Did waterproofing on my roof. It was not a very well executed process eg workers not turning up when we were waiting for them. But that is not unusual given the logistics contractors face. The job was finished in end 2024. In April 2026, the leaks started during forst spell of heavy rain i recall. The company said it was past warranty and I had to pay for rectification. As the quote they gave for rectification was substantial, i had another waterproofing contractor do the repairs. However, on accessing the roof chrckong on the installation, it was found that there were holes in the sealant and membranes that were peeling. I accept that it is outside the warranty period, but my question to Le Fong was whether it was expected of their product/workmanship to show such dilapidation in a relatively short time. Todate i have not received a respnse.

I engaged Le Fong Contractors for my house painting and water proofing works. The team was lead by Sarveswaran and Tamil, with his excellent crew. Very dedicated, did the job really well, efficient and fast. Impressed by the quality of finishings used workmanship. They really give good recommendations and suggestions. Anyone need such services, I would certainly recommend them, true professionals.

Admin was unresponsive, total waste of time trying to engage them for their services. Waited for a month with no response on the quotation despite customer service (Ms Aw) saying they will send over the quotations. Pls don’t waste your time on this company and engage others instead.

A section of my ceiling still experienced leaks after they did the job and it was not easy getting them to come back to check and/or rectify even during warranty period. When they finally came to see the problem, no one got back to me with any solution despite me sending them a few messages. Even after I called and spoke to a lady there who said she will check with the supervisor and get back to me, they never did. There is a possibilty that after leaving this review they will have something to say in contrary to what I have just relayed as their defence, but I have absolutely no gains by making up any part of my review so my advice is for readers to exercise discretion in engaging them if you so decide to. Many contractors in the industry offer warranty periods but what good are warranties when it is hard to enforce the contractor to make good on their warranty after full payment has been disbursed to them.

Our roof terrace waterproofing project was badly managed. They didn't respond, leaving us to handle coordination ourselves. Key tasks like subfloor hacking weren't completed, roof leveling was poorly done, construction protection was missing, and our sliding door was permanently damaged. Problems remain despite several cleanup attempts. They even tried legal action when we withheld final payment but withdrew after seeing our evidence and our stance that we'll only pay once all issues are resolved. Strongly advise against hiring them—our experience was a nightmare.

Contacted Le Fong to apply epoxy flakes on my bathroom floor before renting the unit out. Initially, they were very responsive. Though it was CNY period, I receive a reply very quickly. Sent them photos of the floor and assumed an inspection is warranted. To my surprised, they said inspection was not required as they can gauge from the photos. Received a quotation after this. Agreed to it and a WA grp chat was initiated by them with relevant people in it. I had my doubts and insisted they come to have a look – in hind- sight, lucky I insisted. They came and said everything is ok and the quotation remain status quo. Job took about 1.5 days to complete. Was a one-man job. The worker worked diligently. After the work was completed, I noticed a distinct different shade of colour patches on the floor. I requested via the Grp Chat for the supervisor to inspect. As I am an overseas owner, I wanted them to inspect while I was still in the country, but they were not responsive. They relented after I said I will withhold payment. I had left the country by then. I arranged with my rental agent to allow access during the key’s handover to the new tenant. It was a Sunday. Le Fong replied they do not work on Sundays. Fair enough but what happened in between was what bugged me the most. When I asked why the different shade, the reply was the floor is uneven. Why was this not told to me during the inspection? They said it would not be able to detect if its only minor unevenness. To summarize. 1. They knew floor unevenness can give rise to the issue. 2. They also knew that it is not easy to detect unevenness. 3. They knew all this and yet did not warn me of the consequences. I can imagine why they did not think it was relevant to warn me. After all these, the least I expect is some flexibility form them to inspect on a Sunday. Now, the I am having difficulties getting the tenant to provide access. Since I have already made the full payment, I don't expect much from them.

We used Le Fong Builders to give our roof a new lease of life after 36 years and their team rose to the occasion. I would like to thank their foreman, Sarveswaran, who I found to be very professional and dedicated towards ensuring the job was done right and to our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend Le Fong Builders to any folks looking to fix their roofs or build new awnings etc. These guys are very good.

Le Fong is a hopeless company that we engaged who refuse to honour their warranty when we agree to release remaining 50% payment for them to honour their warranty. After paying, they simply refused to answer our phone calls for good. Use them at your own peril!!!!

Engaged Le Fong for repair of spalling concrete. Workers did the job fast in one day. Areas which were patched up were very smooth, smoother than the areas which were not patched. Thank you for the very good job.

Really disappointed. Expected more from them. First impression over call and text was knowledgeable and sincere. They requested to visit the site but did not turn up. MIA after that. Don’t answer calls or reply to text. Really irresponsible. I do not recommend them.

Justin was the main coordinator for our roofing works and he was fantastic. Prompt, thorough and very willing to get down to solving the actual problems. Justin would look for several solutions, give the various pros and cons whilst being realistic of issues that he would need to escalate. What I appreciate was how Justin would go the extra mile in settling all the leaking issues for my place. The workmanship was of a very high standard and I will recommend for others to use Le Fong.

I shared a similar situation with one of the reviewer who is a website service provider. This happened in 2018. The owner paid half the amount and claim that the SEO is not working. However, a few months after my optimisation, the website ranked for major keywords and the owner changed his business location without informing me. Till today, he still haven’t paid the balance. Terrible!

