aircon servicing technician who has strong knowledge. He also helped to install my mother's aircon and giving advice which to install and how to run the piping at reasonable prices! He went the extra mile to check the DB board and informed us to repair it, knowing that my mum is staying alone. Appreciate the service and help!

The best aircon servicing experience thus far. Boon Ping was responsible and honest and only recommended servicing for aircon units he deemed needed. He was meticulous and took time to clean the units properly. On top of that, he also recommended frequency of servicing based on the age of your air conditioners and offered tips on how to maintain them to extend the servicing timeline. Left my place clean after his job too. He’s the man to look for for your servicing needs.

An honest guy who actually uses a thermometer to check the temperature of the aircon when you tell him it’s not as cold as it used to be, instead of using just their hand and brushing you off and telling you “if the green lights come on it is fine”. And after he solves the problem, he will verbally explain to you and write a detailed description of exactly what he has done on the invoice. He actually cares about the work he does, which is more than I can say about most other people.

First time engaging Boon Ping, as he is referred from my neighbors. In fact, quite a few of my neighbors are using him for aircon servicing. Boon Ping is approachable, sharing with me the correct aircon settings to be used. He is also very thorough in his cleaning, ensuring a task well done. Read about Boon Ping services on the news and decided to get him to service my home aircon. I was very impressed by how meticulous he is when cleaning up the aircon unit. Chanced upon Comfort Cooling Services while searching for air-con maintenance and after reading the good reviews, I decided to go with it. Made the right choice, Wen Bin is reliable and definitely efficient as he carried out the works all by himself. I know nothing about air-con and Wen Bin is honest - did not push to “top up gas” or hard sell other services. Will continue to engage his services and recommend him to my relatives and friends!

Very good cleaning and service. No hard selling. Original wanted to clean 3 units but he only cleaned 2 because the last unit didn't need any cleaning. Price reasonable as well. Just be prepared to wait a while for him to reply when you message him because it's one man show and he doesn't check his phone during the servicing.

Engaged Wen Bin to service 2 units of aircon. Arrived on time, aircon were clean detailed, no rushed job. Cleaned the place well after all works are done. He even got his own water scraper with him! He patiently answered my many questions regarding aircon and also advised the optimal settings. Thanks Wen Bin!

I cannot recommend Boon Ping enough! After years of dealigng with other AC company that came and went quickly, never solving the root problems, I finally found someone who is truly reliable and professional. He carefully inspected my newly installed Mitsubishi Starmex units and immediatley spotted issues the original installer ignored. Despite charging me a skyhigh price, they never even changed the old pipes (which should have been included in the installation). Within just one week my AC started leaking, and after their so called "repair", it stopped cooling properly - exactly the same problem i had with my old AC! Boon Ping, unlike hte others he doesn't rush. He took his time to thoroughly check every detail, adjust the gas levels precisely and explain everything clearly. He even followed up after the visit to make sure the system was working well. The level of care and professionalism is unmatched. He genuinely cares about the job being done right and about the customer's peace of mind. From now on, I'll only trust him with my AC servicing. A true gem!

It was after extensive research that I decided on contacting Comfort Cooling Services to inquire on air-con installation services. Namely, after I read a CNA article of the business owner, Mr Ho Boon Ping. I also saw a short video of his interview. In both the video and the written interview, Boon Ping was candid of his trade and his work ethics, which made me decide to contact him. I did not regret it. Although his mainstay is air-con servicing, Boon Ping liaised with his partner installer company on my behalf. The partner company was ironically the company I had set my sights on but decided against as it was located in the extreme west and my locale was in the north-eastern side. I wanted an air-con installer who would also be my air-con servicing mainstay. In the end, I reaped the best of both worlds. Both business owners are locals with high standards of air con installation and servicing and their own bottom line when it comes to their work. Boon Ping came down to my flat within 2 hours' notice for a non-obligatory site survey and stayed 1 hour to explain to me how air con works and also figure out all possible configurations of air con installation. The latter was mainly because my flat has impossibly thick ceiling beams running across the perimeter of almost every wall, which hindered the gradient required for the condensate piping. His quotations were also extremely detailed, down to listing how many metres of piping/insulation before additional charges set in. It was extremely helpful for a first time air-con owner. No guessing, no surprises. I ended up having both bosses involved directly on site during the two days of installation, with Boon Ping present throughout the entire duration, assisting to supervise the workers from his partner installer company. In fact, Boon Ping kept parrying my requests for payment after the air con installation was complete, insisting that I try out the air con for at least a week or so to ensure that everything was fine. And of course it was. I am now the happy owner of a 9k and 18k btu Starmex split unit air con configured on a 27k btu System 3 outdoor unit. Boon Ping is an extremely pleasant chap to work with, super down-to-earth, patient, responsible and ethical. I look forward to engaging his services for air-con servicing in the near future. P.S. Boon Ping is running a one-man show for now, so what the other reviewers said about slow responses are true. Be patient enough and prod him with some WhatsApp messages if you think he may have missed your msgs. You will be amply rewarded for your patience.

