Yen was excellent in helping me evaluate my waterproofing concerns. He came the very next day after I called regarding my concerns. Because of technical issues he was unable to view the roof the first time. He agreed to come back the second time at short notice and did a detailed assessment for me and got back at short notice. I would recommend flux solutions for their professionalism.

   Response from the business

Thank you very much for updating your review and for giving us the opportunity to assist you. We’re glad Yen was able to follow up promptly, return for a second visit at short notice, and carry out a more detailed assessment of your waterproofing concerns. We also appreciate your patience and understanding, especially when he was tied up attending to another customer earlier. Thank you again for your recommendation and for recognising Yen’s professionalism and effort. We’re happy we could turn the experience around and assist you properly.

We highly recommend Kelvin Lim/Flux Solutions Pte Ltd. He is very responsive and his team made a preliminary assessment of the repair works in quick time. Afterwhich, Kelvin provided an incredibly thorough and detailed scope of work, leaving no room for guesswork or hidden surprises. During the repair works, when Jaya asked him for advise, Kelvin responded quickly and decisively. As such, work carried on promptly. It is also noteworthy to mention the floor tiles installed by Forid. His craftsmanship is exceptional—every single tile on the bathroom floor is perfectly level, and the grout lines are flawlessly straight. The shower curb installed by Forid was professionally made. The shower curb looks fantastic. The finish is super neat. I would also like to mention Jaya. He arrived on time every day, and left the workspace spotless. Jaya coordinated what to do each day and maintained high standards. We are very happy with the results.

   Response from the business

Thank you very much, Ee Leen, for taking the time to leave such a detailed review and for your kind recommendation. We are very glad to hear that Kelvin’s responsiveness and detailed scope of work gave you confidence throughout the process. Clear communication and proper planning are important to us, especially for repair and waterproofing works where unexpected issues can otherwise arise. We also really appreciate your recognition of Forid and Jaya. We will definitely share your compliments with them. It is especially encouraging to hear that you were happy with the tiling workmanship, finishing, daily coordination and cleanliness on site. Thank you again for trusting Flux Solutions with the works. We are very happy to know that you are pleased with the final result.

A colleague recommended Kelvin to us, and we’re really glad we engaged him. Water seepage can be such a headache, especially in an older apartment. Kelvin really went the extra mile to find out where the leak could be coming from, checking both the upper and lower units and carrying out the necessary tests. He was very thorough and responsible, and helped us confirm that waterproofing works were needed. We’ve engaged him for the works and have been very happy with his professionalism and attention to detail. 👍👍👍Will recommend Kelvin to anyone facing water seepage or waterproofing issues.

   Response from the business

Thank you very much, Kit, for taking the time to leave such a detailed review and for placing your trust in Kelvin and our team. Water seepage issues can sometimes be difficult to diagnose, especially in older properties, so we are glad that the necessary checks and testing helped identify the likely source and gave you a clearer direction on the rectification works required. We also appreciate your kind words about Kelvin’s thoroughness, professionalism and attention to detail. We will be sure to share your feedback with him and the team. Thank you again for your support and recommendation. We truly appreciate it and are glad to have been able to assist with your waterproofing issue.

If you have a landed property with a tiled roof that is a few decades old, you can almost be sure that you will need the services of a reliable waterproofer sooner or later, and many times over into the future. You will receive in your letterbox loads of material from people claiming to be waterproofers, many of whom may be small time operators or fly-by-night. I'm thankful that I started on the right foot with Flux Solutions, and have since entrusted to them the care of my roof, as well as other jobs like leaking sidewalls and bathrooms. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and when they honor their warranty in the 6th year as well as 9th year of a 10-year warranty, that speaks volumes of a local SME that is here to stay. In particular, I have found the services of Kelvin Lim, their Sales Manager, to be excellent. Kelvin has provided honest service all these years, and I really appreciate that we can talk frankly and openly. He doesn't try to upsell, and even discourages unnecessary expenditure. All the workers who have come to my house over the years have also been very pleasant and responsible, and as far as possible Kelvin tries to send the same workers who know my roof well. I try to support local firms whenever I can, and Flux Solutions (and Kelvin) is one SME I would comfortably give five stars to.

   Response from the business

Thank you very much, Edmond, for taking the time to share such a detailed review and for your trust in Flux Solutions over so many years. We truly appreciate your continued support, especially your recognition of our commitment to honouring our warranties even many years after the original works were completed. For us, standing behind our work and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients is just as important as completing the initial job well. We are also very glad to hear your kind words about Kelvin and our workers. We will definitely share your feedback with the team. Kelvin has always believed in giving practical and honest advice, and it means a lot to know that this has been appreciated over the years. Thank you again for supporting a local SME and for entrusting us with the care of your home. We are very grateful for your confidence in us and look forward to continuing to serve you whenever needed.