I had contacted Le Fong after observing their workers work on my neighbour's roof. One of the workers came over to take a look and took some photos. With that, he could communicate with the head office and a quotation was worked out very quickly. While I was initially skeptical about how quickly the inspection and quotation was done just through a few photographs and whatever the worker told the boss over the phone, I realised that this was most impressive because the person repairing the leak will be the worker himself - not the boss. So if the worker sees exactly what the problem is, he is likely to know what is wrong and how to fix it. So why shouldn't I trust his judgement. Secondly, for the boss to just listen to the worker over the phone and be able to then provide a quote tells me the amount of trust the boss has in his workers' abilities. It also made it very convenient for me as anything I raised was communicated back quickly and I would get a response back fairly quickly. Typically, the boss of such contracting company is too busy and you wait many days for them to show up and when they do, they are in a hurry and very reluctant to explain the technicalities of the solution because they tend to assume the customer won't understand. Then the instructions to the workers are brief and unfortunately not complete. With Le Fong, I thought the company was responsive to my needs. Special thanks to Arif , Ragen and Kumar who spent hours analysing the issue both on sunny days and on wet days and they finally fixed the leak well. Even though the contract was for a targetted area, they expanded the coverage beyond that just to make sure the leak issue was really addressed. One of the workers Rajen, also noticed how the wall on the opposite side of the room had bubbling on the paint. Having worked on my neighbour’s roof, he knew where the fault lines were and assured me he will get the issue fixed, which he did. So while his job was to fix leaks, he ended up-selling the company’s services by sporting additional sales opportunities. I was reluctant to spend more money initially but am glad I did. All these happened in October and I held my breath with each shower and thunderstorm the past month with the relentless December rains. I am most relieved and happy that this was the driest my room has experienced. The leak is gone and the wall has stayed dry. The pails to catch the drips and the towels on the floor are also gone. Both issues were resolved to my satisfaction. Credit goes to their workers who knows what they are doing and did their job well. Behind all these is the liaison person Joi whom I have been corresponding with. She is super efficient in dealing with anything I needed to know. Whether it was an issue I rasied, the invoicing, fees … etc she was on top of it. She is also polite and very patient with my demands and requests. I thought Joi represented Le Fong very well as the voice behind the face of the company. Come to think of it, not once had I spoken with the bosses of the company. I do know the workers and Joi consult their bosses for key decisions. This is how a company should be run, thru trusting your employees. Through my engagement of Le Fong, I dealt only with the workers and Joi, and yet everything I raised got addressed. Joi would patiently explain what she can or cannot do thru consultation with the bosses and the workers will explain to me the technicality of what they were doing whenever I asked. Yet, the bosses seem to be on top of things even though I haven't seen them. To me, this is most impressive – for trusting their workers and staff and enabling them to serve the company well with their expertise. Thanks again Arif, Rajen and Kumar and also to you Joi.

Was looking to replace my current acrylic roof which was getting old and also letting in much heat. After searching I came across this company. After much consulting, I decided to employ their services to replace it with a composite roof. Ms. Josephine Nunez (Joi) was very helpful in coordinating all that was required. Everything went smoothly. The workers who came to do the site inspection and installation, led by Mr. Shumon, were also very professional and courteous, something that is a rarity these days. They even came back very quickly when there were some minor adjustments to be made, without any questions. Overall, very happy with the service and product provided. Highly recommended for your roofing needs!

A friend recommended Le Fong when I needed to do water proofing on my aircon ledge. The owner personally came over, inspected my premises and we agreed on the job scope and price there and then! After a few days, his team of foreign workers started work accordingly. Except for the occasional rain that disrupted the work, everything else went on so smoothly without a hitch. Their workers are skilful, resourceful and the quality of work was above my expectation! The workers did not cut corners but carefully cover all exposed or potential seepage areas and painstakenly changed all my existing floor traps. I highly recommend this company for their unsurpassed workmanship, commitment and business ethic!

They engaged our company for website design services. When the project is completed, they demand a full refund and tried to blame us, because the organic traffic is lower. They refused even to meet up and simply want a full refund. They don't bother to understand that searching on different topics on different months will have varying results, and that other websites have made progressions/improvement and thus could have better ranking than their website. We have 14 years experience, and have done more than thousands websites upgrading, ensuring that there are no broken links, and all old URLs are being re-directed accordingly. Worst still, they refused a meeting and want to bully their way by threatening legal action. If they treat Service Providers in such crude way, I doubt they will treat their staffs or customers any nicer.

I have recently used their service for waterproofing. From the site visit to job quotation, it was done professionally with detailed itemised quotes. I dealt with Janine, who is my main contact, very professional, responsive, matriculate in her quotation. Very pleasant to work with. Their workers on site, Hridoy and Arif did an excellent job. Very focus, hardworking n efficient in their work. I will certainly use their service again.

Le Fong was contracted to do repair and upkeep of the facade of our shophouse: It's very difficult to find a professional contractor like Le Fong that can deal with this type of structure and implement a permanent solution as opposed to a quick fix. Le Fong removed all the plants growing on the facade, cleaned the facade, fixed the cracks and fissures in the facade where plants were embedded and put herbicide to prevent resurgence, put bird spikes on the colums to discourage pigeons and other birds and painted the facade back to its original color: Excellent job!, and we were very happy with the quality of their work and good coordination and communication with the staff. Will definitely use them again.