Guided by good reviews on FB we engaged Comfort Cooling to install an aircon system in our house. The team led by Ho Boon Ping did an excellent job. Mr Ho is competent and thorough in his work and honest in his advice. Very happy to have found a highly skilled technician with great integrity whom we will continue to engage to service our aircons. Highly recommend Mr Ho and his company to all who need aircon installation or servicing.

I engaged Boon Ping by referral. He is a local SG guy, gone thru NS and is currently a one man show. So pls support local SG biz! He will ask how often do you use your AC & which ones are used most frequently, then he start with visual checking each individual FCUs and will tell you whether general cleaning is required or not. Prior to commencing, he will lay cloth underneath the FCUs to absorb any water droplets during dismantling the condensate hose and water tray. I observed the way he does the cleaning and I must say he is meticulous, when he was removing the blower, he gently lifts up the cooling coil bundle and followed by slowly removing out blower. 👍🏼 He cleans each components throughly and after reassemble back, he place a cloth in-front of the blower before powering AC to capture water spluttering out. He is the first person that I have seen doing this way. He does a post cleaning area clean up by ensuring debris are wash away and even scrap away water on the toilet wall. 👍🏼 Looking forward to the next service, Boon Ping!

Send him a video of error code shown on the remote controller, and he is able pin point whats wrong with our aircon. He is very detailed and meticulous in his work. Kind and hardworking guy. Highly recommend, and will not have any regrets. His price is very resonable, do tip him whenever.

I engaged Comfort Cooling Services because I was encouraged by the article in the news about our local talent, that featured Mr. Ho and his company. Mr. Ho was very responsive and asked me detailed questions such as - make/model of A/C, nature of service, number of evaporator units - so that he could be well prepared for the job. On the appointed day, he arrived on time and after a friendly greeting and a little chat, he proceeded with a site survey and visual inspection of the evaporator units. To my surprise he told me NOT to service an evaporator (fan coil) unit because it was quite clean. He advised me to save on the service costs and not worry about a needless service, but after I told him I had an obligation to hand over a fully serviced A/C unit to my new tenants, he agreed. His service was meticulous and he had equipment that was well suited to the job - his own wet/dry vacuum, a high pressure cleaner, adaptors that fit neatly onto my tap etc. He was also very neat and tidy, mopping up water, laying out cloths to catch drips etc. His technical knowledge was also very good - he was able to explain to me so much about the technical aspects of air conditioner operation that I was very impressed. Finally, before he left, Mr. Ho spotted a mistake that the previous A/C technician had made - some bad electrical wiring - and immediately set about rectifying the problem. He used the right materials for electrical insulation (3M self-consolidating harness tape!) and asked me to visually inspect the rework and give my approval. Overall, I was really pleased with Mr. Ho’s service and his friendly and approachable demeanour. I am glad to support our local technicians, they’re just as good as anyone else and Mr Ho is proof of this. He is really well trained and knowledgeable and was the first HVAC Technician I met who was honest, reliable and trustworthy. Thank you Comfort Cooling and Mr. Ho!

He did an excellent job in replacing my aircon panel—put on his safety harness, out the window, seal up with aluminium sheet and now no more water leakage when it rains! Excellent service by Boon Ping! May take a while to respond, but does a thorough job in cleaning. Recommends if an air-conditioner require cleaning, instead of cleaning all. When contacted due to water leaking, he advised me on the proper settings before recommending cleaning services.

I've engaged Boon Ping in late December 2024. He did not turn up and only responded quite late on the day of the appointment that he was sick. I wasn't pleased but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Rearranged for another appointment, and he was early. I can see why there are many positive reviews of him as he does a relatively thorough job and educates us on maintaining air conditioning as well. He doesn't seem to check his mobile while he's working which is good, and explains the lack of responsiveness. It has been more than a month, and my air cons are fine. Understand that he is a one man show, but his responsiveness can be improved.

recently contacted Comfort Cooling Services to inquire about their aircon services. However, I was disappointed with their lack of responsiveness. I had to follow up with them multiple times before receiving a vague response about their availability. While I understand that businesses can get busy, I believe that timely communication is essential, especially when dealing with customer inquiries. I felt that my time was not valued, and I was left frustrated by the experience. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend it to others. I believe that there are other aircon service providers who would be more responsive and provide better customer service.
